i think using credit card for offering is laughable. . . "credit" in itself means you do not have the money or the money you are apparently sowing does not infact belong to you!

christians should at all times be mindful when giving offerings. . . i feel very uncomfortable when i go to churches and i'm giving an envelop for me to fill out my credit card details. On principle, i don't do this. If i don't have the money, God will not be offended!

It is not all the time that the first child comes out as AA, my hubby and I are AS. Our first child is AS. I did a test when I was about 13 weeks pregnant and found out that the child is going to be AS. We are praying now that our next child in future will be AA or AS

well, you will be surprised at the most trivial things that causes arguments in a marriage. . . sleeping positions, how the toothpaste tube is pressed, who has the head of fish, who watches what at 9pm etc, It's madness, but it happens even to me, I tend to argue about silly stuff. . . weird, but makes marriage interesting i tell you! cheesy

It is sad to conclude that the contributor of the above topic belongs to a desendant of the under class of Nigerian economic migrants that were smuggled abroad via a scrutum sack. The individual in question is bereft of a gumption, hence can not use their low IQ to decipher a fictitious scenario from reality. Yep, still trying to get through to Virgin the whole morning! as i am typing these, i'm still on hold for 20 mins now. I hope i get through soon! It is also very discouranging that UK airspace is closed till 1am Sunday morning. I bet before that time, they will move the restriction further for another day. . . na wa oh! ok, my flight to naija is defintely cancelled now sad can't travel tonight. i have tried calling virgin to re-book, can't get through to them. i was on hold for 45 mins! my uncle is due back from naija on sunday. . . i doubt he will be able to fly, and he needs to be back for work on monday. my grandma that i am meant to visit is not happy, neither am i oh! sad so many plans come to nothing, man proposes but God. . .

i really do not like talking about men of God but i can't ignore this thread in regards to Oyedepo and Jnr. Oyedepo. So tell me, did God call all of Oyedepo's children? Because from what i know, Oyedepo Jnr is pastoring London branch when there were other pastors there from the beginning who are older (not just in age but wisdom) than Oyedepo Jnr. I have also gathered that Oyedepo's second son is going to (if not already) pastoring a branch in the US. As if that is not enough, his female children are known as Lady so-and-so, o(one would ask, are they female pastors in the making??)

From what I see, church is a family business, when God calls father, God also seem to call son(s). They want to continue with the business after one generation is over, which is not a bad thing, but at least they should not deny it anymore. PRAISE THE LIVING GOD!! and stop deceiving yourselves

Whether you believe in the word of God or not, you will be judged by the word of God as stated and meant by God, not by your own interpretation.
If you want to go to Hell first before you can believe it, go ahead but take note that there will be no second chance to make amendment.
Believe or not to believe, the race to heaven is an individual and a personal race. every person will stand before the judgment seat of Christ and be judged by the Word, not by the comments and interpretations on this thread.

I really cannot believe that this topic is still being discussed and that people are still of the view that wearing trousers is a one-way ticket to hell!

It is true that in the old testament, the Bible says that women should not dress like men and vice versa. Ladies and Gentleman, i pray we open our spiritual eyes and read the message that is being passed across in that verse in Deut. The problem the Bible is obviously trying to avoid is a situation whereby we cannot tell the difference between a male and a female. But then we run into an even bigger problem, how about women in the army, navy or airforce, how about women that carry out jobs where they have to climb up and down ladders, do we now tell them to swap their trousers for skirts or better still wrappers? Have you thought about women living in Russia where temperature could dip to -10 degrees or even less, how on earth do you expect them to survive in such a climate wearing a skirt.

I have seen women that wear skirts in our country and they are far worse than ladies wearing trousers. Their skirts are so tight or the slit is so long you can almost see her bottom. At the same time, i'm not saying a woman should wear provocative trousers, no. Wear nice trousers with nice tops, look feminine but don't try to make others sin by looking at you.
So please people stop this debate about trouser wearing or skirt wearing, let's concentrate on more important matters. I personally will be very surprise if God send anyone down to hell because they have put on trousers. Surely the God I serve is not that nasty!!

The word trouser is not stated in the Bible plus, if you are going to adhere to that make sure that you make sacrifices of pigeons after having your monthly period if you are a woman or if you are a man, do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip of your beard or better still, make sure you do not wear an item of clothing that is made up of more than one material ie. wool and silk together.
Hypocrite you are,  i bet you have committed one of these sins,  you shall therefore go to HELL!!ode!

you guys have not said something here oooo. . . how about underpants? excluding boxers and thongs, g-strings. But normal pants (pata n la abi pata alhaja) for men and for women look alike. So it most be a sin to wear pants then or you risk going to hell!! grin grin

at poster, you may not like my response, but here are the things you can do. . .

1. It's your house, you have a say on who should come to visit you. i.e, tell pastor that you do not want to see him anymore! angry

2. are you still going to the same church as the pastor? well, you could consider changing your place of worship. besides there are churches everywhere and God is Omnipresent!

3. sit down with your wife (or lie down) and discuss your concerns. If you really want to know all other secrets (i'm sure she would have plenty) tell her to spill the beans. You need to let her know that she needs to be more open and straight forward in the future.

4. also, i don't think you are entirely free from sins of all sort either, so you do not need to crucify her because she has slept with another man before you.

Lesson to all, you are not going to get the best girl or woman for marriage in the church. I hear of this case everytime. I see ushers in the church and the way they talk to pastors, you will know that they is something fishy going on,
