Good day Gurus in the house please I am trying to calculate my maintenance fee but it seems I am getting it wrong. * After discount I am to pay 13500 for 2yrs course (6750 per year) * If I pay 2000 as deposit I have 11,500 left to pay * Location is London and 11,385 as living cost
Now what should be in my account? Is it 11,385 + 4750 or 11,385 + 11500
Please I need clarification. thanks all |

Franklyn4: This is my situation now: I applied for may and the Northumbria university for msc. Cyber security and they gave me a conditional offer but i want do deffer it for September to be eligible for the Postgraduate work permit.
Meanwhile, i waited for response from them on the my may offer which took upto 3 weeks. While waiting I reapplied again for September in same school and same course.
Should I meet the conditions of the may offer and differ it for September? Or Should i wait for the September offer and fulfill the conditions ?
Which is better ? Please give me your view.... I also got an offer from same school for May buy mine is with advance practice so it will be 2yrs program I am sure it will also qualify me for the psw. So did you apply for 1yr or 2yrs program? I also notice that delay in their response time. They gave me conditions which I have met and sent back to them but I am yet to receive the unconditional offer after one week and counting. |

Franklyn4: I got a conditional offer from Northumbria university London. And they are asking of my waec transcript.
Can i send a scan copy of my original waec result? Will this serve in place of the transcript? I also got an offer there too and I only submitted original waec certificate. Among the conditions I got waec was not part of it. |

rs172: Newcastle September Forensic accounting, Initially i saw a minimum of 2k pounds in the document attached to the email sent to me, but I'm confused because while searching for information about Cas from Northumbria, i saw deposit of 5,500pounds. OK. I saw 5,500 too but a friend I know schooling there already paid 2000 as initial deposit. I am looking at this may batch. Please @all I notice most people choose Jan and Sep batch. Is it that May batch has some hidden disadvantage and if so what is the reason? |

Schooling for children aged 16 and under who are in the UK as the dependants of international students is free. Good day. Please this information is very encouraging for people who want to go with dependants. Please is there any other benefits for kids/spouse? I mean benefits like free medicals. |

Good day all and happy new year.
Please I have some questions that I need to be clear about.
1. I graduated 2009 mechanical engineering and I wish to apply for masters for March batch. Will I be asked why the long gap and if yes, what us the best response for this.
2. I intend to study Information technology as masters. Will it be allowed since I didn't study any related course In IT. My second choice of course is international project management with placement. My question now is between these two courses which will be best for me i UK considering my first degree in Engineering and some years of banking operations experience.
Pls help me make informed decisions. |

LagosismyHome: One bedroom flat for a new baby is ok if you both are comfortable then why not.... but if you mean room in a shared house then that tight but still doable . It all depends on the couple Thanks to all that replied my question. God bless. Before I brought this question here I asked someone who told me that social workers abi what normally start from the hospital when the child is born to start finding out the size of the parent apartment and they will not allow if it is a one room but did not specify if it is a one room flat or shared room. |

Good day experienced people in the house. Please I intend to do my masters in the UK and also intend to go with my wife as Dependant. I will like to know if its advisable she comes immediately with me or should I wait after some months to stabilize first. Do you think surviving as new comers with academic responsibility is achievable. What should we take note of as we proceed |

BouharryArtikou: If you want to study nursing that’s ok. 34 is not a problem. Just be sure you have plenty money.
That ‘wuruwuru’ U want to do of getting MSC admission and switching after landing doesn’t make sense, even to you. It can’t work.
Whoever told you nursing sells more than engineering? The engineering is all about what you can do. UK is currently looking for nurses, so nursing will definitely give u a job. But it’s not cheap. I hope u r not thinking of going to the UK with a dependant? Please what if he is going with a Dependant, is there anything that should be looked out for or is it not allowed to go with a Dependant |

Let me ignore that your ‘faith’ and attempt to offer an answer to your question.
Your wife can ALWAYS apply for her own tier-4 visa, irrespective of your own status. Thank you very much for the answer. It will help me make up my mind. As for the faith part. Hmm my dear I need am o. Because even the wife sef never come and the admission never come but with faith Jan 2020 admission will be my batch. Thats how star do |

912: Yes I have a friend that did the same thing, who's almost eligible for permanent residence (through the 10years route). He did his master's and right after the wife did hers and after that did her PHD. Then immediately after that he did a second masters and is planning to apply for his PHD next year.
If that works out they would have stayed for more than 10years and they would be eligible for the permanent residence. Only issue is that it takes a massive toll on their finances because they were not able to secure a high paying jobs during the period and have had to use most of their savings to pay for fees.
So just so you know it isn't very easy except if one of you is able to secure a good job while the other is studying and working part-time. God bless you for clearing this for me. I know its going to be very expensive but I believe that as the bridge keep coming we will definitely cross with ease and safety. Thanks once again |

912: Jo swinson cannot win. She has got only 19 seats out of the 650seats and has to win over 320 additional seats to have a majority. I can tell you for a fact That's super impossible.
Nicolas sturgeon cannot be prime minister because the SNP is only in Scotland and do not field MPs in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. So even if the SNP wins all the seats in Scotland which isn't up to 70, they still can never win majority seats.
Jeremy Corbyn is liberal and if he wins he will surely put in place favourable immigration laws. Even more relaxed rules than what the conservatives are comfortable with. And mind you labour do not want to stop Brexit. They only want to ensure the public gets a final say on any deal that is reached.
Long and short of the whole thing is, as it stands, only two people can be prime minister Corbyn or Boris. And if either wins the new decision for the two years post study visa is not likely to change
Another correction is that the post study visa is not a proposal as you stated. It has already been confirmed by the Home Secretary, Priti Patel. So unless they comeback and cancel it, it stands Sigh of relief |

LagosismyHome: Used to be common back in them day, I think it still a valid option. Just be sure there post study first. With this election if Boris Johnson loses then most likely there might be no post study Pls I have a question concerning this. With strong faith that the post study 2yrs has come to stay. My question is. If I am studying and I invite my spouse as a dependent and before the expiration of my 2yrs post study, can she seek for admission as a masters student? And can I also in return become her dependent? Please the answer to this will make so many thoughts in my head clearer. |
