i cant believe people can be this silly in a public forum. i think our Eze need to intervene as this is seriously getting out of hand. we are supposed to be our brothers' keeper and not specialist at washing our dirty leaning in the public. i dont even know what u guyz are aiming at achieving. please enough of this. wherever u re from whether in imo, abia, anambra, enugu, ebonyi etc we re all igbos nothing more nothing less. u re first of all an igbo before being an anambrarian or imolite.

sincerely i dont think this is the right thing to do. we re already losing the battle if we can not fight from a common front. i think this is more of personal concerns that can be addressed in an executive meeting with all concerned, unless such has been done and it did not yield any positive result. in that case to your tent oh isreal

DailyNews: Sure you have a chance too. But I hope you are not just ready to fund, but also ready to effectively manage the business? If yes, then try this:

1. Choose a company name- e.g. Chyseth Drills, Chyseth Tech, Chyseth Oilserv, etc

2. Choose the kind of service you would love to render; you can research on this to ensure that you make the right choice

3. Talk some technicians you know if they can work for you on contract base. Talk to welders, good carpenters, architects, civil engineers, mechanical technicians with other good skills like- PDMS, AutoCAD, Autoplant, etc

4. you will need a legal person to act as your company secretary, and you will also need a smart lady, maybe one who studied business admin or any other financial management course.

5. You will need effective marketers, maybe you can utilize I.T students with time

6. register your company name with CAC, open a corporate account, and try working with microfinance banks, get the DPR certificate, and maybe start small, you can start with diesel supply within your vicinity and minor construction works to build your company profile and grow your bank account so it can be running and active to give you an edge when seeking for contracts

7. you can also get experienced hands from this forum....you can talk to seun on how to publicize your search for workers and partners.

most and generally, this is likely caused by negligence of staff in switching off every of their office appliances, sometimes when i pass through some offices in the night and i see electrical gadgets showing lights, i just wonder why folks cannot afford to turn off office equipments before leaving from the office. some base their excuses on work overload, but what excuse can you advance that will cushion this kind of incident.

sometimes i just wonder why some people have allowed religion to so swallow their common sense that they no longer see reason in anything except through their religious eye glasses.

My Imo state, is the pride of the eastern heartland. there is no state without flaws, the issue there is, when compared with its strengths does it come out positive? in this case, i say yes it surely does. All the eastern states are good, we are brothers, but there is this thing that makes imo special, maybe that is partly the reason why their dowry is very expensive than that of other states. one of it is that we strive to be self reliant. am sure you would have noticed it among folks living around you that are from the state, we love education,entertainment and more over, we are peace loving people

i used to think that in politics, there is no permanent friend or permanent enemy but permanent interest. otherwise, how can i explain this man if after calling Buhari an old politician along side El rufai, still goes ahead to accept being a running mate to the old man. now to this case, i say, my dear MAN OF GOD, do not approach politic with bitterness, there is no guarantee yet that you will be any better vice president than the person already there. pray for them like the bible admonishes us which is what you preach.

my brother, i would not have said it any better. many times i would be tempted to record our discussions with my phone because am so sure the it wont be the same thing the next time we will be discussing it.

Anyway, I have worked in just a few places. At the final stage of my UBA Plc
interview, there were only two people in the room, immediately I walked into the room. One of them, immediately ask me' haven't I met you here before?' I quickly answered him no sir. The other man then ask me. What is your surname, I told him. He then called one man that share same surname with me which he said was once a minister of the federal republic of NIgeria, I told him I have not heard such name before. The man was like, are you sure, this is your surname and you don't know the man I just mentioned, I was beginning to be embarrassed. Then they now offered me to sit down for the interview proper.
First question: young what are doing here, you are supposed to be serving (NYSC). I answered him that I will soon be through
Second question: you wrote here that you are a chartered accountant, how come ? I answered him that I did ATS etc etc I got the job anyway but only stayed for one week. I had to leave because their pay package was not ok for me

The place am working now, I went for the interview sick, infant the sickness helped me secure excuse from my office. The greatest which am sure all of us that came for the interview had was trying to understand what the Expatriate was saying.

What helped me was that I try' to pre empt what I thought his questions were. I thank God my intuition never failed me. In fact in between the interview, the country finance director told me that she was the only accountant in the panel that I have to rephrase some of the answers I gave them so that others persons in the panel can understand too. Long and short of the story. Am over one year there and counting.

my own, like Jarus, i got my confirmation some months back. now am on leave but i cant go because am still the one signing office cheques. am just wondering why they approved the annually leave for me when they know that they will not allow me proceed on the leave.

honestly i don't understand this people and their office politics style, am so bitter for such a high level betrayal from somebody i have always helped as a brother in the office.

if you think am not saying the truth just try it out yourself, divulge classified official information to a brother in your office maybe because you want to help him with it and see what happens later.
