it is well |
Capt. Cavey:my brother such is what i have to go through every day in the office, most of the times, i have to take up their roles so that mine can move forward, i have come to take it that such things are obtainable in most work places as you can not disssociate human relations from places of work, no matter how professional, the place looks like. |
anyway, it depends on the course you read in school, like for me, i read accounting. i qualified an ACA,and am working with an NGO. all i did was enroll for an Msc because i still want to get a Phd sometime soon. my advise for u is go for a professional certification (but like i said, it depends on the course u read or want to try out) unless you re planning of leaving the private sector for NNPC or something close to it, then i can suggest you try out Msc. you can as well ask some good friends of yours that have excelled in the career line, i think the stand a better chance to advice u on the best that is required in your industry. i can only advise u based on my experience in the aid sector. Peace |
i feel u re active in politics, u can communicate well, u have passion for it, see if u can give a try sometime in the future. think about it. ogugua88: Thank you |

FreeGlobe: I cant stand this hypocrisy, forgiveness is alien to this issue on ground and nobody should want us to pretend nothing ever happened. I maintain that everybody has a right to his/her opinions. You cant tell somebody to change her poor ideologies because of an office, albeit a cyber office. If you are telling us to forgive and allow somebody that uttered and still uttering iddiiotic statements against igbos to lead igbos, why was okija juju disqualified, why was he not also forgiven. I guess its about personalities and bias, one is a moderator, the other not, one is a female, pointb is male. would you also offer the same position to almajiris like Alh harem, coogar, illegunboy, desola etc if they apologize for their tantrums at igbos and claim igbo. we cannot be forced to believe anybody is igbo online, we only know through your posts. My brother you don't really need to cry so much for this. You have made your point, but I think you re too big as to start crying marginalization already when we are on a platform of reform. You can see, the whole essence of our input is to have a working document that will encapsulate the duties and if you like, the roles of whoever will lead this learned and aggressive Igbos on this forum. Mind you, it is always said that when purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable. I hope you will join the team of builders and not destroyers. Please Umunnem , let us not be destructive in our criticism, as this is just an online platform, we are not dragging land here. Bikonu |
any way the all political lessons to be learnt by all intending politicians. i think one of the high points here is the unfortunate crashing of the app software. i can only say, its an act of God |
if u re an intolerant person, biko i think u hv no business in leadership, please say nothing if u hv nothing nice to say to me. i already have enough office wahala, don't more to me. when Barrack was ask his opinion about Nicki Minaj calling him a bitch while declaring for republicans, he simply waived it by saying that leadership has taught him to overlook insults and move on with his life. he didnt start by telling them about irresponsible Nick Minaj is or more so try to curse the day she was born. GROW UP MY GUY

advocate666: Makes no sense as worse could be said in an euphemistic way.i thought by now, you would have been gentleman enough to apologize and revert that statement. however you address it, whether euphemistic or outright, it is distasteful and worthy of an appropriate sanction. |
PointB: I like the idea of profiling each poster. But the question is what if the poster has made very few comments that it becomes difficult to read/profile him? Do we need to have a minimum number of post before someone is even eligible to stand for profiling? And what exactly should the 'profiler' look out for in comments of a potential nominee or nominator? At what point should we decide the poster is not eligible to nominate or be nominated?i still think profiling is a better option here. if the person is passive poster, then he or she should not have any business contesting, the person can at most be allowed to nominate and vote for whoever is nominated. if am right in my understanding, the essence of the leadership position is to get somebody that ensure an effective image laundering of the igbos as well as engage in other informative and educative discussions that bother on our general cause of life, if the person in question is a passive poster, how then can he or she perform these roles. additionally, if any poster is profiled and found to be abusive in nature through recurrent posting of such, he or she should in anyway be allowed to hold any post as such leaders that will be elected are supposed to be models that we can be associated to as a people. Thank you |
ujchief: Still on nomination issues...advocate666: Shame on you Ogugua88. Cursed be the day you were born. Cursed be the breath that kept you alive after coming out the womb. Cursed be everything you touch in this world. May you stay barren and not bring another accursed entity into this world. May you have no peace, no quietness, no rest but only turmoil. May the igbo you hate so much call upon you, assail and inflict your worst imaginable iniquities on you the next time your cursed legs touch igboland. the above is some of the things that caveat is there to cushion. |
thank you sir for your well articulated questions, i think some of these questions does not have definite answers, but can be overcome as we encounter them. what i believe is important here is the online profiling on whoever is nominated to serve the interest of all of us on this online forum. whether the person has all it takes to lead a pressure group, because i understand that what is causing the present hitch is the fact that some persons are mistaking pressure group leadership qualities for general leadership qualities. thank you. The question is how do we prevent the wrong people from nominating our Eze? How do we prevent getting the wrong persons nominated? How do we check/prevent/punish nomination from multiple ids, and how do we disqualify a nominee? These are few questions I would like us to answer. And of course we can add our own question.[/quote] |
that is a great move. am totally in support of it. ACA no be beans. u wan try? *winkx* |
lolzzz guy if u re igbo, then i have a problem with u, if u re not, then i can transcribe for u. when bh commander issues his verdict to all of us, he doesn't consider the fact that, not all of us can understand hausa/fulani hercules07: Make una speak English nau, some of us following this thread do not understand Igbo and we are not ready for google's butchering of your language while translating. |

sometimes you just say it to assuage the feeling of your partner and don't always believe that because it is right in your eyes, makes it right with the other person. i think these are some of the little things that build a richer life in a relationship. i don't used to do this before, but i now consciously remind myself the need for it, so that people around me can flow with me. |
congratz... you have not replied my tweet. lol ogugua88: Oops. I've been posting in the other thread. Let me move my comment here lol... |
what a touching speech! if not now, ultimately this dream will come to pass. i just weep every time i remember that Zik literally begged this people to join this country and today they wont let us go and sort ourselves out |
i just read this news with great disgust. what is really wrong with this country, somebody says he is tired of your country and you are furious about it. BOKOHARAM is killing us. you have not arrested them, u re still telling us to go about our normal businesses, while people demonstrating peacefully for their self determination is being arrested. i can see Nigerian government only listens to violent separatist and not peaceful agitators. one day, if not not then ultimately the land of the rising sun shall rise again, am just sorry for Chime Sullivan, anyway this is his last tenure, otherwise it would have told on him, let him ask Udenwa for tutorial. COME BIAFRA COME!!! COME BIAFRA COME!!! COME BIAFRA COME |
some people re good with making jest of those that have gone out of their way to even help. the likes of coolFM radio presenter Freeze or whatever he calls himself |
the Orubebe that i know have not even distinguished himself in Bayelsa, honestly i was thinking that this presidency will get somebody that is rather a technocrat that knows his onions to man that position, its just another unfortunate appoinment from an unfortunate president |
President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed Godswill Orubebe as the new Power Minister. Reuben Abati, the president's spokesman, said this on Wednesday. Mr Orubebe was the former minister of the Niger Delta ministry. The president also made a minor change to his cabinet. The president swapped the Minister of State for Power, Gauis Dickson, with the Minister of State for Niger Delta, Zainab Kuchi. The change takes effect from next week, Abati, the president's spokesman said. The president is yet to give reasons for the reshuffle. |
for me i think, 30 is ideal for a man to marry. am doing very well by God's grace, am waiting for my 30th birthday to settle that matter meanwhile am seriously searching for that one because 2 years is not far from here.Emmy9ite: young money, cash money! |
i am of the firm believe that a man should not rush to marry if u re not financially stable to fend for atleast two persons. there is no need bringing somebody into your life to come and suffer for your financial consequences. no doubt some people will argue that what if the lady is financially stable to take care of the family.it does not ultimately favour the man in the long run. i strongly believe that the best time a guy can make money is when he is below 35 or un married. once u re committed in marriage, you can only start consolidating and not breaking new grounds. my 2cents |
Thanks my dear, to get another job is not really a problem for me. i will plan towards it soonext. Dimples 316: What do I think? I think you need to bounce and make it snappy, call one of those companies who made you an offer and see if its still available.Your immediate boss who wants you to stay, is not the only one who has a say in the matter and I doubt if she will be the final authority. |
am due for confirmation for the past 5 months now, my boss have done my appraisal which was good and sent to the head office, my technical line manager in the head office, did her own which i suspect was not too good as she didn't copy me in her own mail. i have expressed my worry to my boss over my not being confirmed for months now. she keep assuring me that i will be. that i should not worry, since my salary is coming and that my salary was increased when other people's own was increased also. i have had opportunities to leave here. in fact, in one occasion, my boss literally begged me not to accept an offer, that she will help me secure my confirmation. i have tried to forget this confirmation thing as it was really affecting my work. now that i read this article, am beginning to be worried again. guys what do u thing |
i read this story and i cant help but weep for my dear country. how is it that we re so blessed for with foolish and very very self politicians that are always happy to truncate every opportunity that will improve this country. am still wondering what gives us the ground to keep saying Nigeria is a great nation. it is well. if Richard Branson will make such a categorical statement, tell me what will be the confidence of an entirely new foreign investor coming into this dead country. no wonder its only foolish and jobless Indians we re only able to attract. |
i cant stop laffing |
i have always said this, how come the likes of unity bank survived the CBN liquidity test of these banks and the likes of oceanic and intercontinental did not. if SLS has nothing to hide, why dont he submit his examination upon which his sack of the bank MDs was based. it is just unfortunate that in this country, people only examine critical national issues on the bases of ethnicity. Nationalising those three banks killed them even before they opened for business. someday somehow, ethnicity will die and we will once again see national issues objectively. |
this story is becoming more interesting. guys whats your op on this |

meanwhile am seriously searching for that one because 2 years is not far from here.
