After a failed marriage with Onyeka Odiegwu, Ceecon Oil and Gas Boss, Chima Anyaso, got married to the amazing Adanna Nzeribe (Step daughter of Arthur Nzeribe) in August 2013(pictured above). They have been all loved up and enjoying a sweet marriage.

Adanna is pregnant after two years of marriage and Chima is so excited as they show off the baby bump. Oyea what a beautiful couple. See photo below...

The Nigerian army has released a statement confirming the multiple bomb blast that occurred in Ajilari Railway Crossing in Maiduguri Borno state yesterday night between the hours of 9-9.30pm.

In the statement which was signed by Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, the Acting Dorector Army Public Relations, said 4 suicide bombers attacked the area, detonated their bomb vest simultaneously with their target being some Muslim faithfuls who had gone to a mosque in the area to pray.
14 people including the suicide bombers were confirmed dead while 39 are said to be receiving medical attention. The army appealed to residents of the affected areas to remain calm and advised that they continue to be very vigilant and security conscious as everything necessary is being done to secure their lives and properties.

36-year-old Godwin Nwaofor kept a 'suckers list' of potential victims to send bogus letters saying they had won the Lottery. The Nigerian bad boy received around £1million from the scam and blew the money on luxury cars, gold jewellery and expensive champagne at top nightclubs in London.

Nwaofor was a ‘willing and enthusiastic lieutenant’ to the mastermind of the scam
who is also a Nigerian, Frank Onyechonam, who is nicknamed ‘Fizzy’ for his love of vintage champagne.


Onyeachonam was jailed eight years last year, after he was exposed as the chief player in the scam.
He drove a Maserati and fired bubbly corks across exclusive private members clubs as he lived a life of fantastic luxury on his victim’s life savings.

The scam started with a bogus letter to a vulnerable pensioner telling them they won Australian Lottery.

The letters were sent by a ‘lottery agent’ targeting mainly American pensioners informing them they had won a life-changing prize and requesting a modest sum to release the funds.

Believing they had won, victims were hooked into paying fees to release their ‘winnings’ through an agent who would demand ‘activation fees’ to release their cash.

In some cases, dupes set up businesses in an attempt to receive their winnings and became unwitting money mules laundering cash from other victims.

Nwaofor, a father of two, regularly switched addresses to avoid being caught.

One victim, a 76-year-old woman, who believed she had won $1.85m, tried to track down Nwaofor after the FBI told her she had fallen victim to a scam.

She flew to the UK and went to the address she had for Nwaofor, but found that he had already moved on to another address.

Police identified 406 victims from notebooks found at Onyeachonam’s penthouse when he was arrested.

They seized Louis Vuitton shoes, Gucci handbags, a collection of expensive watches and dozens of designer shoes, as well as 5,000 pictures of Onyeachonam flaunting his wealth at exclusive upmarket venues including the Guvnor Bar in Docklands, east London.

One picture shows him showering a friend with champagne, in others he poses with scantily clad blondes or waves wads of £50 notes. All the property he acquired through fraud have been confiscated.

Now he is cooling his butt in prison, all the overnight big boy has expired. Fraud can't take anyone far.

Nigerian soap opera Tinsel has a new addition to its cast in the person of veteran actor Eucharia Anunobi. Anunobi joins the soap playing the role of Claudia Ojeme, mother to Jared Ojeme and wife of Japhet Ojeme.

With Anunobi’s introduction she joins other seasoned actors as Kalu Ikeagwu, Iretiola Doyle and Bimbo Manuel on the set of Tinsel.

Eucharia Anunobi is a Nollywood bigwig. The Owerri indigene holds a degree in English Language from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

She has a rich resume in the industry but is more often remembered by her 1998 appearance in the Nollywood classic – Died Wretched.

Well... its obvious she is not ready for full-time clergy job yet!

Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Justice Danladi Umar, has been handed the huge task of presiding over over the trial of Bukola Saraki which is set to be the defining moment of his career.

Danladi Umar is the youngest chairman to be so appointed for the tribunal at the young age of 40.

Born on August 19, 1971 in Toro Local government of Bauchi State, Justice Danladi Umar, studied Law at the University of Maiduguri before his call to the Nigeria Bar in 1993. He had practiced in various reputable chambers including Ayinde Sani and Co, Ibrahim Umar and Co and Kanu Agabi and Associates before joining the Federal Civil Service as Senior Legal Officer Federal Ministry of Justice and later Assistant Legal Adviser in some ministries including the Federal Capital Territory and Culture and Tourism respectively. He was also a Chief Magistrate in Bauchi State

The new Chairman of CCT, in the course of his studies and working career has related and benefitted from the knowledge of highly respected international legal and judicial officers and earned experience that would enrich his position.

He hails from Toro local government area of Bauchi state and is married with children.

The appointment of Hon. Justice Umar which went through the nomination and recommendation of National Judicial Council as well as Federal Judicial Service Commission before the approval of President Goodluck Jonathan was to bring in dynamism, vigour and energy of youthful leader to bear in dispensation of justice after he had successfully served as acting chairman of the tribunal before the recent confirmation.

The Code of Conduct Tribunal has the power to impose punishments ranging from vacation of office and disqualification from holding any public office of elected or appointed officers found guilty of contravening any of the of the provisions of the Act, especially on misconduct and corrupt practices. It also has the power to seize and forfeit to the state of any property acquired in abuse or corruption of office.

11-year-old boy has earned himself some accolades after his unique role during the delivery of his baby brother. James Dukes is no longer seen just as a child anyone could meddle with, but a doctor and ‘guardian angel’ as well.

Dukes from Marietta, Georgia, swung into action as soon as his mum, Kenyarda, got into sudden labour while her husband was away at work.

“Suddenly, I could not get to bed. I just collapsed on the floor,” she said.

Dukes called the 911 and the emergency operator gave him instructions on what to do to help his mother deliver the baby, reports CBNS. He was also directed on what to do to keep the newborn safe by removing mucus from the mouth and nose and how to keep the baby warm until help could arrive.

He told the operator, “My mom just had a baby at the house and she needs somebody to come.” and the dispatcher responded, “OK, gently wipe off the baby’s mouth and nose, wrap him in a clean, dry towel.”

The young boy did as he was told and the family couldn’t be more proud of their superhero.

“It didn’t really scare me, it was more just like, let me clean the baby off, make sure he’s okay, make sure my mom’s okay,” said Dukes.

His proud mum added: “He was my support, and he was my guardian angel. He was the man, he was the doctor, and he was my superhero.”


The mother and her new baby boy named Royal, were transferred to a nearby hospital, where they met Dr. Eric Brown, who was supposed to deliver the baby.

Dukes apparently loved what he did for his mum and yearns to do more to save the lives of other expectant mothers.

Now, he just cant help with the dreams of becoming a doctor and Dr Brown is very much interested in helping him actualize his dreams.

Abia Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has warned contractors handling road and other projects for the state Government not to give any money to any body on his behalf to retain their contracts but rather to do quality job that would stand the test of time.

He was speaking at a meeting he held with the contractors at the Government House, Umuahia.


According to him, he has not mandated anyone to act as his agent, pointing out that his concern is to ensure that each contractor leaves his signature on any job assigned to him.

He said the essence of the meeting is to review activities and appraise what has been done so far and how to move forward.

The Governor said he was aware of the efforts of the contractors to meet deadline and assured them that government will continue to do business with those that are diligent.

He directed that the outstanding road contracts be reviewed as his government will not abandon any of the road projects.
The Governor further stated that his government will not give out new road contracts until it is through with the 31 that are ongoing.

In their reactions, some of the contractors including Obioma Davies and Eze Henry Ezekwem assured the Governor of their readiness to do quality job but pleaded with him to release more funds to them.

A pastor was arrested on a charge of rape after he was caught allegedly having sex with a teenage girl in Akure, Ondo State capital.

The 55-year-old man identified as Jacob Ojomo, was arrested by Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) operatives after the 15-year-old girl’s mother caught him in the act.

Investigation revealed that the ugly incident became open by the woman who had been following the suspect, fearing that the pastor was having an illicit relationship with the child.

Upon interrogation, Ojomo admitted to having sex with the girl and doctors confirmed that the girl’s private part had been penetrated several times.
