You have said it all. If he is not qualified, he should be directed to go and sit his ass at his home in Daura. Anyone that wants to die can do so afterwards, no shaking. This country is bigger than the ambition of anyone. It is the prerogative of the courts to determine the expediency of hearing any case and not for any lawyer telling the courts how or at what speed to process applications. Making the judgements as appropriate before election is better than plunging us into post election crisis because of false hopes that might be dashed at the end of the day.
