All the W124 Mercedes cars I have ever seen have been equipped with automatic transmissions, which are for the most part extremely reliable. My preference would have been for a manual gearbox, but Mercedes only ever produced them in very limited numbers for the W124, primarily for the European market, and never for the V8 powered old vintage Mercs that I drive exclusively.

In short, virtually all running W124 Mercedes cars that you find in Nigeria today, are likely be four cylinder engine variants, with an automatic gearbox.

Learning appropriately. I seem to wonder why our local painters never seem to get the exact same paint details in a patch up body work. One door be looking original while the door worked on be looking different. sometimes I wonder if the paint we use here are just fake.

Oga, with the use of the paint code, is there a sikken paint on sale with the code or the seller has to mix paints to arrive at the code.

I've personally gone to paint sellers with my painter to make sure I got the original "auto base" and this has always been the practice but car always shows sign of a woman on "bleaching" cream

Bros lets be factual, Mileage matters.. Is not the most important factor to me but it counts, abi you go buy car with over 300k miles for the same price with which you can get one with less than 200k miles?

That is a felony here and punishable by fine and jail.

The proper thing to do is to keep a log with receipt fo when the engine was replaced. We don't know the mileage of the new engine too.

This is why I laugh at people that fixate on mileage alone. One should look at the total vehicle condition.

I was bought a Toyota MR2 with 265,000 miles before. It was as clean as a whistle, have had an engine change before.

1. im 6"4 by height. do i fit in? i drove both 2005 and 2007 honda accord which was at all not a problem with my height.

2. please which benz should i go for C350 or C300 and what year btwn 2008 -2011 is preferable nd has less problem and arnd what mileage im i safe with. i dont travel much(once in a blue moon). i read something about EIS nd ESL. please advice me cuz im going to the car mart tomorrow.

Just that production of 202 ended 2000, you know cars can only be 15 years before they can be imported.

I'm looking at 2006, C230 or if I can get any tokunbo locally I will like to start with the last 202 series, maybe 1999 or 2000 c200 or 180.
