I remember a year ago, MTN was criticised for "ridiculously high call tariff" due to other networks having it lower. Maybe standards changed though. Can't say |

Going through the first android thread and this comment from 2010 caught my attention ![]() I'm not sure if Android would be able to stand the test of time and attract consumers like Iphone and Blackberry is doing but, they are surely pushing the boundaries now.Who could've thought andriod right now isnt gonna be able to catch up to any of its competitor right now. not even in the next 3years!!! |
Interesting |
Seems my phone doesn't have a mass storage mode . Everything is done in MTP mode |
Pins: Toshiba satellite.it has the following features; ![]() |
greatgeo: dont go there their system is way too expensive for the budget.alienware lappy na die imagine buying a system that cost up to 1.2m u can check their website shayou don't have to click on the most expensive option at every point during customization |
1stnoble: Now u said first iPhone redefined smartphone. So therefore there was a smartphone. Guy reason well o. Na them start am? And also galaxy didn't start slow, but still they didn't start first.Uhmmm who's hating on tecno? You fail to get my point. You keep saying the low specs compared to the top dogs is due to the fact they just started out. Others had a beginning as well. Game changing ones at that My point is: the specs are due to their efforts to keep cost of production as low as possible. Why should I hate on any brand? I don't own them, do I? Neither am I the one buying. I'll get what I desire regardless of anyone's thoughts (crazy expensive or cheap) |
After how many GB did it stop? |
Torturing the non indigenous company now, are we? |
Ishilove: You are obviously not Nigerian. Obviouslyyou don enter before? ![]() Edit: Why'd they hide JAY's comment? |
1stnoble: Man u really need to know how to express yourself in places like this. Don't go about showing others your attitude.the first iPhone redefined "smartphone" so too the galaxy range didn't start slow ![]() |

Habeebpain: I believe you know it's Google that owns the nexus 10. Samsung will never advertise it as their own product.owns; made; there's a difference amigo. |
caukerzee: Head of samsungs new tablet tho.Its called ATIV Q. The specifications sent me gagathat one's a beast . When intel arrives with bay trail, these top chips will turn budget trying to play catch |
Considering this is the Xperia thread let me ask; does anyone have any information on availability of the Xperia Z Ultra? |
Microcephaly. .. a congenital defect |
You can't go wrong either way. Depends on what you value most in a phone. The One is more aesthetically pleasing though ![]() |
ibietela2: Read what you wroteI never excused anyone. I'm not a fan of droid tabs. Only ones I ever admired were the nexus 10 and the note 10.1. When it comes to tabs, apple always has it better even though Microsoft's tablet venture is about to breed serious competitors |
Here's an ARM blurb on the A7: The ARM Cortex™-A7 MPCore™ processor is the most efficient application processor ARM has ever developed and dramatically extends ARM’s low-power leadership in future entry level smart phones, tablets and other advanced mobile devices. The architecture and feature set of the Cortex-A7 processor are identical to the Cortex-A15 processor, with differences in the Cortex-A7 processor's microarchitecture focused on providing optimum energy efficiency, enabling the two processors to operate in tandem in a big.LITTLE configuration to provide the ultimate combination of high-performance with ultra-low power consumption. As a standalone processor, the Cortex-A7 will enable entry level smartphones at below $100 price point in the 2013-2014 timeframe that are equivalent to a $500 high-end smartphone in 2010. These entry-level smartphones will redefine connectivity and internet usage in the developing world.
nice |
Yes and it came out after the A8 and A9.
OKay. Was made to be a low power better performance version of A8 my bad. 8 cores at 2GHz would be new though. Let's see how it goes. |
That is not correct the cortex A7 is a fairly new ARM product spec what you are referring to probably is the ARM V7 instruction set which has been around for a while. Anyways let's see how the performance goes when its officially released.
cortex A7 is the one used as the low performance part in the bigLittle architecture of the exynos octa, right? |
stephano100: Gawwd,so dis is d spec of d almighty over emphasized Tab 3....nw i knw all sammy users are phuckin dummies...samsung don blind fold una eyes wit south korean juju walahi...because all samsung users own the galaxy tab so much for reason |
physise: what tab3 170ppi hmm i rest my casethat's where they've always shot themselves in the foot and will continue to trail behind the ipad. The only android tablet with a decent screen by them is the nexus 10 |
Its not the old chip and for an octacore I'd say 2GHz is pretty OK. Leaked Antutu scores put it in the 30,000 range, pretty kool for a budget chip.
cortex A7 is old. That's like pentium era bruv And it’s next year, who knows by then cortex A9 might become budget standard and with the coming of bay trail, it'll speed up the revolution |
Why even overclock the old cortex A7 to 2GHz , isn't that a formula for battery drain?Till there's a benchmark though, comments are kept. |
ibietela2: STOP WITH THE EXCUSESwhat am I excusing exactly? |
4llerbuntu: Nna broses, has there been any improvement in that PSP emulator thingy?I got 40fps with both GOW titles. I hate the controls though |
Fhemmmy: Ummmmmm . . . i like them cos i sell them good to Nigerians, i am not particular about the phone i usebusinessman ![]() |
