God punish all the boys one after the other. They will die a very painful and slow death. Nonsense |
LMAO. You don win, you don happy right? Thank God! Good for you and us that the whole world knows who Nigerians are! And lest I forget you are right! Are we ok now? |
Oya Nigerians are f00ls and ediots, are you satisfied? You are a full blooded Nigerian, are you happy now? Nigerians like to be pushed anyhow, are you happy now? Does that make any difference! Oya clap for yourself, you have the last word and you won the argument! Has it affected the Nigerian on the street or changed anyone? When dem go tell you the reality on ground, you won't accept but like to argue to death. I rest my case! |
And in Egypt they just woke up one day and took to the streets abi? The action of the Tunisian man was not a contribution right? Was it not a revolution sweeping the middle east and north African countries right? Oya make we end this back and forth. If naija betta, na for my own and your own good, that's if you are truly a Nigerian because with all this your reasoning, it is really questionable |
I just wonder for his speech o! Let him start it if Nigerians will not follow. Me I don tire for talk as if all Nigerians don't know the problems of Nigeria. |
Ok if you say as individuals, dem tell you say I dey collect bribe or as corrupt as your leaders? If it is an individual problem like you said then what the hell is he asking for? What revolution? A quiet one where everyone changes individually but no physical one? Is that a revolution in your own dictionary? Abeg make we no spoil this beautiful speech by Bakare but let's look for a solution. Madam I too know all |
@Kobo if you say as individuals, are those individuals not going to form a group to lead the protest? And is the group not going to have a leader or will be protests be done haphazardly as one without focus or aim? Please your statement as far as I am concerned is as silly as some of your arguments and posts |
@phreakabit thank you so much! I really don't want insults and that's why I answered her as calmly as possible. Who doesn't know what Nigeria's problems are but who will lead this so called revolution. Will she start it from the comfort of her safe haven or come down to Nigeria and spend at least a year and see the reality on ground! I hate it when people argue just for the sake of arguing or just to show that they are superior and they end up looking so stupid. |
@Kobo I don't have the space for insults today. Let's analyse this situation together! I totally agree with what you said but you take time to analyse the average Nigerian on the street! Do you think anyone is ready? Tribalism has beclouded our judgement or didn't you see the last election! Isn't Nairaland enough proof that we will not support one another! Even if the revolution eventually succeed, which tribe will agree to step down for the other tribe to rule. Yeah the country is in a very messy state right now and we all know the problem! What I said in my first post was to echo the thought of the average Nigerian on the street who will form the majority of the protest and not the internet ones or those in diaspora. I sincerely hope you understand where I am coming from and not just insult or argue or show yourself for the sake of showing superior argument or just for the sake of doing so! |
Ok we have heard the message! Who will lead the revolution, who will bell the cat! Who will be the first to take to the streets! Will it be an hausa man, yoruba and igbo will say it's because they lost election. Will it be a yoruba man, Igbo will say, they deserted us when we needed them most and hausa won't do anything because it is not their brother who is in charge(Infidel) If it is an Igbo man, other tribes will say they have not forgotten the scars of the civil war! Tribalism everywhere! Who will lead the revolution and who will bell the cat! I need response please! |
Abeg make CPC act as a strong opposition to checkmate this government instead of going to court to challenge the outcome of the election or how it was rigged. Elections have come and gone, they should deal with the present and act as a watchdog to Jonathan in order to move the nation forward. All this back and forth will not help them as a party or Nigeria as a nation not even after the killing of corps members because they lost as if na them rigg election. When Buhari lost to Yaradua, them no kill but because na southerner, dem kill their papa. Nonsense! |
Which kind of yeye nonsense be this. It is none of her business how people pay their tithes. In the christain faith, it is between you and God and no one's business. Instead of her to fish out corrupt people, she dey talk about pastors and tithe. If she does her work well, some other things will fall in place and I really don't think that those who get their money illegitimately usually pay tithes on all the money. They only pay tithes on their legitimate income. |
@sweet9ja no mind am! Na only to insult dem know. If he is the president, help me ask am wetin e go do. Only to condemn dem know. What do you want GEJ to do to a country like Nigeria within this short time. Even a messiah cannot do much in a year. Other people don spoil Nigeria finish, una no talk, you guys have seen a cool and democratic person, negativity no go finish for una mouth. |
Nairaland just get me sick to the stomach sometimes. All you tribalistic people that can kill one another with words and even bullets if possible are criticising GEJ. Nigerians are can blame others but never themselves. If Nigeria is where it is today, its because of every Nigerian and not the leaders because I have come to realise that if the most vocal Nairalander is given the position of the President, he would do worse so stop talking thrash. Bunch of corrupt and tribalistic set people. The only people who are fee to criticise our leaders are those who are not tribalistic or praise mediocrity or accept somethings as normal in the Nigerian society. On my own part I have learned to stop criticising the government as my fellow Nigerians are as worse as the Nigerian government. Do your best and leave the rest |
I am Edo and I only learnt how to speak Yoruba because I schooled in Ife. Nobody from Edo state automatically learns how to speak Yoruba as his first or second language. You have to learn it because either you schooled in yoruba land or you live there. All these nonsense historians who have never lived or been in Edo state just talk of what they hear people say. And I still say that no Edo person can just learn how to speak yoruba like that. Also some part of Edos share boundary with Ondo state which are the Akokos. We call them Akoko-edo, so maybe those people by virtue of boundary speak yoruba and vice-versa. Please you guys should not just be basing arguments on what you hear people say By the way, Urhobos and Itsekiris are not part of Edo state. They are part of Delta but we are all from the old Bendel state. Anything aside from this na pure lie. |
I have not read in the Bible where it is expressly condemned but I still believe it is wrong. I as a woman have come to accept the fact that there have been so many things against us that I met in this world and can't change. Trying to change it is like turning the world upside down which will eventually lead to the woman loosing out in the long run. My conclusion is that it is not in the Bible but it is wrong. I wouldn't encourage any man to practice it if he wants peace in his marriage and wants to lead a wonderful life. There are many things that we term as wrong today but were not stated as wrong in the Bible. |
I think the question should be "the role of religious organisations in Nigeria. There you get to know the role they play. Whatever the religion! In my humble opinion, they have not actively carried out their duties. I can't imagine how a nation can be so religious yet so corrupt. |
@ sexkillz I am not sure you fully comprehended my first post or you may have entirely misunderstood it. You seem to be going at the OP for reasons best known to you but have you given any thought to his wife's behaviour? Now to answer your questions 1.Who needs to adjust? His wife needs to adjust because as a formerly certified moody person (am talking about me) I know what damage that can cause to relationships of any kind whether with family, friends, spouses etc After a while people just don't want to be around you because you have nothing to offer in way of companionship except a long face, a difficult attitude and an unwillingness to communicate on a sincere level. Now that's what being moody is all about and it is one of the things OP has complained of. 2. What has he done to help her? According to him he has introduced her to their neighbour so she can ease her loneliness while his at work but please permit to say that problems relating to personality, attitudes, character can only be fixed by the individual with the problem. OP's wife cries often, is moody, provokes him (in ways he didn't mention) etc etc What I hear is a woman being unnecessarily difficult without good reason I mean common this marriage is 5 months old what reasons could she possibly have to put up the attitudes complained of? 3. The poster is not happy only when he is making love to his wife pls read that the post again. He said it provides temporary relief, but his experience so far is a painful one. Further more he said after wifey spoils his day she thinks sex can bring happiness and probably make up for her attitude. Screwing has never solved issues dialogue and communication has in my world. 4. On mixing office stress and marriage stress, I hear you but his wife attitude is not the sort of stress he should have to deal with at home when this union is only 5 months old. Matters on the home front that ought to be stressing him should be gas bills, nepa bills, feeding, visiting in-laws who need to be taken care etc since there is only one source of income. I agree with you completely. I also used to be moody and learnt in a very hard way. Lost a relationship that was supposed to be perfect. I feel he needs to talk to her and make her communicate sincerly, as in from her heart. She also needs to work on herself, get her confidence level up, appreciate herself more, ses herself as a wonderful woman who can keep a beautiful home that everyone desires Men and women alike and find other ways of keeping herself busy. Like reading, doing a professional course, learning a trade like bead making, cathering, dress making or decorations. It could really help The OP also needs to man up. He is whining like a child.[/quote] |
Saw the body and brains scattered on the floor with other organs of his body when going to work yesterday. Was really a gory sight. |
Those of you complaining that this show sucks should just relax. Most of the time the people who are objective with their decisions dont vote only the die hard fans. Then if you dont vote how do u expect the really winner to emerge. In almost all competitions in Nigeria, it is always like that.People who complain and run their mouths dont vote. Next time you want someone to win, VOTE. |
see jealousy o-Olabukola and teejan |
I really dont understand when people say be wise. If they were "wise" enough would they be seeking for advice. In my own opinion, try and get first hand info from your sis as someone rightly said and then talk to him to seek help if it is true.he really needs plenty of that. Pray to God to give you wisdom to go through all this.He is ever ready to help. I pray God gives you the fortitude cos it is really a hideous matter. |
Please could someone tell me how I can get the Book, Roots. Really been looking for it and I would so much love to read it.my appreciation goes to your contributions. |
its a very big lie cos it cannot be proven biologicaly. for those having pains its nt as a result of not having s3x but another cause.go see a doctor and stop decieving the innocent girls who fall for that crap. |
Tboy1 there are some people who are very intelligent but have very distasteful behaviours like being arrongant for example. I dont think I can stand that. I still prefer someone who is well bahaved |
