PetsRe: What Do You Think Of Pets(especially Dogs)? by cigaricon(m): 6:20pm On Feb 16, 2013
I prefere cats for their gentle and neat nature. used to have one which i think lost its way into our house then, well i didn't know how. i took care of it against my father's wish and it gave birth to 3 lovely kittens. one was white another was grey and the last was brown with golden stripes. well my dad hated animals and threatened to kill them if they anoy him (by messing the compound with dungs) but these are clean animals, they never deaficate in the compound cos it was cemented, they do it out of the compound and covered it with sand. well i came back from school one day and found my cats no more, what happened? And i was told my my dad had discarded them. i cried that day. Their names werd fross-their mother, sash-the grey one ,muskey-the white one and nike-the golden striped one
i love pets, cats in paticular and i'msure to get one again

Bolushalom: OP, those are epic (european or American) movies, when I saw the topic, sound of music, gone with the wind and sense and sensibility came to mind, those are classical movies. When you talk about epic, I'm not a big fan, buh I love the Games of the throne series tho.

TV/MoviesWhat Are The Best Three Classical Movies You've Watched? by cigaricon(op): 12:49am On Feb 15, 2013
Well am not really sure what its called (I stand to be corrected) but what I mean is those kind of movies with an ancient setting where swords, bow and arrows, axes etc were used for battle.
Mine is LORD OF THE RINGS. I've lost count on how many times I've played this movie.
Followed by HELEN OF TROY and then CLASH OF THE TITANS

so over to you, what's yours? smiley
FashionRe: Best Body Lotion For Dry Skin by cigaricon(m): 12:08am On Feb 15, 2013
Dextra: I really thank you all for the precious time you squeezed out of your tight schedules to reply my mail. Thank you. I saw a previous thread on cosmetics and i got a lot of useful information there!! 2 days ago I went shopping, here are what i got: Jergens smoothing lotion, Bio-oil, Neutrogena sunblock 45. So far, i'ld started using them day and night. They feel so good on my skin and it has actually started to radiate (I have a very beautiful, unblemished skin naturally) but the only issue is that THEY ARE MAKING ME SWEAT A LOT!!! So, I;ve resolved to only use at night. this morning i used Nivea even skin + bio oil. I didn't sweat! You ladies are the best!
I use LEMON FRESH, been using it for about three years now cos its a very nice body lotion with a nice scent too. It doesn't make one sweat, infact during those days when I use PEARS chai, I only apply lotion in harmattan season but using lemon fresh now, I apply it when the sun's hotness is at its highest and it still don't make me sweat.

It also protects the skin from harmful effects of the sun. I'm fair in complexion and still maintaining the colour with Lemon fresh despite the hot sun here in the north. You can hear my aboki folks calling me 'yellow' whenever I walk down the street.

And lastly, its not expensive at all, just N700 wink

Ahhhrgh not again sad
Nairaland General"What A Man Can Do A Woman Can Do It Better" How True Is This? by cigaricon(op): 12:35pm On Feb 13, 2013
Back then when i was in secondary school, there was a time we were asked to move bricks away from the dinning hall area. We started and it wasn't up to 20minutes before the females started complaining that they were tired. So i kinda asked jokingly if they know of the saying that goes "what a man can do a woman can do better" and guess what their response was? "Forget that thing abeg" and we laughed and they were made to leave the work for the boys. So this made me wonder if the saying is realy true

What is it a man can do that a woman can do better?
During war times, it is the men that makes up at least 95% of the soldiers why aint there more women if truely they can do it better?

in building and constructions, 99% of the work force are males and you say a woman can do better what a man can do? no i dont beleive you
Even in the economy, men make greater impact than women .
I'm not a chauvinist oh but untill you prove to me that the saying is true, i think it should be "what 10 men can do, only 2 women can do it and just 1 can do it better"

So what do you think? cheesy

*runs to hide* grin
