your perspective is very transparent. i did not hammer on about the SE as you say and i did not talk about Ekiti Osun Oyo or Ondo states.
i did not speak against investment in the SE quite the opposite clearly comprehension is not your forte. what i did say is that i believe the SE region has a better workforce than most places but the challenge for manufacturing in that region is how to get goods out and materials in and that poses a difficulty of course investment in those infrastructure challenges is a necessary starting point.
of what relevance is it whether lagos is FG hausa or Bantu. when i invest my money is it interested in any of thathuh
regarding security again your comprehension lets you down.
i saidmy point is simple; i believe that anyone starting a business providing personal security to rich clients in nigeria will do well because the current situation across the country forces big men to be security conscious. it is my opinion that the biggest market in the future for this will be in abuja, lagos and the Niger Delta states. i do not believe that the SE will be as big a market in this security sector but that is my view however its potential in manufacturing is huge but roads must be built and the Niger dredged.
you clearly are a bitter twisted individual with one dimension to what you call a mind. please say away from me. you are a waste of time and space.
It is the bitterness you have for one section of the country that is eating you up. You should be diagnosed mentally to ascertain the degree of deterioration. Stay away from this thread so that sane people can discuss, your likes are the problem of Nigeria's stunted growth today.

You analysis is diversionary and does not hold any water. Why do you keep hammering on the SE as if the mention of SE is your beginning of wisdom? Apart from Lagos which is largely FG and Igbo/Hausa domination, the entire SW is hugely un-secure and unfriendly business/economic environment which is today responsible for investors being scared away from places like Ekiti, Osun, Oyo, Ondo, ogun and attendant poverty ravaging the region. Place like NE and some parts of NC will be good for agricultural investment due large mass of lands. In the SE, states as Anambra and Abia, particularly Onitsha and Nnewi will be suitable for investment in manufacturing/technological due to the existing large commercial outfit and daily visitors traffic witnessed in the city. Onitsha Port will also be a major added advantage.

Awka is such a beautiful serene city to raise family. Am sure with the new UN Habitat masterplan the city will soon be competing with Abuja in no time. Good works

Iragbiji-Ile, ekt-bear and the other "foreigners" seeking to tell us Lagosians what development is, I need you to bear this in mind. Lagos has been developing, nor be today o!

When the British arrived in 1851 with their consulate, they found a thriving community, living off of trade between the Portuguese, the French and the Ijebus from Ikorodu and Ijebu-Ode, via Epe.

They said themselves that the people were used to industry!!!

Lagosians, I repeat, Lagosians (read that to mean Indigenous Lagosians), from Badagry to Epe to Ikorodu to Isale Eko have always been industrious. If you have any doubts, google The Lagos Consulate 1851-1861, by Robert Sydney Smith, and it will enlighten you. You're obviously not from Lagos, hence your uber-patriotic moniker hereon, sort of crying more than the bereaved, if you like!

You, eko-ile in particular, are a despicable specimen of a man, a sorry excuse of a child, something worse than what the cat spat out, a rodent that cannot live amongst men of honour. In fact you're just a disgusting turd. CARRY ON SUCKING TINUBU AND FASHOLA'S RECTUMS, AND YOU WILL KEEP SPITTING OUT THE SH1T YOU'VE BEEN SPITTING ON THIS FORUM AND ELSEWHERE TILL THEY CARRY YOU KICKING AND SCREAMING INTO YABA SOUTHWEST!

You are a charlatan, a fraud, a thief and a nonentity. AS I HAVE SAID SEVERALLY ON THIS BOARD, IF YOU ARE BENEFITING FROM THE STOLEN WEALTH OF THOSE WHO ARE STEALING FROM LAGOSIANS, OR ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE 12 YEAR LONG violation OF LAGOS AND ITS RESOURCES, THE FOLLOWING SHALL BE YOUR PORTION IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS:

FAILURE
DESPAIR
PESTILENCE
PLAGUE UPON YOUR GENERATIONS
INCURABLE DISEASES
AVOIDABLE MISHAPS WILL DOG YOUR EVERY STEP
DESTRUCTION
IRRELEVANCE
UNPRODUCTIVE OFFSPRING
PROFIT THAT WILL BRING YOU UNTOLD GRIEF

Of course, as I always conclude, you will not suffer any of these damnations if you're not profiting from the sweat of Lagosians, directly or indirectly. Amen. Evem
Up you! Tell that maga. He has continued to defile this forum with his 'Yoruba' mentality.

@OP: I wouldnt rush to blame federal government or Nigerians directly.
Take for example, this year,i can assure u that a lot of medium and high income earners in Nigeria will be spending Christmas in Calabar,Cross-River state. Cross River has almost no oil,and its even larger(land mass) than Anambra. It took the innovation of the likes of Donald Duke to shift Cross Rivers focus to tourism,it was after this buzz was created that FG and other private concerns began to show interest in Cross Rivers.
Anambra people and the bulk of South east have everything going for them except inspirational leadership. Sullivan Chime seems to be the only one with traces of the stuff i'm talking about, and believe me Enugu is turning into something else-in a good way. Its too early to judge Rochas of Imo,but others are useless to say the least.
Nnewi,Nkpor and Onitisha areas have potentials, let their governor take urban renewal seriously and prepare grounds for these cities modernization.
Anywhere Nigerians see good things they will chook head inside sharp sharp, without regards to tribe or religion, this i know!
Your argument is baseless and lacks intelligent analysis. Who told you that enugu is the only state getting it right? FYI enugu is presently bankrupt and needs to be annexed by Anambra if it must survive the financial fatality it is presently faced with. I think enugu need to borrow a leaf from Anambra that has continued to attract foreign direct investors who are presently pumping Billions into production plants/facility in Anambra eg. Sabmiller of South Africa, LG World of Korea presently building a world class facility in Awka to mention just two. This is the kind of news we want to be hearing and not tarring few kilometers of roads (only in urban area) like chime did in enugu though good also. The Onitsha entrance dual carriageway you mentioned has been awarded by the FG to be constructed up to Amansea boundary in Awka the state capital and construction is presently ongoing.

Music/RadioRe: Who Is The Best Musician In Nigeria: 2face Or Dbanj by chy101: 12:22pm On Nov 03, 2011
Dbanj has not even come close to the level where P-square and Tuface parade. I think dbanj can be rated with such musicians as 9ice, Nigger Raw, Tony Tetula, styl plus etc.
PoliticsRe: An Open Letter To Senator Adetumbi - 'Enugu Is Not Bankrupt' by chy101: 12:20pm On Nov 03, 2011
Enugu should work towards coming out of bankruptcy instead coming on pages of newpaper to defend itself. I keep saying development does not start and end with tarring of few kilometers of roads(only in urban center). But the enugu govt should move towards empowering and encourage private sector driven economy, that is where govt can reap tax returns. They should focus on attracting investors that will in return pay tax to the govt and thereby boost their IGR. They can defend their bankruptcy from now till tomorrow the fact remains that the state is really really bankrupt not because it was confirmed by an ekiti senator, afterward Ekiti is also in the list of dead bankrupt states.

Lagos this lagos that. How many of these project has been completed. From Lekki free zone (still on paper) and now IPP. Will these rascal Yorubas stop this madness. Fashola has stolen more money than any governor and head of state.

P-square and Tuface remains the Nigerias best. I don't see dbang among the first 3 or 5.
The list goes thus:

Tuface/P-Square (both celebrated, known in Nigeria, Africa and world at large)
Don Jazzy
Terry G
Dbanj
9ice/Nigger Raw

^

I don't think you know what you are talking about. Okpuna is ear-marked as part of the state capital Awka and development is fast spreading all over the area and beyond. Okpuna as a neighborhood has assess roads and others roads are at various stages of completion. Land generally in Awka city is quite expensive due to high demand by developers from Onitsha, Nnewi and neighboring states.

Now the FG is imprison all the Yoruba criminals from bode to tinubum to bankole to akala to gbenga. I even heard the Falae who has been starving was giving some peanut by gbenga. lol and now Falea is now campaigning for him all over. Yorubas are the worst people I have seen with their dirty nature. They have been relegated to the background where they belong  grin grin grin

Nwanne, why not leave this foolish Baba Suwe brother to continued in his oily soup wahala. Was it not his brother Baba suwe who just excreted 16 pallets of cocain from his ass and he has time to come here to discus the Great Ikemba. Yorubas remains the most backward tribe ever to exist in Nigeria, they are the most barbaric and dirty and devilish people you can meet. Even after the fake free education given to them by that criminal called awaloawoa who committed suicide when When the Great Zik and Belawa couldn't allow him to come near the presidency. Was it not the same useless and silly Yoruba leaders (adesanyaa, bolaa igee and co) that collected bribe money from the boko harams to have abioala and his wife slaughtered by the ordinary almajiris

Forgotten and left behind losers
I can bet that the most interior village in my place is more developed and advanced than the osogboa the state capital of oshun state. We know that Yorubas land is not liveable that is why Aregberascal has gone to live in lagos and also in an estate built by Igbo tycoon. You may not know that your people still live in the mud houses in their respective state capitals in the 21st century. Foolish and focuseless people

Don't respond to that eketi local. They should focus on the message without bias. Was it not posted on NL by yooroba desperado that Onitsha Port was abandoned when in actual fact the project was being test-run for commissioning. The Lekki free zone investors has long disappeared on seeing that the project is just a white elephant project without economic nor social feasibility to churn out the huge money that is to be invested in it. A big drain pipe for fashola and tinube
