I'm not sure if Android would be able to stand the test of time and attract consumers like Iphone and Blackberry is doing but,they are surely pushing the boundaries now.

You have to leave the other manufacturers like samsung and motorola out of this now,they can't compete. Do you know how many versions of HTC phones released in the last 3months to create a mild awareness they are enjoying now?

I will ask you now, was samsung or iPhone product the first mobile phone? Did they come up with a new idea as they came? They definitely copied from another company. Sometimes we just want to wake up and get an alert of 1billion naira without starting from somewhere. Even if they copied, it must have had an agreement from the company they copied from. You never can tell, they might be working on something soon. If you read well, you will see that I said rome wasn't built in a day. Its all planning. I am a fan of tecno, no matter what I give them thumbs up.

Anyways let's see how the performance goes when its officially released.

Lord_Reed: Its not the old chip and for an octacore I'd say 2GHz is pretty OK. Leaked Antutu scores put it in the 30,000 range, pretty kool for a budget chip.

cortex A7 is old. That's like pentium era bruv . And 2GHz is much. The benchmarks weren't leaked, they alleged it was that high. No visual confirmation yet. Fingers are crossed.

And it’s next year, who knows by then cortex A9 might become budget standard and with the coming of bay trail, it'll speed up the revolution

Why even overclock the old cortex A7 to 2GHz , isn't that a formula for battery drain?
