I don't think the Kwarans are ready to break loose from saraki's shackles. How can one family ( Saraki) rule and dictate the affairs of a state for 30/40 years then the father pass the baton of the state to his son. They have so much improvised the state , poverty may have blinded the people to see clearly. A lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Muhammad Dele Belgore (SAN) at the weekend said he would run for the office of Kwara Governor next year, saying it was time Kwara reclaimed its rightful place as a first generation state.

Belgore commended his supporters for staying true to the ideal of good governance and community values he represents.
