Softboy001: When u say things like this it will look as if somebody is not working hard. You have no idea what I have done or been through.
I have done some things(legal) just to survive But I thank I just got a job in a very popular firm in the country. As a costumer call agent.
The issue here now is the sexual tension am facing every day and my current job which I just started a month ago is not helping matters cos 90% of my colleagues are female. And you need to see what they wear to work.
My brother even if you don't want to be moved. You must move. Dem no born you well... Everyday I give my self pep talk on how to look but I still look. The sexual tension is much plus the fact that I have not had sex for 2 years now, the Same me that normally have sex back to back...
Right now am just thinking how I am going to survive those ladies at work on Monday and my dick Is already doing me somehow Where do you work? |
Family › Building Legacy Wealth V Giving It Out by Chuky7(op): 4:26pm On Nov 19, 2021 |
The wife of the iPhone maker Apple once said she and her husband are not interested in legacy wealth building
"I inherited my wealth from my husband, who didn’t care about the accumulation of wealth,"
Which was true so do many billionaires all over the world.
Some believe their children must not pass through what they passed through so they put structures in place to ensure they live life to the most.
What Do you think if you had that much wealth? |

How can I?
Work hard in my youth and build investment portfolios with passive income.
Even When you retire in your 40s you can afford to have your PA handle your phones on all your affairs while you chill in your luxurious home enjoying life and watching your kids grow. |

Datboredberry: Spice up convos? Nope!
If you vibe with someone, everything would be great... That's the weird beautiful thing...
I've chatted with guys... They tried their best, I wasn't into them so the conversations were always boring... I had to force myself to focus... Would ghost them for days...
I've been with guys... They and I would chat for hours... We'll discuss anything from our likes, International politics, the weather, food, travel...etc.
It's not something that's planned...
And you mustn't be chatty... I've also enjoyed the company of really quiet men... Just sit together watching the clouds or some other silly thing...
If you like someone, you would cherish their company...
Most likely, the girl isn't into the guy... hmmm interesting. noted. |

MrBrownJay1: being chatty is one thing, but if what you are saying is UNINTERESTING/BORING to the person in front of you, then opening your mouth is pointless. What would you suggest ? To be more interesting |

So my guy was gisting me about how he met a lady and after the short meet she texted him and was like the conversation was dry that was why she didn't want to hit him up after they last meet.
So how una see am. I thought building relationship is a two way street.
Even at that I wouldn't consider my guy to be the most chatty or most vibrant during convos, he's more average. so any tips on how to spice up convos for upcoming dates. |

Princedapace: Great, we need more value creators in this part of the world. Happy to hear that some people understood my point. A typical Nigerian doesn't like to create. He or she just wants to consume, steal or loot. It is strong mentality here and that is what we take into leadership as well. That is why we can never ever ever develop or have good leadership.
For now, I'm looking at education, health and small scale business solutions. Primarily, I'm coming from animation background(motion graphics) , just trying to add programming to it and have another handle animation for me. Most of the stuff I have in mind for education will surely require animation though. nice. I'm looking at health and small scale business too. more greace to your elbow tho. you need it. Africans are a though bunch especially our country. looking forward to hearing big things from you. |

Princedapace: Yea.. But everyone is not poor in Africa. And everyone is not rich in Europe. I don't understand Nigerians. I said Africa, there was no need asking me about that. I would have said Europe if I wanted. My buisness model is good for the african market. I'm not hungry, I'm not looking for work. I just wanted a different African capital that is safer. I'm touring Accra now and I love it and there are many Europeans here too. The problem with many Nigerians is that they can't create jobs. They are always looking for where they will go and work. That is not me. I already built a skillset that I offer across the word. I want to build it further and open a physical centers here.
When u are in a sane African country, and smart, u can live well and earn ur money. It is cheap labour. LoL my guy there is this crazy Nigerian mentality that I can't seem to grasp. it's funny tho. you told him what you wanted yet he no wan gree u. but I like where you heading am also trying to set myself up on a similar path hold the right amount of income and assets so I can be a value creator to Africa as a whole we have been in the dark for too long. By the way what aspect or area of tech are you solving |

Klass99: It is not for me - that is what I think of that lifestyle.
What people don't understand about this baby daddy trend and lifestyle is that, you still end up paying bills as if you were in a married relationship. So, why not just marry each other and make it right in God's sight? As in, choose a path God can bless.
A nairalander shared his personal story last year. From his narrative I didn't see the difference between paying bills in a legal marriage and paying bills relating to his baby mama/child.
He was paying the house rent, school fees, sending a monthly allowance for both mother and child, had bought her a car too (if I remember correctly) and I thought to myself, this is no different from what a married man would do for his wife and kids.
According to him, he had always planned on marrying her but marriage hadn't happened, so the baby mama lifestyle began and continued. His intentions may explain why he was doing all that he was, but the fact is - it is still the same lifestyle we are discussing nah.
The only difference would be the fact that the adults involved are not married and they may not be responsible for assisting in-laws. But, even the latter is almost inevitable once a child is involved.
Will you not gift something to the grandmother or grandfather, who occasionally chips in to help with your child? Or the aunty or uncle who is kind enough to watch them when the parents can't or whom may occasionally treat your child to nice things? They is the advantage of freedom. Which you forfeit when you marry the wrong person. I have seen marriages that are broken and parties scared to do the necessary. but as a single dad nobody has a hold on you. |

Acidosis: Funding a baby mama and her kids is a more expensive lifestyle. It is a s*lly idea for someone that wants to spend "little" and get his kids to love or acknowledge his effort in the future. no it isn't. emotional support is not lacked, doesn't have to be |
Family › Re: Single And Be Having Children Outside Wedlock by Chuky7(op): 8:01am On Nov 17, 2021 |
Vision101: All these single parenting, the man or woman involved don't think of the impact on the children. When a child is raised by a single parent that child misses some love and impact.
Last Monday the youths in my church had their regular weekly service. As they rounded off I came out of the office to see their leader. I noticed that a young girl in early twenties sat on the chair close to the door. She sat alone and faced the wall.
After seeing their leader I went to her and I noticed that she was crying even though she tried to cover up. I took her to the office and after a lot of efforts she opened up and told me that she was missing her father.
She said that she works in the hospital and that she sees families come to the hospital and she will be asking herself when will her own complete family walk in like this.
Long story short, the mother got married to the father and had four of them. She is number two. Grand mother spiritual issues made the father to abandon them. The father is still alive but they have never sighted him for years. Even the last one doesn't know him.
She said that the mother cries sometimes but she doesn't want them to see her. She said that her greatest wish is to see her father around her as she watches others with their father.
Her mother is not a member of my church. My church is large. Obviously I don't know her. She said that she started attending the church two months ago.
You will agree with me that I have a big work on my hands. The kid was lacking emotional support. something that is not always the case. if you read the story well all needs will be met emotional too. imagine a scenario of monthly or weekly visits. |

Favfables1: This may sound sexist, buh I'm not surprised this is written by a woman ((no offense))...
With the mentality of lots of the girls on nairaland and those I've met, I can conclude that, it's FAR MORE cheaper to get someone to get pregnant and get a nanny to take care of the child for you and pay the person off, than to get married to girls with such liability mentality...
And as for the guy you sited up there, he's doing all those ones because he wants to do them, how many baby daddies buy cars for their...his kind is a drop in an ocean Thank you bro on point |

A neighbor of mine not married stayed single has children out of wedlock I once asked him why he said his family believe that as far as you can take care of them no problem. he believes in going the unconventional way as marriage no too dey favor man. you pay bride price all bills are on you. you take care of your new family. but as a non married man his only concern are the kids and the baby mama.
What do you think of this lifestyle. I dey reason am.
It's not a death sentence for a child born out of wedlock nothing really changes just traditions you are conditioned to for no reason. |
