There say its the poor man who says meat and eggs are bad 4d heart. What u call consistency on timis part was a severe lacking in talent so stop trying to euphemize it. It was a talent hunt. A voyage of discovery. Its expected that any true talent should go thru a range of genres and show versatility in most to be truly worthy of being called talented. Timi was consistently cowardly, sticking to a genre that worked for him, scared to stray from dat genre lest we discover the limitations of his talent. Oma on the other hand pushed and stretched her talent to its breaking point. And it never broke. Timi will get boring by his 5th song. But i can only imagine how versatile an oma album would be. So stop spouting that consistency crap. Oma was a consistently surprising and unpredictable performer with a whole range of vocal skills. The perfect entertainer. Timi was consistently unimaginative and sometimes boring. There was nothing to look forward to. And its versatility like omas that has kept artistes like madnona ahead of d game. I give timi 1year 2hold ur attention with his music. But with oma it would av been different. Timi is good, but oma is a better artist than timi will ever dream of being.I just wish sony gets to sign both of them and give them d same resources. Studio time and marketing promotion. Do you really believe timi will be more successful than oma? In your dreams. And u guys timi won so stop ur bias. I can n i will recognize omas voice anytime of d week n twice on sunday. D fact than u recognize busta rhymes faster than u recognize pink doesnt make busta a better artiste. Oma performed 2 c. aguilera tracks. And a bob marley. And she nailed them. What r u guys talking about. U guys dont know wat musical talent is. At a job interview r u taken because u r only intelligent? No. Its a range of abilities that sets u apart from d nerd with no people skills. N dats what timi is. A musical nerd with no other talent but a gruff singing voice suited to just one genre of music and absolutely no people or presentation skills. No beef. Just d truth. Timi cant represent d way oma would av. N we all know dis. Lawyerchap is my brother and i guess he is still stunned that africa chose predictable n safe over unpredictable and daring.

quote I feel she was using sexual appeal for votes. She started off always ladylike in her cocktail dresses and the last few weeks, the dresses got really short, see through and she became too loud and overconfident

Thabs it speaks volumes for the depth and maturity "or lack of" of your mind to spew such an uninformed, childish and downright stupid opinion. i had a lot of respect for your opinions before but u killed it. grow the **** up. i wont even bother trying counter u.

the bottom line is this. having diversity can never be a minus, these are amateurs having a range of options is always the way to go so dont u guys say oma's diversity was bad and that timi had a clearly defined style and so was better. thats bulls**t.

remember that post idols kelly clarkson had her first album a pop rockish effort which did okay but not spectacularly. it was when she went back to the drawing board and was adviced to switch to full rock that she become the star she is today. how many of you can name three tracks on her debut album post idols? if she didnt have diversity she wouldnt have been able to breakaway. no pun intended.

pink was just another britney spears and jessica simpson, singing bubblegum pop until she switched to full rock which has given her the international respect britney and simpson can only dream about.

omawunmi is the kelly clarkson we needed as a first idol. timi would never be able to utilize this opportunity to the depths and levels that oma would have been able to. we talking international endorsements, photo shoots, movie and concert appearances. and lets face the fact, the world is fickle and a crooning, non confident west african male will only engage international attention for that long. if at all. but a curvy, diversely talented and intelligent black queen, the international world would eat her up. they wont be able to get enough of her. we're talking face of africa and miss world fame. and you all know this. whats timi going to do with this opportunity. pose for next months edition of dish magazine, attempt. might even succeed at making a fairly okay album, sell averagely or perhaps even outsell tuface but i guarantee you, he cant even hold nigerias attention for more than two years, how much more the world. the average nigerian cant even stand his crooning type of music and you know this.thats why silver saddih and others that slow sing dont have the recognition they deserve. only paul play has been able to breakthru in that genre and we know on whose back he came riding in.

we needed a kelly clarkson to break internationally, we didnt need a 2 minute of fame ruben studdard . you guys fail to look at the big picture. in the international market theres always room for a female with diverse skills. but do we really need another male crooner, how much more one from africa.

being practical omawunmi should have won if africa was hoping to get any good mileage from that idols thingy.

besides that any body without bias like my friend thabs can see thyat oma was is and will always be a better performer and a better talent than timi. every day of the week and twice on sunday.

timi is a good artist, but is a sad waste of the maiden opportunities that this event would have presented to showcase africa.

Jodie was voted off before temi and jerrylyn so what does dat say of d selection process. Timi had more fans. Period. He wasnt the better man. My prediction. He might hav more fame for now but oma is going to be more commercially successful than timi. Mark my words. Timi is good. But seriously? Over oma? And how can u people say timis overperformed single to omas diva style international quality song. Well 4 a forum with d general agreement dat saucekid is better than mode9 i can no longer be shocked.

I'm using my phone 2post so i cant scroll up but d guy that replied my last post are u kidding me. Oma had only one bad performance dats her mary blige but like u said timihas had about 3bad performances. Diverse vocal strength? Are u kidding? Timi all thru d competition has picked songs that fitted his rough gruff voice but oma has been the person taking risks n choosing ambitious tasks and it has consistently said off for her. Its called strategy. She sang just enough 2keep her in d competition till d final stages and then she brought out the big guns. Thats where eric got it wrong. He brought out his aces too early and we say thru his adorability 2quickly n saw his average talent so we sent him home. The guy talkin about make up take a chill pill. Its showbiz. Its all about glamour. Half of d clothes u see on d runways are not commercially feasible or even practical. Its showbiz. Its meant 2be exaggerated. Or d make up used on d runway. Its delibrately exaggerated. Timi will not make a fitting idol. At least not over oma. Not in a million years. And all d judges know it. U can see it just the way we all knew they all wanted jodie to win.The guy who talked about money stop being a hypocrite. Its all about d money and fame.Would u not think it pretentious if they had said oma we want u to win so u can use your fame and fortune to achieve world peace. Seriouly. Its the money 4them. Its the love of music 4 her. dont judge her by wat her peeps said ok.The competition is messed up , we lost some good people along d way. But we can make it right. Finals should av been oma, jodie, jarry d ghana boy and joan. Period. Lets make it all worthwile. Vote oma. She is more talented n stands a better chance of breaking it internationally. Timi sings 1 genre of songs. Oma could easily sing pop rock or r and b which r d genres dat will be acceptable world wide. N 4 d love of God there was absolutely nothing wrong with omas bob marley and c. Aguilera. Or are we forgetting these are amateurs? My people. She nailed both songs. N only jodie would av been able 2 come close. Timi not in a million years

Timi is good but seriously we all know omawummi is better. she's a fitting representative for the first african idol. Timi cant cut it internationally, and thats not because of his diction or his self esteem, we talking total package. and omawunmi is total package.and omawunmi having a better package doesnt even mean we have to trade off on talent, no!! we dont becos omawunmi is obviously even better talentwise than timi.

lovability---oma
adorability- oma
voice range- oma
performance- oma
confidence- oma
talent- oma
diverse vocal skills for all genres- oma
beauty and grooming-oma
deep ruff luther vandrossy voice-timi

so what are we talking about.

hey busygal i aint ragging on you. any fan of modenines my friend, so dont sweat it gal, i got your back

my best line from "pain" is
"and now the world remembers you as the one who got slain,
suffocated by the fumes , from my verbal flames"
Music/RadioRe: Pentium Ix by chukky76(m): 11:44pm On Mar 20, 2007
dude in my opinion pentium ix is even better than e plurubus unum. thats because it has that grimy dirrrty feel that appeals to me.
dont get it twisted though e plurubus unum is also a classic, with mad tracks and all that but its a really safe and conservative album, no real hardcore battle tracks , but i love it all the same, but pentium ix takes the cake

personally my best tracks are
360 poetry
gentle wind
germs
pain
spazmodic

my overall best is pain(now the world remembers you as the one who got slain, suffocated by the fumes from my verbal flames)

can any rapper in naija ever top those lineshuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuh?

@busygirl
oh my God you murdering the lyrics. its ok. the words are actually

i emerge from the mist a lyricist with the urge
to start a movement, so all you real heads converge,
so we can purge the industry, like we fed them laxatives,
cash flow, only real rappers will see stacks of it,
relax a bit , i know you feeling edgy because you rhyme right?
you got the lemon and the torch i got the lime light
read the sign right before you battle M.O.D because when i'm done i'm a sign right on your P.O.P
i'm on T.O.P, bite me and suffer indigestion, you are not objective like multiple choice questions, you buying ass like you patronizing hoes
i'm killing foes, leaving them f@@ked up like free shows,
like ill bliss and em, i'm a thoroughbred breed , and theres a need for you to take your leave,
like the neighbourhood dope man selling wet weed,
stay like jodeci and stand the risk of getting jet li'd

@ov
you need to get malcolm ix and e pluribus unum. there are all classics. tell your friend to send them to you else maybe i could upload for you but my connections is freaking slow

personally my best tracks are360 poetry
gentle wind
germs
pain
spazmodic
my overall best is pain
Music/RadioRe: Who Knew Paris Hilton Could Sing? by chukky76(m): 11:27pm On Mar 17, 2007
ok in case y'all havent realized it, the whole paris hilton dumb blonde spoilt rich girl who knows nothing act is exactly that.AN ACT. thats what gets her paid my dear. you know how many teenagers look up to her and envy her for what she represents? an easy way of life, thats why she gets contracts to model teen clothes, thats why her album actually did sell and is still selling even though its not doing as well as other established and thats why y'all sat your lazy arse's down to watch the simple life one and two to watch her naivete and her dumb anitcs which translates to
cha ching, money in the bank for the dumb blonde.
she has a book thats selling quite well

you've seen her interviews and if you a good judge of character, someone who talks that well do you really thik she can be that dumb?

so you losers can hate all you want, the girl has it on lock from her act which you love to hate and its getting her paid.

stars are blind is a great song and i have it renamed twice on my ipod so it plays twice on my playlist.

keep an open mind, find your own edge as the girl has found has and STOP HATING

na wa for them oh. i applied lazily one night when i was tired of web design and i no know anyone for first bank but i was invited. dude you people need to grow up. fine some people may be employed due to connections but theres still enough space for people without. i have friends in NLNG, SHELL, SCHLUMBERGER AND IN ALL THE BANKS IN THE COUNTRY WHO GOT IN WITHOUT CONNECTION. so guy truth is if you made a good grade, have an impressive CV and have a believable age you'll be shortlisted. stop all these conspiracy theories. Pray to your God instead ok.

Music/RadioRe: Thegame One Blood: by chukky76(m): 11:34pm On Mar 08, 2007
The Game is a shameless name dropper. he spent so much time calling peoples names on the album he forgot to concentrate on hs music. A huge minus for him
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nlng Test by chukky76(m): 11:24pm On Mar 08, 2007
i also thot i wasnt invited but at the last minute i called lng Human resources and found i was shortlisted . a lot of the invitation letters were not delivered and except you called and enquired you would not be sent an email. according to what one of the people at HR i spoke with said, everyone who qualified 28 years and below and 2.1 was invited. almost 60000 people sat for the test why do you think only you were singled out. you were shortlisted but probably you didnt pursue it. nothing good comes easy.

its past now, just keep praying to your God, He'll give you something better as long as you're true. the test isnt the end of the world. take heart and be strong!!
Music/RadioRe: Thegame One Blood: by chukky76(m): 1:30am On Mar 08, 2007
one blood is one of the most controversial songs in the USA now and it was threatened it would be banned but it hasnt been yet. in case you dont know one blood is a battle cry to the games gang group the Bloods. (see the blood and the crips.)

its just like a nigerian black ax member releasing a song screaming aye' aye' aye' aye'
Music/RadioRe: Mode9 by chukky76(m): 1:27am On Mar 08, 2007
yea it is. but i really think
Pain,
Germs
lagos state of mind original version and
spazmodic
from Pentium IX should hav been on this album. come on. i guess its the grimy gritty battle like nature of his mixtapes i love the most. its what i was looking for . its a relatively safe album but a qulity slice of hip hop nonetheless.
big ups mode nine.

will do a full review but the last 6 tracks on the album definitely the best. perhaps because they had the most battle flavour in them.
Music/RadioRe: Sauce Kid Moneylong: The Mixtape: Best Of Both Worlds by chukky76(m): 1:53am On Mar 07, 2007
yea big ups on the self promotion sauce kid.
saw your poster under ikeja bridge. seriously u need to take more pics because we pretty tired of seeing that same old one all over the net and stuff. hope your mixtape is not as "creative" as your publicity.
dont worry 'm gonna looki for the bootleg copy and then if its any god i'm gonna put sme money in your pocket
Music/RadioRe: 9ice Certificate Album by chukky76(m): 12:22am On Mar 02, 2007
dice your name sounds suspiciously like 9ice and you always hyping him and always seem to have up to date info on him . if you really 9ice i must commend you for your contribution to naija hip hop, you doing well, you and id cabasa but for the future learn a little about subterfuge and subtlety when embarking on self promotion.

but if you not 9ice, then congrats man , you like good music, and i like that
Music/RadioRe: Eldee And Freestyle by chukky76(m): 8:13am On Mar 01, 2007
ok seriously when you buy an album titled "free at last " from an ex member of a hip hop/rap group what exactly were you expecting to heard except beef tracks and i cant do better than tracks? while bragging on almost every track , freestyle did it with such poetry, and such flow that instead of apearing conceited , it actually sounded brave and justified. give the guy some credit.

freestyle is better than eldee. dont you know that? compare their flows, their poetry, their pinchlines, thier beats, their vocals, in all categories freestyle wins. or is it not eldee that sang "me i go yarn" and "that one he was in jand" and african chikito
Music/RadioRe: Eldee And Freestyle by chukky76(m): 12:57am On Feb 26, 2007
dude you totally wrong . freestyle was totally himself on his album and that album was one of the most quality material of last year. freestyle is every inch as good as he brags about. he just need to work on his marketing and presentation to the public.

how can you say he copied eldee, dude go listen to your album again, or do you even hav a copy?

Music/RadioRe: And Glo Settles The Beef On Who's The Greatest Naija Rapper by chukky76(op): 2:22am On Feb 24, 2007
you obviously know nothing about advertising so is there really any need to argue with you? you mean if tetuila lobbied for that spot he could have gotten it? you think GLO will compromise their brand for someone who lobbied ? you think advertising and branding is a joke?

Glo was looking for perfection, an authocratic figure, someone who rules the world he lives in, one who does not compromise his standards, a real man and theres only one nigerian rapper that does that. mode9. ruggedman while a tight rapper in his own right flows with the tide of mainstream hiphop and that alone is a man that compromises and not ruling his world . so think your thots thru before posting ok?

lobbied? very funny
Music/RadioAnd Glo Settles The Beef On Who's The Greatest Naija Rapper by chukky76(op): 12:24am On Feb 23, 2007
Guess by now y'all have seen the glo "i rule" adverts on tv with modenine. at least we can now put the issue to rest on who the best hip hop rapper in naija is and who is keeping it real. thats why mode9 was used and not ruggedman or saucekid cos by glo's opinion and which is a reflection of general public opinion, mode9 rules his world.

do you people want any more proof?

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Diamond Bank: Is This The Best? by chukky76(m): 6:08am On Feb 22, 2007
my dear i don't have any experience in interview as i just finished service and have only just written a couple of tests which i've passed but i can tell you this. don't make any prospective employer feel like you are desperate for a job. be calm , almost aloof but serious. don't give the impression that you are going to be the breadwinner of your extended family as its this class of people who are tempted to look for "deals" to do.

you have to be smart, every question is a trap, so learn to second guess your interviewer. when he asks what position you are in your family you think he wants to know about your familys family planning techniques? no, he's looking to see how many people are dependednt on you.

so its not about class, its about security and stability of character as only the desperate man feels the need to steal.

my dear lie if you hav to, just don't get caught
