obailala: OBI never made any statement about Tinubu not being sworn in.
OBI never made any statement regarding an interim govt.
OBI never asked any of his supporters to engage in any protest of any kind. In fact OBI actually admonished his supporters to remain calm especially since the case is in court.
OBI only said he believes he won the election and will prove this in court.
Except if filing of a case in the tribunal is treason, I'm not sure I understand why these APC agbado mob keep running around like headless chickens over OBI's matter. Una don win election yet una still dey see OBI for dream every night. no be small thing. Obi is obviously their nightmare. |

Politics › Re: Fayose: Election Has Come And Gone, Nobody Can Unseat Tinubu by Chuksyno(m): 9:21am On Mar 22, 2023 |
timilehin007: Anambra is a Yoruba land according to history. A Yoruba man who founded Anambra went to market but he got a call that some visitors were waiting for him, on his way home, he saw a shop where they were selling bras and decided to get for his wife which took him longer than necessary. When he got home and they asked him why he returned late, he said *'àn ńá brà'* (meaning we were bargaining bra price) that's how they came up with the name, Anambra.
Shebi all of us are now historians, let's continue that way.
Happy new week to you
Me: I tell you. It was Ọọni Abewela who established Onitsha as a market town. He named it Oonirisha market but when his non Yoruba slaves, the Igbo wanted to pronounce it, they got it wrong and called it 'Onitsha'. It is time we claimed our heritage.
2. Alaafin Adegoolu established Enugu. He once married a strange but beautiful girl. He loved her so much because of her beauty. Her teeth was perfect, a reason why Alaafin used to refer to her as 'ẹnu gún rege' which was shortened to 'enugun'. There was fight among Oloris and Alaafin did not want Enugun to be deformed due to fight so he sent her to his newly established farm settlement far in the East and even ordered people to join her there. When the new settlement was getting larger, people asked the Alaafin what name would the place be called. Alaafin replied that "let us name it after my wife Enugun." That is how the place was named and after a long time, it metamorphosed to Enugu. Kaaaaaabiesi o!
Craze no be monopoly of a people😁😆😀
The whole of the eastern region as we know it now belongs to the Yoruba people. During the reign of Orompoto in Oyo Kingdom, there was an invasion by the people of Cameroon. They laid siege on Oyo and kidnapped the beautiful daughter of Orompoto. Oyo army gave chase and after a turtuous journey, they caught up with the ramping army, fought with them and rescued Orompoto's daughter. The place where they caught up with them became acamp of Orompoto's What a weed smoking historian we have here. |

Politics › Re: I Can't Withstand Tinubu Presidency......i Will Leve The Country by Chuksyno(m): 3:29am On Mar 22, 2023 |
Jakpon: This is the core reason for their anguish; the Yoruba presidency of Tinubu. They wouldn't have been bothered if Atiku won the election. They wouldn't mind if Buhari who they had so much vilified within the past eight years, decide to go for a third term in office instead of having a Tinubu's presidency.
Having a Yoruba, who they generationally regard as an avid enemy, rule over them, is like a nightmare to them. They do not wish us well, but the more they detest us, the higher we go. We have been besting them in every sphere since the colonialist mistakenly merged us together. In the 1950's/first republic, thier fathers attempted to form a political alliance with the North at the expense of the Yorubas, this ended in a disaster for them - biafra war.
Upon the return of democracy in 1999, the Yorubas have had a president for eight years(OBJ), a vice president for eight years(Osinbajo) and now we'v got the presidency again. These success' of ours is too much for them to stomach. They'll prefer Buhari continues in office than witnessing Tinubu's presidency. Have you not heard them recently calling for an interim military junta? Oga your narrative is rather based on wrong notion. Igbos hate Tinubu because Tinubu hate Igbos even much more than Buhari. Thus, igbos see Tinubu as a threat to their existence and national unity. Ask yourself why Igbos were very comfortable and even with smooth co-existence with Obasanjo's 8 years of administration. It was purely because Obasanjo is not as tribalistic as Tinubu. And let me remind you that Igbos agitations isn't primarily based on not giving them presidential opportunity but rather they are agitating for being perpetually MARGINALIZED. |

Politics › Re: Lay Man Breakdown Of Obi Case Against Tinubu And Inec. by Chuksyno(m): 2:44am On Mar 22, 2023 |
N3TRAL: The law does not tell INEC to set out guidelines. It states in section 60(5), that the results will be transmitted in a manner prescribed by INEC. That is an administrative power. As long as the law is silent about transmission, manual transmission is not a substantial irregularity.
The guideline is an administrative guide by the INEC chairman to guide his staff and political parties. Just like he promised on TV or wherever, he can change it. It his discretion. According to section 135 of the ACT, it isn't enough to cancel the results of the election. Are you making reference through amended electoral act or from old one? I knew the electoral act was amended on this second term of Buhari's administration. |

Politics › Re: Tinubu Drug Case On Peter Obi Petition by Chuksyno(m): 7:19pm On Mar 21, 2023 |
akingangan: Tinubu is such a genius. He could have given countless responses when the hateful campaign of Peter Obi kept using the drug case to campaign and discredit Tinubu. He literally gave them the silent treatment such as is advised when a court case is going on to avoid self-implicating.
Defense 1. He was not convicted 2. He was not found to deal drugs, he was an accountant that was likely paid with drug money from a client 3. You cannot stand trial for the same offense in two courts in different countries. 4. Out of Jurisdiction - If a crime was committed it was not in Nigeria and no court had prosecuted him for that in Nigeria
Now Tinubu himself said he was a security doorman in Chicago while he was a student at Chicago State University. It is very likely that he had acquaintances that would have used his service. This was Chicago in the 70s and 80s!
Redemption After that, he worked as Accountant at Deloitte the number one accounting firm in the world, He has been a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, He has been Governor of Lagos state He has been Freedom Fighter who fought the military to bring democracy to Nigeria
Tinubu's house was blown up by the military and that is the reason he does not have old pictures. He was penniless at some point and granted asylum to the UK with a Visa on a piece of paper(Not a Passport)
For Peter Obi to have added the drug case to the presidential petition is just spiteful.
Peter Obi has cases to answer about 1. The people that were killed in his state whose bodies were dumped in Ezu River while he was governor which led to Endsars (Ironically Endsars supporters were brainwashed to become his supporter as obidient movement)
2. The money he took from Anambra and invested in his private business making beer 3. The Pandora paper which shows his tax evasion as a sitting governor hiding money in Panama You started your narrative like an elephant but ended it up like an ant. Peter is a saint, I repeat, he is a saint when it come to Anambra treasury. He was the only Governor of Anambra state that had no hands in any form of embezzlement of state fund. A governor who stalled the menace of godfathrism in the state. Peter Obi is a man of affluence from time immemorial capable of establishing much more than what Dangote established. |
