This silly bickering between Igbos and Yorubas on NL has to stop. What this calls for is proper appraisal and collective condemnation of the atrocious and muderous inclinations of the Fulani herdsmen. This has to stop. |
I honestly don't know what to say here. These cases are becoming embarrassing. Govt must rise up to this challenge otherwise, we might soon get to that threshold of no return. There's actually fire on the mountain, everybody must not be watching! |
Clear pictures should be accompanying this kind of stories. We might not all know them but at least if by chance they are seen somewhere, one might be able to inform the police. Phillip Ugodaga could have sat beside me in the bus this morning without me knowing but a picture seen earlier by me would have helped. We are in information age and a lot could be done by the IT public to help our law enforcement agencies. |
As much as I would love to believe this piece, there's little evidence to show that his arrest will achieve much for Biafra. Rather, it's a setback. Ken Saro Wiwa of blessed memory was killed with the International community watching. To what end I ask? My friend, if Palestine that has been locked in battle with Israel has been at it for decades and have just made little in-road, what gives you the assurance that the 'International community' will prioritise Baifra's independence over that, moreso that the grouse is mostly political? Albeit, I'll admit possibility of being wrong but there's little evidence that such happenings help the cause of any agitation in the history of Nigeria. |
Nice one Op. Tell me, however, how do I escape Brother's Zone? ![]() |
I don't get it. What's about her lips? I mean the special thing. |
Just don't get caught committing any rubbish there. Reminds me of way back in Awo Hall. We used to call this 'Maximum shishi'. Guys can be mean! |
I don't want to believe the prison system in Nigeria reforms anybody. Most people who come out re-offend. We need to know that what takes them to prison often is not amenable to those jail terms. The earlier we recognise that this place can't hold us all together, the better for us. Death penalty for some crimes still needs to be upheld. |
Wao! Ingenious. |
omusiliyu:Na so ![]() |
Gehn-gehn! |
StepTwo:It's scrub my back, I scrub yours. Our own brand of democracy is truly 'Nigerian'. In fact, having them nominated in the first place to me has thrown spanner in the wheels of the taunted fight against corruption. Well, it remains to be seen if this 'good' gesture by the senate will be reciprocated at the 'fullness of time'. |
ijustdey:The best to do for them is to kukuma send the reappeared part to permanent resting place by radical excision. If nothing drastic is not done, giving the number of cases reported here over few days, am afraid a lot of innocent people would be sent to their untimely grave by these hoodlums masquerading as okada operators. |
We eagerly await what this 'strategic' peace deal is all about. However, any solution that allows Fulanis carry AK 47 and dagger while other citizens seen with camp knife become criminals is no solution at all. Like he has said, it calls for a holistic approach but until then sha, we can only wait and be positive. |
Dojupyo:Just love that part 'When you do that, then get ready to keep sleeping with him to keep the job'. That's just the painful truth. |
This reminds me of how things were in those days when someone definitely bigger and stronger pummels you and all you can do is say through tears 'I'm warning you, eh! Let someone tell him ooo because if I eh! Eh!' while the punishment lasts. You know their hideouts. They are attacking and killing your men and you are asking us to practically 'beg' them to surrender. ![]() |
Oooooooooooooh, how I love that word 'inconsequential' ![]() |
SeverusSnape:You dey mind him? Lies, lies and more lies. Haba!!! Why tweet their pix to debunk what wasn't there? Ohn Jonathanians called him 'monahiki'. Useless post |
Mogidi:Don't know why it has to focus on northern senators backing Saraki. What of the pawns that are serving the other powers-that-be? This is not healthy. However, there's no need for them to panic. If rules are followed, I understand the Bureau ought to point their attention to any discrepancy which they would correct. Anything outside of this would mean a dummy's prolly heading a supposed distinguished body such as the Bureau. |
Each passing day with its events suggests little hope for this country. Impunity and eye-service are fast becoming the order of the day. Where do we go from here? This is surely going to be four long years with our nation becoming theatre of the absurdities. |
Say wetin nau? My sister? Hehehehehe.... I no carry friendship reach there abeg. |
Oniranu dede. |
modelmike7:Na so. Now, he knows wetn happen. |
Hmmm..this spoilt kids sef. Ehn, she posed with your DAD's house, so? No be today people start to dey pose with other people's properties such as houses, cars, yatches etc. Wrong she claimed it to be her dad's but then, who knows? Your dad could still be her daddy na if you get my drift ![]() |
Don't understand this fixation of peeps on sex, virginity. My grandmum was a 'virgin'. It's what you will eventually lose one way or the other but does that stop you from moving on to achieving your potentials? Youths in other climes are preoccupied with inventions that are transforming the world but here we are obsessed and dissipating energy with mundane, natural phenomena! Abeg, this virginity stuff is already over-flogged. Haba ![]() |
Would anybody blame the girl for feeling traumatised. The face of the guy alone pass trauma. Beast! |
dulux07:That's exactly what she should do. Look for a way to pay him back but don't ever yield to his inordinate demand. It's even borne out of lust and not love. Your mum can't kill you if you open up to her. It can't be that much joor. What he's asking for is way beyond whatever he offered you as help back then. If he's becoming unrully, call his bluff. |
porigho: That's just the plain truth. They want us to concentrate on the specks in other people's eyes while they have logs in theirs. Nobody says they should not 'fight corruption' but anybody that approaches equity must do so with clean hands. We need them to be sincere and be SEEN to be so. |
donholy28:You mind them? Like we don't know whats-up. They have been using instruments of state to witch-hunt their political enemies. Where was CCB all these while? Oh! They just realised he enriched himself though graft right? Yes, we know Saraki is bad but this timing of their allegations is suspect and tainted with self-serving vendetta. This hand of Essau voice of Jacob anti-corruption 'fight' is quite unfortunate and discouraging. Well, one can only expect them to get even lower in their 'rofo-rofo'. Hope they prove me wrong sha. |
slap1:I just hope someone did not mistakenly served food with a shovel that was used to dig the ground for shot-put. |
Chigold101:Nice write up. Kudos |
Kelvin0:You need definition of 'lie'? Just search for APC . Don't even take them serious anymore. |
