I think teams have mastered the art of pressing and I foresee us (City) having problems down the line.

It will be interesting to see how Pep deals with the left side of Porto's attack. The threats are coming from there.

I will also like to see what idea he comes up with regarding the pressing.

My suggestion, bring in Foden to sit deep with the central midfielders and form a two man attack.

Gives extra passing Option during build up plays and Foden can drift into attacking positions when needed.

Partey offers something different from ndidi and arsenal needs something different and thomas should be the cheaper player, not taking his qualities away

My vexation with rohr is how algerians won us with the same strategy. Truth is that the man keep delivering in real matches which his records shows. I don't believe those matches he won were a function of individual brilliance because there is no how a person in the field sees more than the coach unless you are calling rohr a daft( which he is not). I believe the man is improving and must have realised his mistakes. on onachu case, whether he received or didn't receive cross,whether is the fault of the coaches or not, truth is that guy needs to stay clear from super eagles and sort out his deficiencies till the next coach . Let's try other strikers who will use their intelligence to win us games since rohr is so daft a person to coach(which he is not). Tactics is not moi moi. At times we should be mild with our bashing knowing Rohr is a professional who has coached for years.

Onauchu is fantastic, thing is that our clueless coach set him up to fail. Talk of giving a dog a bad name, so as to hang it. You cant have Paul leading your lines while playing inverted wingers, thus denying your point man some decent crosses.

True, rohr may be tactically weak we all know thatt but for onuachu, he is good but not fantastic. Pls rewatch games onuachu played for us apart from the egypt match. You are right about playing inverted wingers but thats what we have. At least i saw a good cross which he wasted lets not even talk about corner kicks.Guy is slow, can't even win aerial duels, can't press,can't link up or even play with his wingers and midfielders. Adaptation is part of the game. At least he was given instruction before the games. Most we now try to suit someone who wants others to work to feed him crosses ten times before converting one. How many wingers today even cross like that. Genk yes is performing but the coach won't be there forever. His pattern is stereotyped, very easy to be marked out. Same iheanacho that doesnt play week in ,week out came in and scored. See truth is others should be tested he has tried. I rather build my team around a striker like osimhen than onuach.

Lol... You are right. He will challenge anyone on the left even new boy Ejuke. Also, Lookman can play on the right and if you noticed closely, he is quite kinda two-footed. Dribbles well with his right majorly but also used his left foot proficiently. The goal was even scored with his left. He will be a fantastic addition to the depth of our wingers.

On him changing his mind, well... His papers are already with FIFA awaiting full and final clearance. Lookman is coming to us as things stand. But yeah... Time will tell eventually.

He is already on his way. Applied for a switch since early this year. His papers just need to be cleared with FIFA and we will have another winger to add quality depth and wicked competition to our wings.

When we tell you that Zaidu can cross the ball, we referred to that kinda ball cross/pass.

He won't always get it right but believe me he is good at crosses from the left. Expect him to bag more assists as the season matures because he now plays with even better players who would utilise his crosses more than his former teammates did at Santa Clara.

. He is good. I am enjoying what I am seeing. He is also very good defensively. I think his speed is helping him a lot on that.

no hypes Onuachu is a target strikers thats his styles and he has been excelling in Genk with this styles he is the kind of striker harry Redknapp will Like to have don't be suprise if he starts him ahead of osihmen sef....every forwards has it own styles or playing pattern so don't rule paul all because his styles contradict our style nope he is still a very good target man.

. I don't want to go into arguement. That guy doesnt have up to 75% qualities of a target man. Typical example is Giroud..

with these we can play any type of styles coz we have players who can adapt perfectly that's a plus to the SE

. You are right there. That politano guy is selfish. Osihmen was becoming annoyed. I believe normal osihmen would have passed and build with the team mates. But mehn that guy is a beast. According to a report I have seen, Saka has been dismissed from the England team
due to Southgate describing him as a striker and as such was unlikely to play due

Same strategy use in afcon was still used to win us. Its quite painful. We ain't saying you win every game but let the tactics show you learnt some lessons . It made our wingers look useless because of wrong deployment. I was particularly pained by the Algeria match.

. The Algeria are just disciplined in defence and in positional play and then counter attack when u slip nothing fantastic in them. Watching them against the Mexican, the best way to attack them is just two strikers that can attack the central defences spaces. Most time they double up to help the right and left backs which makes it difficult to attack them from the wings.
