Religion / Re: Have You Noticed All The Women Accusing Suleiman Are Into Acting/showbiz? by CICONTOP(m): 6:00am On Jan 24, 2023
Goldmynemaniac:
Have you noticed that all the women alleging things against Suleiman are into acting/showbiz?

From the first accuser, Stephanie Otobo, to the latest,Halima Abubakar, they're all into the acting and showbiz industry.

I'm not defending anyone but just find the probability of this coincidence being innocent highly unlikely.

Back in the days of Archbishop Benson Idahosa, an actress was paid to hide in his hotel wardrobe, in a city he was visiting, to take compromising pictures of him while asleep. All without his knowledge but it was foiled when she started burning up in the wardrobe she was hiding in.

If I wanted to sell a lie, an actist would be the perfect pick to play the role convincely.

Why are these women not also coming out about politicians and business people they've affairs with if there's no satanic agenda to this to 'accuse the brethren'? Or do they mean they've never slept with anyone else?

If yes they ever slept with another man, why is Suleiman's own worth revealing and not the others? Could it be cause he's a man of God, and as such, his reputation is of great consequence? Most likely also because there is inducement.

I'm not saying Apostle is innocent though. Only God knows this.

#Thinklets

You posited some points. There could be an undertone to this.

Honestly the things we read these days! See ehn, the reason why God had to discipline Adam in spite of his giving a reasonable escuse was because Adam was a weak man.

If I were you, I will send her packing immediately by throwing her things over my fence and notifying her people that their daughter is no longer with me, as she loves prostitution more than marriage.

That extreme action ehn will place every soul attached to her including herself on guard. She will not just delete all the social media accounts while on her knees (when we go to settle again in her father's house), but she will swear never to use social media again, willingly.
Ladies disrespect and hate weak men. Stand your guard and take charge.

You do have a serious point their. FG is definitely not wrong here.
Authority1o1:
Okay...

To add, Meta seriously needs to review its privacy and advertising policy. I'd not prejudice the FG on the precedent of their Twitter ban because truly, these American companies exhibit their authoritarian control of people's information by incorporating their devices and sites with technologies that steal your information in the background while letting you believe you're in control by fronting their phony 'privacy control' action.

The adverts that you see pop up on your phone or when using the internet are suggested by your usage history and preference.

For instance, even though I am keen about politics, I almost threw up when an ad brought up the face of Tinubu with a 'vote for the right man' tag on it. I lost appetite for the evening meal before me while being thankful that no child was looking at my screen.

I can't handle convulsions.

MANCHESTER UNITED return for their first Premier League game in a MONTH when they face rivals Manchester City in a huge derby.

United have played twice in the Europa League since - losing to Real Sociedad and beating Sheriff Tiraspol.

But Erik ten Hag's rejuvenated side head into this Manchester derby high in confidence in the league.

United have won their last four Premier League games in a row.

Though champions City have carried on their form from last season, and are yet to taste defeat in the league this term.

Marcus Rashford is set to hand United a huge boost with the in-form forward back in training.

However, Ten Hag and City counterpart Pep Guardiola suffered injury blows in England's 3-3 draw with Germany in the Nations League.

United captain Harry Maguire is set to be sidelined for around two weeks with a thigh injury.

He played on despite the issue to see out the full 90 minutes at Wembley on Monday but was later spotted limping away from the stadium.

While City centre-back John Stones was forced off in the 37th minute with a hamstring injury in the Wembley draw, and is a huge doubt for the weekend.

Man Utd is going to surprise everyone today. it will end in their favour.

This reminds me back then in 2014 when I was in FUTO, a tree in the campus one day mysteriously starts gushing out water.

People surrounded the tree to get a bottle of the water. Many took their ATM cards there to pray. People were drinking it seriously and taking home for their families.

Members of the All Saints Chapel (which is very close to the tree) started to use the opportunity to invite people to their church.

Later it was discovered the the root of the tree broke into an underground water pipe, as a result, the movement of the water was obstructed and the water started flowing from the tree.

Nigerians and Spiritism sef...

No wonder fake Pastors, Imams and prophets are cashing out massively in Nigeria...

Politics / Re: What I Noticed Today When I Observed Public Waste Bin In Less Than One Hour by CICONTOP(m): 8:10pm On Sep 18, 2021
PlanToSucceed:
What I noticed when I observed public waste bin in less than one hour.

Witnessing the unfortunate situation today reminds of palliatives looting from various warehouses during #EndSARS last year and Lai Mohammed and Femi Adeshina later came out to say even though Nigerians were seen scampering for food items does not mean any Nigerians are eating from the waste bin. Today, I have a proof for them and their APC government.

So I left house this morning to meet someone who had promised to link me up with someone who can help my unemployed status. Having reached the place early enough, I called to notify but I was told to hang on there and I found a place and sat down.

Looking around, I noticed a public waste bin and in no time, condemned iron pickers with their truck entered the place and ransacked everywhere in search for iron and other condemned household items. While they were still there, some kids presumably homeless joined them in search for rotten food. I could see them picking things from the bin and directly into their mouths and until no other to pick again before they left. Just as though the bin has regained its freedom from the attack of the street urchins, immediately, I saw an elderly woman ransacking the same bin in search for woods presumably to be used as firewood (a kg of cooking gas now is N600 and Kerosene N450). While she was still trying to pick her interest, a man with wheelbarrow pushed into the place with a heap of cartons/paper materials. He parked and ransacked the same bin for cartons and any paper material thing. He greeted the elderly woman and they both had conversation which I really didn't know what they discussed before they finally left together.

As all these were happening, I had no choice than to still wait for "my helper". Before I knew, another set of women came to visit the same bin. These ones, their interest was on plastic bottles and nylon/waterproof materials. They picked as much was available before they left.

Not long from then, a new visitor to the bin was another child in search for rotten food not knowing early birds have already taken all that were available. I felt so bad and disturbing seeing what was going on there so I was eager to leave the place. Just then, the person called me that I should be going back to my house that the appointment can no longer hold today.

As I made move to pass the bin, the underage greeted me and added "Oga abeg help me with N50 make I take buy something chop". I felt pity for him. This boy is too young for this. Ideally, he should be under the care of his parents. Anyways, even though I was left with only my transport fare, I couldn't pass and I gave him N200.

Wow!!! Honestly I left the place very disappointed and broken down physically and mentally.

Disappointed due to the cancelled appointment and mental breakdown due to the gory site of where some Nigerians now resort to sourcing for means livelihood. Indeed, IMO, this country is a terrible place. It's structured to favour very few and that is why we are still the way we are today and until normalcy and sanity is forcefully returned by eliminating those who have spoilt and reduced the country to this mockery stage, I see no changes where some Nigerians would not have to sleep with empty stomach and start a new day by picking things from waste bins while others spend public funds sleeping in world best hotels in and outside the country.

As I'm typing this, I can't tell how many other persons have continued to visit the same waste bin afterwards and other waste bins in search for source of survival. Rather, this has forced me to ask myself, is this the dream of the founding fathers of Nigeria? Unemployment? Poverty? Frustration? Sourcing livelihood from thrash bins?

I rest my case!!!

It is quite disturbing you must say. I have personally observed this same trend too and i can tell you that it was a horrible experience. When you wake up and see food to eat, just thank God because there are somany that don't have.

Nigeria has made us to believe that our lives does not matter to the elite and the previlleged few. Well, we must strive to live. If you have, give those that don't have.

Together, we can affect humanity positively.

Omo! Ishi, if my children wan see my wedding picture, make them imagine am for their head. They should get creative abi imaginative, because I ain’t doing nothing!

Nigerian youths should start using their heads. They can organize a photoshoot if they want pictures for memory. After that, go for a honeymoon in a nearby African country. That is a whole lot better than sweating inside one hall while dancing skelewu, watching people drag foofoo, jollof rice and souvenirs, greeting unknown faces, including the ones that don’t mind tying your womb if they could. grin

I have the right to advise them because it is us they would want to sell 3yards asoebi for @ 25k. It is still us they would expect to spray them money that they can use to recoup their wedding expenses. It is us they will want to borrow money from after wedding. It is even worse when you are single because they assume you have no responsiblities. Whether single or married
they don’t spare us of their expectations. So I won’t spare them my advice!

Thank you.

You're correct. One of my friends who got married recently, nearly used me as his ATM. When It became too much, I confronted him. He told me that I don't have any responsibility yet.... Whaaaaaat?

I remember working at an oil and gas training company in Lagos. So, as the instructor and specialist in the E&P sector, I would always tell my trainees how they could be earning not less than #400k as a roustabout in Nigeria (which is true). Meanwhile, my salary was #70k.

At each training session, I would tell lies of how we helped our previous trainees secure oil and gas jobs in UAE and Saudi Arabia. Later, I will still go to the bus stop to jump into Lagos danfo with them. The funny thing is that they would always greet me whenever we see in the bus... probably to let me know that they saw me in the yellow bus. It was very embarrassing.

Working for some people is just difficult because you will have to do away with all your values and keep lying just to keep the job. I have, however, quit the job to become self-employed. embarassed

This is what I am going through at the moment. Its eating deep into my values and standards.
