European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Chelsea's Manager, Scolari Has Been Sacked! Who's Taking Over Now: by cibilola(f): 7:39pm On Feb 09, 2009 |
yep yep, another Chelsea Manager gone! Luiz Felipe Scolari has been sacked by Chelsea My opinion, well, he wasn't the right guy for the job to begin with but at the same time Chelsea is not known to nuture talents like Arsenal or Man U. Also, the guy has no experience of the Premier League. I miss Jose Mourinho , he was special and the right dose of discipline that the team needed Assistant coach Ray Wilkins will take charge of the team on a temporary basis till they find a new manager The question will Chelsea still win any title at all this season? |

Family / Re: Ive Moved Out At 16! by cibilola(f): 7:40pm On Jan 26, 2009 |
@poster I kind of understand where you are coming from but it is not advisable to move out at that age. You will have to endure WHATEVER it is that is giving you excuses for an early exit out of mumsy's house ok! didnt say it is easy. oh, , lest i 4get don't move in with a boy (best friend or boy friend). They only have thing to offer. Once they have their fill, they will look for a fresher meat (don't mean to be rude) so be a nice young lady and go back and enjoy mumsy's trouble for a while. i'm sure u will be cool |
Politics / Re: Obasanjo Is The Worst Thing That Happened In Our Political History by cibilola(f): 10:25am On Jan 17, 2009 |
B O S S, Obasanjo did not introduce mobile phones 10 - 11 after 1999. Are you living in the future u also talked about kidnapping, here in the UK and Europe, it's the order of the day. It always happen, ppl disappear and die. So if they are kidnapping the oyinbos, it is not unusual AT ALL!! Get a grip B.o.s.s, push the sentiment aside. Naija was in a mess before Obj's reign but made slightly better when he was there, Sadly, there will always be corruption in Nigeria, people will always go missing or get kidnapped etc. but believe me when i say this, It is not the fault of Obasanjo! Look more closely at the ex-presidents and u will find the worse one that you are looking for. FULL STOP |
Politics / Re: Obasanjo Is The Worst Thing That Happened In Our Political History by cibilola(f): 7:53pm On Jan 16, 2009 |
dont worry guys!! YARADUA will go, don't be to naive to think that Obasanjo personally dragged Yaradua to the presidential sit some silly majority of Nigerians disappointed themselves by voting, and ofcourse there are 'long legs', bribery etc, i insist i dont like the mango-head anymore better than you do but he did good things in Nigeria, sry |
Politics / Re: Obasanjo Is The Worst Thing That Happened In Our Political History by cibilola(f): 2:55pm On Jan 16, 2009 |
it's about time we wake up from our slumber and put our differences aside! Obasanjo was not great BUT he achieved what Abacha didnt and what Yar a dua wouldn't, Besides we all know Nigeria and our love for money, it's not just a leader's downfall!!! everyone suffers from it |
Politics / Re: Obasanjo Is The Worst Thing That Happened In Our Political History by cibilola(f): 2:41pm On Jan 16, 2009 |
B.O.S.S.: rightfully said! are some of us so quick to forget the state the country was in under the reign of Abacha? surely Obasanjo was not worse than Abacha, or was he? |

Politics / Re: Obasanjo Is The Worst Thing That Happened In Our Political History by cibilola(f): 2:17pm On Jan 16, 2009 |
GUYS!!! Obasanjo was not a fantastic president, (true) but don't let his physical ugliness and fiscal policies over-shadow the other things that he achieved for us, (i am not going to be popular for saying these) Obasanjo literally cleared the debt he owed to the West making Nigeria the first African country that have cleared the money they owe the Western world. ($32 billion in total) I believe it is also under Obasanjo's rule that mobile telecommunication was made easier. As simple as it may sound mobile phones have made communication easier in Nigeria since NITEL decided that they were a total f*ck up. Tourism also boomed under his reign. For the first tim Oyinbo's decided that they could visit Nigeria without always poke-nosing into our oil, Mind you I don't like the guy at all, so consider that before you blast me with "uncivil" comments |

Religion / Re: Your Favourite Bible Verse by cibilola(f): 3:04pm On Dec 02, 2008 |
jer 1:12 (kjv): Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. jer1:12 (niv): The LORD said to me, "You have seen correctly, for I am watching [a] to see that my word is fulfilled." I really like the NIV translation b/cos it puts it in plain english that all the prophesies in the Bible, God will see to it that it becomes fulfilment in our lives. So, when you declare those words from the bible such as 'you shall not be barren', 'no weapon formed against you shall prosper' etc; say it with the belief that God will fulfill His words. He has done it before, He will do it again!!! Blessed be His name forever |

I love you Lord, and I give you all the glory and adoration!!! There is no one like you. Jesus, I will like to use this opportunity to pray the victims in Jos, Plateau State. Let your peace reign over the area, Lord. Show yourself mighty in this situation. In Jesus Precious name. Amen. |

funkilicious: yeah the ceremony will be in church oh!!! but not mine b/cos the rules of my church will not accommodate him at all 1. doesnt go to church 2. not born-again 3. not a church worker e.t.c (these are just the basic of rules the church has set us) there are other rules like; a. he doesnt spk in tongue b. he doesnt pay tithe c. he has not filled the membership form for our church i've mentioned it to him, he said he is willing to try out a few churches before he chooses one hurrah!! my only satisfaction is that his character puts some 'christian brothers' to shame, |
