Yes oo had that too in second trimester doc said the womb is stretching to accommodate the growing baby. It was really painful all my stomach was just drawing me,after some weeks it stopped now in third trimester nothing like that again

Its like something is stretching and then pressure in abdomen as if baby's head is pushing it. Each time I run to do a scan and they say everything is fine.

I wanted to ask if anyone struggled with abdominal cramps in early second trimester... Pain around the navel and lower abdomen.

Been trying to do some googling and I see them talking round ligament pain

Dealing with it daily, especially around the navel

Its on the road beside vio office just before berger. I have used there a couple of times sha, though not for pregnancy/antenatal. They seem ok. I know a few people who had their babies there and they say they are ok

You are welcome. I think I know the hospital, is it by the roadside opposite a big, fancy hotel and it has lovely flowers in front of it.

EDD 26/27th
I remember I came to tell the group about my induction on 28th which was declined because hubby wasn't around, so hubby came back the following day and we concluded on going in the evening for induction but before that I started feeling the baby move plus the fact that the CTG and scan results came out fine and I was also scared of getting induced, so I told him that I want to wait till I go into labor naturally and I was already feeling some pains around my pubic region then, so I decided to wait.... I started feeling contractions around 1:30am which was 10 mins apart until 4am when I started having it strong and I woke hubby to start packing, we got to the hospital by 7am and I redo the CTG and it was normal, the Dr checked me and he said I dilated 4cm that I should be taken to labour ward, the Dr broke my water and they passed this drip called oxytocin and each contractions was hell until around 1pm when I was fully dilated and I thought my baby will come anytime soon not until diff Dr start coming in and they kept saying my baby's head was stucked that my cervix isn't opening for the baby to pass even after several pushes, I was already getting scared cos the baby has been going through a lot and they kept saying they can see baby's head, But there is this God sent Dr that came and started encouraging me to push at any contraction and I pushed and pushed, then he did episiotomy and he inserted one iron something like this , I don't know what it is used for sha, but I almost ran mad when he inserted it and I had this contractions and urge to push then I finally push him out at 4:22pm weighing 3.2 at birth and I felt this relief... Who said labour pain is easy... Abeg e no easy jare..... Thank God hubby was present throughout, he was crying after seeing our baby and very greatful...we came home after 2 days at d hospital and the sleepless night is another stress entirely...thanks to everyone for this journey.... Cappo, u re so wonderful, I pray all our LO grow to fulfill their destiny, to those still expecting, I pray you all deliver safely and to our TTC mums, you all shall come with good testimony soon...love you all

I'm beginning to think the itchiness is from my soap, I recently started using this Kojie san soap and I heard its good for hyperpigmentation but it's also very delicate on skin

I'm fine capo. Just registered for antenatal today and was given TT injection and routine drugs scan. The hospital just dey do me somehow.

Sorry about the TT pain. Is this your first time of using the hospital? Do they have capable hands?

Morning sickness has gradually packed its load, now replaced by catarh and sore throat.
I finally registered for ANC yesterday, am suspecting that LO will be a she coz am seeing some rashes on my face.
As for shopping I already started carting stuffs that I want to order I should purchase them next week so it can arrive on time.

Inhaling steam helps to relieve catarrh and gargling salt water helped with my sore throat. Sorry. Well done

Morning Sickness have disappeared and left me with teeth,gum and throat pain. I have not registered for Antenatal yet and have not gone for scan also, I will do that soon.

Vomiting has stopped, my only issue now is headache. Especially in the evening. Nothing much to buy except maybe hospital essentials which i will buy much later

Sorry about the headache, you should complain to your doctor so they recommend something for you

You are highly welcome when is your EDD? as for the itchiness, I have no experience in that aspect. Maybe it's part of the symptoms.

yes, it’s better than mycoten.. comes in cream and insert… ive kept the cream handy to rub whenever i feel itchiness because ttc and infection kolewerk��

Lol and I also tried something but don't want to recommend although it worked. Hydrogen peroxide as feminine wash. I add a little, the cap into a bowl of warm water and used it to wash. It worked too but Canesten solved it faster.

Yes!!! but I didnt insert it. Only rubbed on outer layers and it worked magic. Thanks mama.

Mycoten works but it is not as effective as the other cream which I got for 3k. Please don't insert since you are pregnant. Just smash and rub on the outer parts that are affected. Then wash off with warm water (put a little salt in the water)

When I had this problem in my first pregnancy, here are a few things that helped me.

1. Warm water with a little salt to wash down there.

2. Smash garlic and rub it there (very painful but instant relief)

3. And a cream, I will google the name to be certain because I am not sure now. I CAN'T REMEMBER. BUT number 2 is very effective and I learned it from a mama here in 2020
