It takes more clicks to do a google search than it takes to do a nairaland search. If they can't google it, searching nairaland is out of the question. grin

My thoughts: the ones asking unnecessary questions are too lazy to do either. They prefer to be spoon fed

3kay945: Pls, don't see it as insults, it's actually a challenge. Same thing happened to me when I got my Xperia android, I took up the challenge and stuff GOOGLE and Xda forums(more challenges here too)
But now, have being changing ROm and kernels as if na underwears. With the little I know, I can successfully unlock, root, flash on Xperia neo v, Without any errors or much difficult.

Hope those terms are not much for you to grab, I.e . root, flash etc. There are first step of learning. grin
I learnt to root the galaxy note 2 before i got mine thanks to cnet's simple tutorial. Folks these days just hate searching for info. I wonder how they would've fared if they were born when Internet access wasn't available. Having to search through catalogues in a library.

caukerzee: Tecno has not and cannot make highend smartphone and sell it 40k. Get over yourselves tecno kids. All these these devices you brag about have specs flagship users have already used and gotten over as far as two years ago. The best tecno which is the phantom A1 is not even better than the samsung galaxy s2 from 2011. Your inferiority complex is irritating. That you cannot afford it doesnt mean you should put others down to make yourself feel better.
no matter how hard you try amigo, they'll never understand

4llerbuntu: seems u have been sleeping. somebody already did. twice sef.

it was "i just bought bla bla bla device, so how do i get started. im not even sure of how to switch it off or on"
the annoying part is it takes not less than 5 clicks to post an unnecessary question while searching Google takes 2 or 3 clicks.

Leopantro: Am I allowed to answer this question?

adaobi ,welcome to the Android world.

my guess is the movies are in flv or avi format. android plays mpeg by default. install a media player like Mxplayer and use it to play the movie
my default player plays flv, avi and wmv.

Intel is going to revolutionise mobile computing I tell you grin
PhonesRe: Android, Anyone? Part II by ciphoenix: 4:32pm On Jul 03, 2013
Last week we reported on an alleged AnTuTu benchmark score of the brand new Sony Xperia Z Ultra running on the new Snapdragon 800 chipset with four Krait 400 cores wiping out the competition, including the upcoming (alleged) Galaxy S4 Advanced.

Today, a mystery Android 4.2.2 device running Intel’s next generation of mobile processors – Bay Trail – has surfaced, which blows those chart-topping numbers clean out of the water. The smartphone or tablet posted an unheard so far score score of over 43,000.

Not only that, but the unknown device codenamed byt_t_ffrd10 was clocked at just 1.1 GHz. With a maximum clock speed of 2.1 GHz, we don’t have to tell you the implications of what kind of performance a Bay Trail-powered device could bring running at maximum power. We’ll update our chart to illustrate the difference

BlackBaron: I was wrong about the size of the Note II (own one) but the Mega mid range specs looks like an asteroid in your pocket.

Its like back to the early 1990's bulky cellphones.
grin but slimmer wink
PhonesRe: Android, Anyone? Part II by ciphoenix: 12:33pm On Jul 03, 2013
Lord_Reed: hmmm maybe a little but the female model I saw holding it didn't make it seem to freakishly large and in places like Naija large phones maybe become another status symbol thingy.
I wonder how she did it though. The device is slim though, that should contribute to the comfortable feel
