I do not know why good people do not last. No way for  IBB, Atiku, Buhari, Kanu etc. Goodluck Jonathan for president 2011.

My greatest concern has to do with other vulnerable Nigerians who are not journalists that are being kidnapped all over Abia State with no one to rise to their defence.I understand that ransom fee for kidnappers in Aba actually are in categories-N20,000(for kidnapped houseboys/maids),N50,000(for pupils/students) etc etc

I once told a little boy in Mbaise Imo State that if he was in Aba, he might  be kidnaped for a ransom fee of  1000 naira. The little boy nearly fought me. He said that 1000 naira is too small. According to him, 100,000 naira must be payed for his ransom before he would agree to be released.

I am beginning to suspect some foul plays in all these kidnap stories. There is the possibility that some people surrender themselves to kidnappers  so that when the ransom is paid, they would have a share from it. What were jornalists doing with 3 million naira. Probably, that was a public fund. The journalists might have made the arrangement with the kidnappers so that people would forget the 3 million naira. I think the EFCC should look into this matter.

In Nigeria, we have seen so many party cross-carpetting by politician, Kalu is not the only one. Of recent, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar tried a come-back to PDP from AC, but was denied registration in his ward. It is nolonger news that Mohammadu Buhari had dump ANPP and the list goes on.
