You guys should stop believing in and giving existence to rubbish stuffs that do not exist

How could ordinary leaves and salt stop something you already believed is spiritual and has a supernatural power huh
If it really exists, how then can something as physical as leaves and salt stop it?
Or do the leaves and salt also have their own supernatural powers?
How come these yeye things are only experienced by those of you who nurture these superstitious beliefs?
As i don't believe they exist, why haven't they appear to me once since my 40yrs here on earth to prove their existence?
Do you guys think at all huh

He is one of the most arrogant, criminal-minded and corrupt politicians in Nigeria, and should be voted DOWN!

Obidients shouldn't have anything to do with such a man.

Why should they zone it to the southeast. Which northerner will vote for an igbo? Well start learning yoruba and the koran now or Japa.
I guessed it right that someone with your level of IQ can't be an Igboman.

For your information, the nigerian government hasn't made any region rich nor will it be able to limit poverty to only one region.

The poverty it has been engineering is widespread, and in most cases the average Igboman is relatively better off than his counterpart from the other regions.

Go to the airports and see if it's only the Igbos that have been living Nigeria enmass.

Go and check if the Igbos contributed the highest number to the about 130million poor Nigerians.

Nigeria is amongst the most corrupt country in the world, and Igbos haven't been the ones running the country since 1970! How did this happen, if Igbos are actually the most corrupt?

Buhari didn't appoint any Igboman in any sensitive position throughout gis 8yrs rule, and he's not an Igboman. So, silly boy, where did Buhari get his tribalism fromhuh

No one should lay claim to it or boast that his lazy forefathers built it, when they couldn't even give it a name.
The Portuguese slavemasters named it 'Lagos".
HealthRe: Drinking Too Much Garri by ChybuzzDD(m): 10:55am On Feb 23, 2023
chariisGRACE:
Hello, NL people.

I strongly believe that NL houses professionals in different facet of life. Yes.

A quick question to the Opthalmologists/Optometrists and DOCTORS in general.

There is a popular belief in our society that says that 'drinking' too much of garri damages the eyes in the long run.

Is the claim an established one, or it is another 'yeye' talk by some people to exterminate me and my ilks from the face of the earth by making us desist from eating the only food we can afford?
It is true that the consumption of garri(cassava flakes) over a long period of time can lead to poor vision/blindness.

This was confirmed by a study done in Zaria, Kaduna, by Yusuf A. Z etal and published in the African Journal of Food Science in 2013.

However, this is dependent on the quality of processing the garri has undergone.
The implicating agent here is a chemical substance called Cyanide, which is generously present in cassava leaves, root peels and tubers.

It's level in garri depends on the level of processing the garri has undergone, implying a well processed one will be harmless as it'll contain little or no cyanide.

Cyanide causes blindness by damaging the Optic nerves which connect the back of the eyes to the brain, and it's effect is hastened by other factors like malnutrition and vitamin B12 deficiencies.

So, in conclusion, prolonged consumption of garri can only affect the eyes if it is un-or poorly processed in a person with background protein and/or vitamin deficiencies. A well processed garri is safe(for the eyes).
