the way u guys reason stinks. I advertised my personal car for sale. The useless eleko guy jumps out from nowhere shouting it's a stolen car without proof. U guys are the type that languish in jail when taken up for baseless allegations without proof. Here u are saying the same thrash. Just because nairaland is a faceless forum, u guys think you can talk anyhow.
Nb : I have requested that nairaland release the deleted comments by eleko on that thread cos I'm taking him up legally. Some of you have to learn lessons.

She needs psychological debriefing. What she's experiencing or experienced is(was) vivid imagery of the dead person, NOT GHOST. It's a usual occurrence in PTSD and some other psychological conditions.
It will disappeare with time but if it persists kindly seek help.

But on a general note, how was the fluid management done? That kind of temperature would have drained the fluid out of that woman in sepsis with or without blood loss from surgical site.
Did you consider DIC? Many questions for the primary managing team and your senior colleagues.

DIC is probable, but I'm sure it was sudden degenerating Electrolyte imbalance. Remember it was after evacuating the effluent and washing with normal saline that the patient degenerated. Patient probably already had some degree of Electrolyte imbalance. But the effluent served as a tamponade to more loss. So washing it off, opened the tap to increased loss of electrolytes at the wound site. That caused the irrational behaviour and shut down.

I was told to give IV PCM 600mg stat. I then reopened the wound, washed with NS, and redressed with savlon and povidone iodine.

She was a Yoruba Christian. She was praying, holding my hands, saying that I should not let her die, that she still has little children at home. She then started behaving abnormally, talking irrationally and screaming, also convulsing intermittently.
At this point, I called a senior who came in, assessed her and told me privately that she won't make it. He told me to continue masterly activity which I did.

She finally died after few hours she was brought in. I certified her dead in her file, disconnected all life support, and went to my house to sleep around 3am when the call got less busy. I was weak and sad. Did you know, this woman followed me home. I was shocked when I felt there was someone looking at me from my window. My body was shaking. I've never believed in ghosts, but she came to my window and stood there, with same clothes she was wearing when she was brought in. She said why did I allow her to die. I was lost for words for a moment, thinking I was dreaming. But damn, it wasn't a dream. I just drank coke from the fridge few minutes ago. I rebuked her in Jesus' name, telling her I did my best. I told her to go back to where she came from. She stood there for a while, looking at me, then turned and walked away. I heard her footsteps as she walked away. I didn't sleep again till morning. I opened the fridge and took out coke and drank, to be sure I was not dreaming, then started praying in tongues to control the fear in my heart."

What can be a reasonable explanation for this?

doc, you really did your best. Yes, it was post surgical sepsis complicated by electrolyte imbalance. Electrolyte imbalance usually happens in sepsis together with severe anemia. But from ur narrative, I believe it was Electrolyte imbalance. I hope u guys do mortality review in your centre. It always helps in future management of other patients. Pray well. But the ghost won't hurt u since u r innocent.

Attached is the picture of last brainbox i bought and car was fantastic (no stalling, ran in closed loop, no funny PID readings, fuel consumption was superb) but all this lasted barely 1 month and the car started stalling, black exhaust and finally wouldn't even startup anymore.

Please who amongst us is in the business of this ECU that can afford me the opportunity to test run it for a couple of days and once confirmed i would make the purchase immediately.

Reason is i have spent so much on this car replacing all sorts of Sensors,distribution coil, fuel pump, camshaft sensor,crackshaft sensor, brainbox and wouldn't be too comfortable just throwing parts at it this time around.

invest in a good scanner and lots of informative youtube videos

u r right. But that was the very first brain box that was very problematic. Hence it was replaced and eventually discontinued. If he buys that, he may have issues.

Sango is a neighbourhood town to Lagos and it's the route for driving cars cleared from cotonou to Lagos

So all I mean is if ure interested in paying duty for cotonou to Lagos that's the first quote

Oliver, why not tell people there is no more land border clearing. These games are dangerous o. U can't smuggle a car through Cotonou and clear in tin can. U can't clear in sango either as there is no land border clearing anymore. Any end consumer doing so is at the risk of losing such vehicle any day he is flagged down by customs

sometimes buyers think then are smart. A friend told me he was offered a toks 2003 highlander by a dealer in kaduna for 1.9m. I laughed. People don't understand that wicked dealers are repackaging tired naija used cars as toks. Then they will term the honest dealers wicked, only to come and inundate us with numerous codes and complaints when they buy from the unscrupulous elements.
