chygoz3: The phone does not support band 28. My aim isn't to use it for glo, but to ensure that it supports 4g on another network, like mtn. My mtn sim already supports 4g as I was using it on my previous phone. Unless the lack of 4g being displayed even when I did a manual search on it is because the sim in the slot used for the search isn't 4g capable. The glo sim I use on the phone isn't 4g capable. Let me use a 4g enabled sim for the search and see if I'll get a more desirable outcome. OK it seems the lack of 4g being displayed was due to the fact that I used a glo sim for the search. I changed the sim in the slot to the mtn and 4g networks appeared in the search.

GrandMufti: Go to settings and set your glo sim to LTE or switch the data sim back and forth and search again.
If your phone doesn't support band 28, you won't get glo's 4G.
If your phone supports band 28, then go get a 4G sim or ask them to re-register your 4G sim The phone does not support band 28. My aim isn't to use it for glo, but to ensure that it supports 4g on another network, like mtn. My mtn sim already supports 4g as I was using it on my previous phone. GrandMufti: Insert someone else's 4G sim, reboot and reconfirm if it's not working.
Also manually set network selection to manual, then take the screenshot of what you see I used the manual search for the verification and noticed that. The second attached screenshot is from a manual search performed with my mifi.

I just noticed that my RN4 does not detect 4G networks. I normally use a mifi so I never noticed it. Has anyone else experienced this? |

It's not normally a good idea to stick with a company after you've tendered your resignation letter even if they offer you increased pay. They might have offered you the promotion so that they would have enough time to get your replacement before they eventually let you go, at which point you would have nothing to hold on to. |

ERCROSS: I smell lies... of a truth, you owe me no explanation, but why do u need a nigerian paypal when you already have a uk paypal that functions well. Did it occur to you that I may have opened the Nigerian PayPal account before I went to the UK for my masters? |
Business › Re: How To Send And Receive Paypal Funds In Nigeria (Photos) by chygoz3(m): 9:09am On Feb 15, 2018 |
Jakumo: I honestly have no idea how you pulled off this feat, sir, because I know of SEVERAL PayPal customers of long standing, who were ALL blacklisted forever, the INSTANT they tried to carry out PayPal transactions whilst visiting Nigeria.
Na him be say ya juju dey strong, no be small ting.
Frankly I am utterly mystified by your unbelievable claim. You should not be surprised with the ability to operate a Nigerian Paypal account from Nigeria. Paypal does not have any policy against doing so, except that you cannot receive payments with it. |
Business › Re: How To Send And Receive Paypal Funds In Nigeria (Photos) by chygoz3(m): 8:42am On Feb 15, 2018 |
Jakumo: At least you agree that you need to HIDE your Nigerian IP in order to maintain a PayPal account without incurring that BLACKLIST sanction.
In this vein, I can assume with full confidence that you are NOT about to try and use PayPal's services whilst indicating a Nigerian IP address. I never said I hide my IP. I said access it WITHOUT using a VPN. |
Business › Re: How To Send And Receive Paypal Funds In Nigeria (Photos) by chygoz3(m): 8:33am On Feb 15, 2018 |
Jakumo: It may interest readers in Nigeria to learn that PayPal will instantly BLOCK any and all accounts that indicate transactions going into, or out of Nigeria.
Yes sir indeed, I can attest with absolute certainty that Nigeria has been BLACKLISTED by PayPal ever since that platform was created.
Anyone who doubts for an instant the facts I have stated here is free to test the truth of my report here by simply attempting to use PayPal whilst inside Nigeria. Regardless of how long your PayPal account has been open, the instant that account is used for ANY transaction traceable to Nigeria, that PayPal account WILL be closed right away, and the OWNER of the account will also be blacklisted, so that they can NEVER open another PayPal account ANYWHERE on this planet.
I would encourage anyone living in the USA or Europe, and who runs a PayPal account, to call my bluff and so much as TRY to use their account whilst in Nigeria. When your account is closed for LIFE, you can write back here and tell us all how truly sorry you are for making such a terrible mistake as to use PayPal in Nigeria.
Don't say you were not warned. Oga you are wrong. I have a Nigerian Paypal account and a UK Paypal account. The Nigerian Paypal account was opened in Nigeria and I make purchases with it with no problems. The UK Paypal account was opened while I was doing my Masters program in the UK and I still access the account here in Nigeria without using a VPN and it works perfectly. |

eleojo23: Did you guys finish reading the write-up? The OP never mentioned any bypass. In fact, he said he uploaded his Nigerian international passport and his country was set to Nigeria. The only unique thing I noticed was that he set up a business account instead of individual account.
Abi is there any bypass there? A word is enough for the wise. PayPal will always ask you for verification documents once your account starts receiving huge amounts of money. PayPal also does not want Nigerians LIVING IN NIGERIA to be able to receive funds with their accounts. Until they change their policy, transact at your own risk. |
Business › Re: How To Send And Receive Paypal Funds In Nigeria (Photos) by chygoz3(m): 7:26am On Feb 15, 2018 |
Until you have made some money and PayPal temporarily suspends your account, asking for some documents like proof of address and then discover that you're running it from Nigeria. Your funds get held for180 days before your being released and your account terminated. |
