Danielhouston:The pakistani/indian guys are also very dirty. If you are unfortunate to share a flat with them they never do house chores like cleaning the kitchen and toilet. Maybe back home only the girls are brought up to do house chores thats why they behave that way. If you rent an apartment in which they just moved out or you sublet your apartment to them just know that you will have to throughly clean it again before you can use it. They love to cook and are always cooking. With their very big pots and fry pan always making their curry rice(briyani) or bread(roti). Sometimes up till 12am or 1am they are still in the kitchen cooking. They are very lazy when it comes to hard work. They will be the first to register for high paying jobs but when it comes to the time to work they always look for the easy job to do. During the summer when we worked on ships together once we clock in they disappear and go into hiding in the toilet some even know the kitchen On the ship and when its time for guests and Ship-workers on board to eat they go to the kitchen to eat while we their work colleagues are sweating it out with work and they only resurface when its time to close for work. But they are scared of black guys because they know we are strong and have a very big D and they are no match for us when it comes to women. Lol |
Danielhouston:Bro am enjoying your writeup so much. I will like to add something about chinese and eastern asians (koreans and japanese) they are very smart and intelligent. Unlike indians/Pakistani that like to impress lecturers in class by answering questions but when it gets to examination they cannot perform, the Chinese and eastern asians are the exact opposite. They are very calm and humble in the class but when it gets to exams they perform exceptionally well. An exam involving calculations for one hour they finish under 10-15minutes while you are still sweating it out and they get very good grades and they are well respected by europeans. Also most of the chinese you come across in europe are well loaded. Most of them are studying on scholarship or have very wealthy parents. You will never see them doing hustling jobs like other international students. The first thing most africans coming to study in Europe need is space in their boxes in other to carry as many food stuff as possible. These guys come with only their clothes because they can afford to eat out. There was this chinese guy on my building, he came with his foldable bicycle all the way from china. That was the first time i saw and knew that it was possible to fold a bicycle into the shape of a suitcase. One summer while jumping from one job to the other i saw him fully kitted in his complete cycling gear riding his bicycle just for fun under the sun. i almost weeped. I swear This life nor equal sha |
olioxx:The German lecturers are more exposed and experienced than Nigerian lecturers. Most of what our Nigerian lecturers teach are based on the theoretical knowledge they received as students coupled with what they read from text books. But the German lecturers have both the theoretical and practical experience. Where Nigerian lecturers have the upper hand is in teaching and passing the knowledge to students. I don’t know if it is because English is not their mother tongue but Nigerian lecturers communicate better. |
Danielhouston:Education is very tough here. You have to combine classes with hustling and maybe with learning language and if you are not very good at multitasking you can lose your mind. Work is so hard. There were times during summer that in 3days i could not get 5hours to sleep. You jump from one job to another and almost all the jobs involves standing and working for long hours sometimes up to 12 hours straight and also sometimes overnight. The educational system is world standard but in my opinion we have better teachers in nigeria. Any equipment you need for your studies is present you will see it with your eyes and work with it. My university for example is not among the top universities in the country but some of the equipment i have seen in the labs cannot be found in Nigeria. At first it was difficult for me to understand the English accent of German lecturers but as time went along i got used to it. In class everyone minds his business. Even if the class is very small once classes are over everyone goes home and you can see your classmates outside school and they will walk past you like they don’t know you. Also the Asians (Pakistani/Indian) students always like acting smart in the class answering all the questions and wanting to impress the lecturers. They have very good photographic memory and can memorize figures and easily reproduce it the next day without studying it. The major thing i dislike about the educational system in Germany is the system of examination especially oral exams. I believe it is not a fair way of examining students as the student is at the mercy of the lecturer. If he likes you good for you but if the reverse is the case it feels so bad. Your oral exam scores depends on so many factors not related to how much you know the course. Your grade depends on the question you are asked, the mood of the lecturer and the fairness of the lecturer. Some of the lecturers are subtly racist and even before the exams have already ranked the class according to race and no matter how you perform in the exams you cannot score higher than members of the Race ranked higher than you. You could go into the exam and be asked a very simple question you know why the next person will be asked a very difficult question if he is unlucky. Also if you are an introvert You will find oral exams very difficult and even an extroverted student that is not more knowledgeable than you are will perform better than you. |
Canada2021:No i live in the northern part of Germany but i visited Berlin last year for a conference. and the rivary i witnessed is even between teams in the lower league and its so strong |
Danielhouston:Also even if education is free at all level. Higher education is not attractive to young people in the developed world because it is seen as a waste of time. In my class out of about 13 students we have only 1 german student. Also the class after mine just one german student and they are mainly girls. I spoke with some of my friends also studying for post graduate degrees in the USA and Canada, they say the trend is the same as most of the post graduate students are international students from third world countries. Most germans prefer to go straight into vocational training (called Ausbildung) after high school as they get paid as high as the amount you earn when you graduate from the university while the training last and they get employed immediately after the training. So university education is almost a waste of time because if they work for just a few years they will make enough money to buy a car, buy a house or even travel all around the world for vacations before they get to 40years of age. So while waste time studying. Also university education is very tough here. At the beginning of a new session you see alot of first year undergraduate university students on campus. Infact at the beginning of the semester it is sometimes a struggle to get a space in the bus when going to university but after the first few weeks the number drops greatly. They are no Longer interested and do not go to classes. but they just stay home watching movies or playing games with friends and on the weekends they go to party. And at the end of the semester they drop out to go learn a trade. |
BelieverDE:Europe and the developed world is moving away from fossil fuel because of the harmful effect on the environment. In Germany they encourage the use of electric cars. you have new electric car charging stations springing up everyday. Some of the public buses are being replaced with electric buses. Also diesel cars pay a lot of taxes and some are being banned. Infact, if you travel through out Germany you see a lot of windmills and solar panel farms all to generate electricity in an environmentally sustainable way and with the way things are going there will very limited use of petrol and diesel in the next 20years. Also every friday all over Germany and europe there is a protest by young ones called friday for future championed by the famous sweedish environmental activist Greta thumberg. Where they march around the streets protesting to the government and reminding the people of the harmful effect of environmental pollution on the earth’s sustainability and they are been taken seriously as the government are beginning to cave in slowly to their demands.. |
Danielhouston:so true i love seeing the police show of force during league games. especially when there is a very strong local rivalry or local derby between teams from two closed cities. you see a high number of policemen at the train stations all well suited in their anti-riot gear and dogs to control the crowds and escort the visiting team to and from the stadium. they always have a pistol. i have never seen AK47 since i left Nigeria. i heard that every bullet used must be accounted for and the use of the gun is the last resort and before they use it they will warn you that they are about to use it. and anytime they shoot a gun they must announce on the radio and television that the gun was shot. i dislike the slow rate of investigation in Germany. i was scammed this time last year also, i went to report to the police. even if they had all the resources to identify and quickly pick up the scammer like the way Nigerian police will do if you give them small money. But up till now i am yet to get get my money back. they only handed the case to a damage repairing organisation that gave the scammer a job like community service and from there they will pay me back my money after he finish his work. but up till now i have not gotten my money back |
I love the fact that in Germany everywhere is well policed and if you think you could easily commit a crime and get away without getting caught, you might be wrong. Small crimes like scratching your neighbors car when trying to park yours without dropping your phone number or way of the affected person contacting you could get you in big trouble. Because other people are watching you without you knowing and will call the police and When you get caught you find yourself in bigger trouble. Also German drivers are so disciplined when it comes to driving. You see them being able to park their car neatly in a very tight spot without scratching. Also hearing the horn of cars in not common in fact you can stay for months without hearing the horn of a car. A German friend once told me that anytime you hear the horn of a car you should be alert and watch out because most likely a very serious accident is about to happen. Religiousness is nothing here. if you come with a religious mindset from Nigeria and you live here for sometime if you are not careful you will forget about God. All the places i have worked i have never seen anyone praying before a meeting or work starts. Neither have i met any young person that is religious or worships something. Or even at the motor park or in the train prayers are not said before embarking on a journey. This is because most of the things we pray for in nigeria for God to do for us the government already provides them. When traveling by bus you are almost 99% certain that you will arrive at your destination safe no matter how far the distance is. The buses are well maintained, very good tires, the drivers are well trained, the roads are very smooth with all the reauired road safety signs and you are certain the driver will not drive above the speed limit. Infact the bus moves so slow about 80km/hr and after driving for some hours the driver is required by law to stop and rest and it is a must. If he refuses to do so they will call the police and he loses his license. And the license is so expensive to get here you spend more than 1000 euros to get a drivers license which is even more expensive than the cost of getting a small car here. If i visit naija i do not think i will be able to travel by bus again because its now so scary to me because nigeria is the exact opposite. |
Bros should have just Tweeted in Yoruba.. We will understand... ![]() |
The current V.C. is the worst thing ever to happen to uniben. ever since he came into office the university has been regressing. this is what you get when tribe you belong to is considered over competence in selecting leaders... |
I dont know why my mind keeps telling me that this guy is yoruba and might just be pretending to be feeling the hotness of the pepper. But i might be wrong.. ![]() |
tundeontop:every hall has a capacity and you can see i was not specific. i said "more than" and did not mention a specific number. anyway i know you are just looking for cheap likes |
great win. i watch the highlight and the hall was filled with more than 15000 fans rooting for the senegalese ladies. inspite of playing under such high pressured environment they still stood their ground to win.. congrats girls |
Kenechill:Yes i did. She is always very tough. But as long as all ur documents are complete and you fund. You will get ur AM |
Gforce2019:You know nothing about white ladies. A white lady will worship you and treat you as a king irrespective of you financial standing as long as she loves you and you are honest. Most african ladies will only worship you when you have money and will treat you worse than a maid once you go broke. |
Nothing will still happen. Once the noise around the issue dies d case will die.. I remember a very popular nigerian musician was incriminated for sending tugs to assult and steal from anoda musician in his hotel room. And today d case is dead and the musician is free as if nothing happened. The sad reality about nigeria is that the law is made for the poor. If you are rich you are above the law |
Jesus.. Wen in germany it is a crime for you to fix your car yourself even if you know how to do so. Even to wash your car is not allowed. Cos only one drop of engine oil in the soil and you will pay heavily for it. But in naija crude oil dey ground like body wey dem rub pomade.. |
I vividly remember when she first contested for the position she started the construction of the ever busy okhunmwun road. But after she was elected she abandoned the road and left it worse than she met it. That God the people have chosen to try another person. |
If a captain can be treated this way. Then no hope for the ordinary soldiers. What I don't understand is why a government that claims to be serious cannot procure comprehensive health and life insurance for people laying their life down for the country. It sad.. |
Shawnnn01:Ohh young man speak for yourself. If your father was a nobody does not mean every other persons father was a nobody.. So go and work hard so that you will not end up like your father too |
I’ve never seen anyone cook chicken sauce with coke or any soft drink.
