Ask them who is WE ? You plan your protest, go carry it out yourself. Did you inform "WE" of your plans?. Besides, there was more corruption in Nigeria between 1999 and 2007. I didn't hear this WE-WE talk.

No need to swear hia abeg! You no be Naija man ? What is new with tribalism hia?

Igbo and Yoruba no go ever taste any position of influence for naija lai lai, and it is very very good until we learn something to respect each other! Since instead of working together with dem big population,na to undermine each other sweet pass.

Igbos feel dey have nothing to lose playing the spoilers their Yoruba neighbors had always played against their interest from 1960,since dem go marginalize Igbo anyhow, but as long as Yoruba is also marginalized, GOOD! Yoruba think they also have nothing to lose since dem don use trick put Obasanjo for Aso rock already. So they can wait for 100 years before another Yoruba can smell that position.I happy say northerners don see their chance to dominate forever and dem must to put more fire between igbo and Yoruba. That is why i support Naija must remain united for as long as possible,so that una go hia ram too and regret/repent of all una treachery.

Our people say the pikin wey hin father send to steal,he dey use leg scatter people door.
Bigotry must continue sha, becos na prominient Yoruba politician first use am to undermine Igbo, and Igbo no wan forgive becos Yoruba no wan acknowledge the injustice happened atall. Until Naija pipul learn the word "JUSTICE".

FreeGlobe: ABEOKUTA — The police in Abeokuta yesterday arraigned one Tunde Bamigbade, 23, before a Magistrates’ Court for assaulting a 16-year-old girl.
The prosecutor, Augustine Ozimini, said the offence was committed on Tuesday at about 7 a.m. at Isale-Igbein in Abeokuta. He said that the accused accosted the young girl on her way to school at a lonely junction and fondled her breasts.

“Bamigbade was sighted by a passerby when he fondled his victim’s breasts as she struggled with him.

“The good samaritan raised an alarm while the accused was apprehended and taken to Ibara police station,” he said. Ozimini said the offence was contrary to and punishable under Section 360 of the Criminal Code of Ogun, 2006.

He will perhaps be the last to rule a peaceful united nigeria. He probably knows it.
That is why he is trying to restructure the country and give it a chance to stay united.
Those who have been investing outside their region as if there is no tomorrow will gnash their teeth in agony when thugs take over their houses and investments when the inevitable breakup finally occur. Now all sorts of hypocrites a screaming themselves hoarse that nigeria will stay united, let see how that will happen.GEJ is nigeria's last chance.

PoliticsRe: Should Buhari Contest For Presidency Again In 2015? by cjrane: 5:42pm On Dec 06, 2012
Gen. Buhari is free to contest in 2015,i fear he will lose again because he has such bad reputation in the south. I had expected Buhari to do some reaching out to the south by taking some golden opportunities that occurred this year. Like the funeral of Ojukwu would have been a diplomatic coup on the strong hold of Jonathan in the east. Imagine if Buhari had visited that family and uttered a few politically correct statements.Like I disagreed with the method Ojukwu chose to fight for his people, but he surely was a freedom fighter for his people. The strategy of hoping on creating rancor between the SE,SW and SS in order to make them vote against themselves isn't a very reliable strategy for victory.
Buhari is more a soldier than politician,so he would always lose in any free and fair election because he does not know how to dabble into his opponents power base and try to win a few followers outside the far north. Sad but its true.

Don't beg thugs to allow you post. I am glad they are killing the site by being very tribalistic. If people don't post different opinions here, why would anyone want to come here to hear what they already heard before?

I always wondered why people like Ileke -Idi,Eko-ile and Dayokanu will have liberty to post offensive lies and open threads clearly aimed at creating more enmity between yoruba and igbo particularly and indeed other groups in Nigeria without being banned, but if you say kpim about yoruba, banning for 6 months ! Now go to many multinationalS esp in the ND you'd see lots of Yorubas in the offices, working and living peacefully. Yet if an average non-indegiene makes it on their land it is sin
It started in the north, we don't want any non-northerner in our region, yet northerners flood the south claiming to be running away from the Boko boys. Now it the turn of southwest to target other Nigerians, which is really a very good thing because it will finally force southeast and southsouth to use a broom and sweep out the parasites from their region. Let Nigeria divide if that is what it must.

PoliticsRe: JNI, CAN Clash On Removal Of Army Commandants by cjrane: 5:58pm On Dec 05, 2012
lekanolas: An Islamic organisation, the Jama’atu Nasril Islam, JNI, yesterday rejected the removal of Commandants of Armed Forces and Staff College, Air Vice-Marshal Adullahi Kure, and the Corps of Infantry, Maj.Gen. Muhammad Isa.

The group said that their replacement by non- Muslims as heads of the military formations was suspicious.

But the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, in 19 northern states and Abuja yesterday called on President Goodluck Jonathan and the military authorities to disregard JNI stand on the removal of ex-Jaji military commandants over the blasts that killed 15 Christian worshippers.

cIn a statement entitled, “The removal of the two Jaji officers” by JNI Secretary- General, Dr. Khalid Abubakar Aliyu, and made available to our correspondent yesterday, the organisation said the removal of the two officers were “rushed against the nature of military known to be careful in handling sensitive issues of national interest.”

The former commandants were removed by the Defence Headquarters following the recent Sunday’s twin-car bomb attacks at St. Andrew’s Military Protestant Church in the military base, killing at least 15 worshippers with scored of injured victims.

The Defence Headquarters had in a statement on Saturday named Maj.- Gen. K.C. Osuji as the new Commandant of the Nigerian Army Infantry Corps and Air Vice-Marshal E.E. Osim as the new Commandant of the Command and Staff College.

But JNI said the attempt to politicise the security breach along religious and ethnic divides would cripple not only the military but the nation’s security system.

The JNI statement reads: “The fact that the two officers who were swiftly removed were Muslims, and were replaced by two officers who are non-Muslims makes any discerning observer to be suspicious of the motives behind the whole exercise.

“It is our sincere concern to which we make bold to state that any attempt at politicising the issue of security in Nigeria will not only worsen our security situation but will also continue to polarise the military family and the entire security system along religious and ethnic divides, something that would not augur well for the future of our dear nation.

“While reiterating our condemnation of the blasts and emphasising the need for the immediate thorough investigations into the matter, we want to state that the immediate removal of the two officers does not speak well of the military who are hitherto known to be careful and objective in dealing with sensitive issues of national interest.

“We cannot comprehend why the use of two different approaches to addressing the same issue. Nigerians may not understand why the two Jaji officers be removed in connection to the blasts even before any proper investigation, while no immediate posting out could follow the bombings at the 1 Mechanised Division and the Police Headquarters which preceded it.

But the Northern CAN’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Sunday Oibe, blamed JNI for dragging religion into the ongoing war against terrorism.

CAN said: “If truly the respected Muslim organisation, Jama’atu Nasril Islam, JNI, said the removal of Jaji military commandants has religious motive is unfortunate because we should not drag religion into the security situation in this country.

“When former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Charles Soludo, tenure ended who is in charge now, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi? Who is the Inspector- General of Police now? Is it not Mohammed Abubakar?”

CAN added that the JNI statement on the removal of Jaji commandants was divisionary because the same group said that Boko Haram was not a religious group.

CAN, however, called on security agencies to monitor religious leaders closely.

“Those military officers posted to Jaji are they not qualified? President Goodluck Jonathan, the military should not be distracted in their efforts to end Boko Haram.

“Christians are being killed on daily basis that does not disturb JNI. JNI should tell Nigerians if they are behind Jaji military church blast if not they should focus on their religious activities for the good of humanity rather than telling military what to do,” CAN stated.

http://nationalmirroronline.net/new/jni-can-clash-on-removal-of-army-commandants/
They should watch some of those commandants. This type of strange reaction from JNI shows you some people are having nocturnal meetings with such men for some reasons.Nobody should think this type of agitation is for fun. I would not be surprised if a coup is being quietly planned with such men as potential facilitators. The Federal Government must set us an independent security outfit to monitor these men in sensitive military positions and report their activities.

olaheavy: Didn't we just show you how a very small portion belonged to the old Lagos Province while the larger parts were controlled and governed by the West? The fact is still there that, of the three regions: West, North and East, ours was the richest, most successful, most popular in the whole of Africa. I'm talking about a period when everything first in terms of development anywhere in Africa happened in the Western Region! Even the Malaysian govt. sent emissaries to learn the economic ropes from us. Did the govt. do any of those firsts in achievement for us? Heck no! Our Western Commonwealth, which was mainly through cocoa and other cash crops, was tapped into by the Sage, Awolowo. After the war, when the oil now boomed, one dumb economist by the name of Udoji couldn't think of any useful national projects to use the windfalls from the boom - alas! he simply shared the monies (I mean sharing liquid cash) among Nigerians! So, next time you Easterners want to boast that you are better in commerce and economics - you ain't shiiit but a cowdung! You parasitic dumbo elephants from the accursed East.
Blablabla... liar! I will not descend to your gutter level of name calling or cursing Yoruba.
But there are still people alive who know the history of Nigeria and how the country have been structured for our national unity.
If you like have heart attack ! The north was the richest region in the post independence Nigeria and the east was the fastest growing economically.
Nigeria had 4 regions and a FEDERAL CAPITAL IN LAGOS.The regional capitals were Ibadan for the Western region, Kaduna for the Northern region, Enugu for the Eastern Region and Benin for the MidWest region. Lagos was NEVER part of the western region but a Federal capital until 1991 when Abuja took over.
Therefore, if Nigeria must return to the regions, Lagos and Abuja cannot be swallowed by adjacent regions merely because they are closer to those regions. They should remain as Federal territories that they had always been. Unless of course Nigeria BREAKS UP,then it can be part of Oduduwa Country.
Therefore, Akhigbe is right.LAGOS and ABUJA must remain independent of tribal areas or the regions.
Please,Provide proof that Awolowo built anything in LAGOS to support the national economy.

CrimeRobbery Has Been Sustaining Us by cjrane(op): 2:17pm On Nov 24, 2012
Three blood brothers, recently in Lagos, made startling revelations when they confessed that they earn their livelihood through armed robbery. In fact, the eldest of the brothers confessed that they used their younger brother to get vital information on their victims.

Their robbery exploits were blown open recently after members of Lagos State neighborhood watch arrested them in Otto-Awori Local Development Council. The three brothers identified as Kabiru Sesan,25, Toheed Sesan, 23, and Femi Sesan, 19, were alleged to have robbed one Mr. Chude at gun point who reportedly just arrived the country from a trip overseas.

One locally-made pistol was said to have been recovered from the suspects while they were sharing their loot in an uncompleted building at Etigbi Community in the area. Sources said the suspects got information about the arrival of Mr Chude through his female house help (name withheld) who happened to be the girlfriend to one of the suspects, Femi.

*The 3 armed robbery brothers

Their eldest brother, kabiru boldly told Crime Guard when he was cornered at the office of the vigilante group that robbery has kept food on their table since the death of their parents. He also confessed that they were the brains behind the incessant robbery attacks within Etigbi community stating that he asked his younger brother to go into a relationship with their victim’s house help because they knew he is based in United States of America and normally come back with a lot of money.

The younger brother, Femi, however told Crime Guard that he did not know that his brothers had evil intention when they asked him to go into relationship with the housemaid. According to him,”I was surprised when my brothers told me to go into that relationship with the maid, and I never had the knowledge that my brothers were armed robbers.

I was so surprised, even when I asked my brother why? he said that I should just do it. There was a day my brothers told me to get information on when Mr Chude will return back to the country. I was confused but I did as they said. That was all I knew until I got a call from an anonymous person to come to Shibiri round about within the community, on getting there, I was handcuffed by the vigilante group.”

The leader of the vigilante group, Alhaji Saka Owoyami, narrated how they rounded up the three brothers to Crime Guard. “We got a call from an unidentified person who said he heard a gun shot from a flat nearby. We quickly went into action but before we got to the place, they had disappeared after shooting one of the residents.

We started combing the area and ended up fishing them out in an uncompleted building where they were busy sharing their loot. After interrogations, we were shocked to discover that they were blood brothers. They named their younger brother as their source o f information. We swiftly went into action and arrested him and after interrogation, we handed them over to the police at Hausa-Ihemba division for further investigation and possible prosecution.

Do we need anyone to tell us who the ritual serial killers in Naija are ?
Instead of working hard, they believe human parts will give them money!
CrimeI Sold Human Parts To Churches And Ritual Killers – Joshua by cjrane(op): 9:45pm On Nov 23, 2012
November 21st will ever remain indelible in the heart of Oloko villagers as members of the palace guard to the community leader of Ajara Topa community in collaboration with a vigilante group operating in the area arrested a man who allegedly eats and sells human parts to ritualists, operating from a hole he dug under the Gbaji bridge along the Badagry-Seme border.

Joshua Akindele,56, who hails from Etokia Local Government in Ogun State was spotted by one Anthony Amos who watched him crawl into a hole under the Gbaji bridge, confessed that he had been into cannibalism and ritual killing for the past 15 years, after being introduced to the business by a friend who convinced him to stop driving popular motor cycle known as “Okada” which he claimed profited him a little, but could not sustain him.

He further said that he had been earlier sent to prison for 5 years after raping a 17-year old girl.

Speaking with Crime Guard, Akindele confessed that he was the brain behind the incessant killing within the village using ply woods to hit his human prey, and dragging them into the holes before splitting their parts for food and business… with ritual buyers.

*Joshua caught with some human skeletons

In his statement “I have been in this business for the past 15 years after my friend advised me to stop riding okada and to join him in ritual killing and cannibalism”

When asked how he carried out his activities, he confessed “Whenever I see somebody walking alone without being conscious of who is watching, I walk slowing up to them and hit them with a big ply wood on their heads after which they fall unconscious, I then drag them into the hole and use a knife to cut them into parts which I sell to some churches and some ready buyers who indulge in ritual killing for easy money, and some times when I feel hungry late in the night, I eat some parts for food.

He confessed further that he sells the parts as follows: Heads 7,500, breast 1,500, penis 1000, hands and legs for 3,500.

Amos who is a member of a vigilante group in the area alerted other members of the group and palace guards of the Baale of Ajara Topa community to monitor the movements of Joshua.

He told Crime Guard that at about 1 a.m on 21st of November, he was on his normal routine watch when he noticed him (Joshua) crawling into the hole with a rice bag, he quickly alerted other members who confronted him with a gun and ordered him to drop and open what he was carrying. When he did, they discovered rotten human parts; skulls, legs, hands, breasts e.t.c.

Crime Guard visited the palace of the Baale of Ajara Topa community, Chief Samuel Amosu Owolabi, who after confirming the incident told Crime Guard that he was sleeping in his palace when an emergency call woke him with the caller informing him that a man had been arrested by members of his palace guards in collaboration with members of the vigilante group with human parts.

Chief Samuel said he quickly called Chief Patifo, Baale of Iyafin whom his community shared the bridge with to accompany him to the scene. When he got there, he noticed a mob had begun beating the suspect and only stopped after he begged them to let him live so that proper investigations will be carried out by the police.

Crime Guard confirmed the suspect was in the custody of the Badagry police division from a police source who pleaded anonymity.
