Music/RadioRe: What Rick Ross’ “hold Me Back” Video Tells The World About Nigerians by cjrane: 9:30pm On Sep 21, 2012
Tell me what Rick Ross showed about Nigeria that is false?
"Hold me back" is a solidarity song for those who suffer in oppression and poverty.Should he have shot his video in Maitama Abuja where the very people responsible for the thievery and poverty display their ill gotten wealth? His video gives a voice to the voiceless who have been oppressed and deprived by the wickedness of Nigeria.

Ghanian films are nothing but soft porn and indeed it and other foreign films should not be released like that into Nigerian market with being rated by the Nigerian film board. Nigeria should not be a dump site for all dick and harry to dump their junk.

PoliticsRe: Disputed Anambra Oil Well: ACF Joins Fray, Backs Kogi by cjrane: 3:54am On Sep 21, 2012
ACF is the unseen hand using Kogi to lay claims on Anambra oil and not the other way round. But i wonder how they hope to pull this one off. That border has never been changed since Independence in 1960.It has always been the same border between the eastern region and the northern region. How they hope to change it now to claim Anambra's oil will be very interesting.I can only advice the youths to remain very vigilant and kill anything that trespass into their land.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Approves N600 Billion For Demographic Database – NPC Chairman. by cjrane: 3:45am On Sep 21, 2012
All these stupid waste of money. Some people in Nigeria have vested interest to make sure Nigerians are not counted. They begin one controversy or another just to thwart the census. Why? They benefit from citing bogus population figures to corner more federal revenue from other people's resources. We need to have true federalism before wasting more money on census. Then,we would have removed the incentive for some people to count their goats and chicken as human beings
Foreign AffairsRe: In spite of it's perils, Nigeria finally send troops to Somalia by cjrane(op):
President Obasanjo and Late President Yar'adua in their wisdom resisted this immoral AU pressure to send another batch of Nigerians to die in another thankless African battlefield. Now, why should Nigerians keep dying thanklessly for Africans? Does it mean the Nigerian life is cheaper than an average African's life? All the countries Nigeria sacrificed blood and billions of dollars to fight their wars are today the biggest deriders of Nigeria. This includes countries like South Africa where we did not send troops, but did a lot to support their struggle financially and offer Nigerian facilities as a base for the ANC. Why can't our leaders just leave Somalia to the East Africans and South Africa? We still have active troops serving and dying in six trouble spots in Africa. Now GEJ will add Somalia to it. WHYhuh?

140 officers of the Nigerian Police Force have arrived in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia to participate in the ongoing Africa Union (AU) Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) peacekeeping operations.

A statement by the Peace and Security Department of the AU Commission on Wednesday said that the Formed Police Unit (FPU) from Nigeria would join other unit from Uganda who were already in Mogadishu.

The Special Representative of the AU Chairperson for Somalia, Boubacar Diarra in a statement said the arrival of the second AMISOM Formed Police Unit was a clear demonstration of the AU’s commitment to support Somalia in its endeavour to improve the security situation in the country especially in the liberated areas.

Mr Diarra thanked the AU Commission, the government and the people of Nigeria for honouring the pledge to provide additional police personnel to the mission.

He said that the deployment of the unit would provide the needed support to the people of Somalia as they strive to improve on the security situation in the country.

“Nigeria already has some Police Officers in Somalia and the deployment of this unit, clearly demonstrated its strong commitment to peace and stability not only in Somalia but also in the other part of the continent,’’ Mr Diarra said.

The statement said that the two units provided by Uganda and Nigeria, would ensure improved security in the liberated areas in the effort to boost Public Order Management, VIP escorts activities and providing protection to camps for Internally Displaced Persons
(IDP).

The biggest credit must go to the Anambra people and the parents that reported their children's suspicious activities.
The so called Boko haram boys have wives, parents, aunties, uncles, neighbours etc who know they bath in human blood everyday. But would not report these people to Police. WHYhuh

Instead, they join us to be shouting Boko Haram o!, Boko Haram !!! each time people are killed by their attacks. Meanwhile they go home and feed these murderers, have sex with them and wash off other people's blood from their clothes and even go to Mosque with them !
Allah, will punish all of you that kill innocent people in his name.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Calls For The Abolition Of The Senate by cjrane: 5:19pm On Sep 19, 2012
I don't know if its the Senate or the House of Reps. that need to go,but Nigeria definitely does not need both duplicating their functions and costing this country a whopping 25% of its resources to maintain.

Again, the number of those Reps is too much. Imagine, United States of America with 50 States, more than 300 million people and an economy of $15 trillion dollars has only 100 Senators!!!
I said only 100 Senators for 50 American states !
Nigeria does not need to have more than one senator per state. Making a total of 36 Senators for the country. We know we are wasting our resources maintaining 109 Senators (Even Abuja, a federal capital territory has a senator too!) and 360 House of Representative Members.Yet, Nigerian Senators and House of Rep. members are the highest paid in the world inspite of Nigeria being amongst the poorest countries in the world per capita.A Nigerian senator earn more than 8 times above an American Senator, inspite of USA being the richest country on earth! It is the height of looting a nation in the name of democracy.Imagine the billions of dollars Nigeria shall save every year if we had a unicameral parliament made up of 36 senators, no more, no less.

Desola: I am for the disintegration of Nigeria and not for its viability. The north is a lost course as far as i'm concerned so why waste good time trying to form economical relationship. All that it provides the west can easily be reproduced so its a futile effort in my opinion.

My concern is for Yorubaland and for Yorubas alone.
Sorry Nigeria will not break up. We shall survive together or sink together.

GenBuhari: If you define corruption as bending the rules to achieve your goals then Abacha like all us would be corrupt to some extent.

However if it comes to looting the treasury, there is overwhelming evidence that Ihave unearthed that proves that Abacha never looted, simply put Obasanjo conspired with foriegn courts to deceive Nigerians that Abacha looted and the money supposedly returned did not actually belong to Abacha, which is why the money Obasanjo claimed he recovered cannot be traced.

https://www.nairaland.com/951549/how-abacha-maliciously-demonised-obasanjo
No matter what Obasanjo might have said or did not say, truth remains that Abacha looted the treasury.Unless you can tell me how to explain away a whopping $5 billion dollars that found its way into his bank accounts. Indeed,at that point, he was the richest black man in the world without any known business he owns except being Head of State of Nigeria.
Obasanjo could not explain what he did with $16 billion dollars he spent on non-existent power projects. Knowing that OBJ isn't stupid and nobody ever went to jail for that whopping sum,i know OBJ might have stolen the money. But, nobody can say for sure if he stole more than Abacha.
PoliticsRe: Obi : Anambra Owns Disputed Oil Field by cjrane: 3:52am On Sep 17, 2012
Indeed, there is also an Ibaji area in Anambra. Indeed,Anambra had always had two native languages Igbo and Igala. Go and research the history books. While i support the National Boundaries Commission to demarcate the exact border between Anambra and Kogi, let me sound a serious note of warning to Anambra people not to accept any new map drawn after 1st October,1960. We all know on Independence day, 1st October 1960,the border in dispute today is the border between the former northern region and the former eastern region, clearly demarcated by the original British map. That border has not changed since 1960 inspite of all the state creations, so Anambra should not accept any abrakadabra new map drawn after the original British drawn map at Independence. That original map must be found and used, not all the useless maps generated by dubious people with computers manipulation of the scales.

Not even in the Koran I bet you. The Koran does not encourage any muslim to kill defenceless people, women and children. The Koran also encourages the acquisition of Knowledge through education for the good of mankind. THEY ARE SIMPLY TERRORIST and I hope and pray that we all see them as such. They might be agents of goverment to justify the huge security budget for that is the only budget that can not be audited according to law. Free money being justified Period!

PoliticsRe: Kogi Claims Ownership Of Anambra's Oil Wells by cjrane:
The National Boundary Commission should use all the latest satellite utilities and technology available now to pin point the border. Since where the southern border of the defunct Northern Region and the Northern border of the former Eastern Region has not changed since independence,Anambra should not accept any map drawn before 1st October, 1960 when we still had regions. All these fake maps made after 1960, are not acceptable.Let us use the original map drawn by the British who have no interest in this issue and didn't even know there was oil there when they made the map. That is the least biased map to use to know the historical border. That way,the bias of using recent fake maps by all the interested parties would not work here.Let us know where the British put the line dividing the southern border of the northern region and northern border of the Eastern Region and settle the matter once and for all.

Since oil is now involved, a lot of big money corruption will already be taking place now to bribe the NBC officials. Thus,International border experts should also be involved to make sure our local officials are marking the spots the coordinates indicate. If you leave this sensitive matter to corrupt Nigerian officials or judges, then wahala is the result.
PoliticsRe: Kogi Claims Ownership Of Anambra's Oil Wells by cjrane: 11:48pm On Sep 16, 2012
Kogi is just trying to play an untenable 419.So where were they all these years to come and say Anambra was searching for oil and drilling on their land? Suddenly on 30th of August after Anambra was declared oil producing state, their jealousy and 419 was hatched? They know very well the oil wells are well inside Anambra border. They are only making noise because they want Anambra to give them something for the piece of the oil field said to have entered Kogi.(That is if seismic data truly prove the same field extends into Kogi).Kogi state has coal and some oil coming over from the Anambra field.(If we are to believe the data). So, Kogi should go and invest almost N4.5 billion and develop its own oil. Then Delta shall send their deputy governor on the day it shall be commisioned to say the oil actually belong to Delta since part of the field enters Delta's territory under the ground. This is just the height of 419. I hope Anambra people completely reject this type of koro koro cheating them of their God given resources.

oge4real: I wonder if they specifically teach these people to say this particular phrase after every heinous violent attack by the Muslims (this is un-Islamic, cos Islam is a religion of peace).
Are they trying to tell us that the criminals are non-muslims, or that they are rebellious subsect?
Yesterday, they caused chaos in Sydney and all their leaders could come up with was the same rehearsed tale.

If the religion is peaceful and does not support violence, who then sponsors these attacks, and how come they always emanate after a meeting at the mosques and/or prayer grounds?
I blame those countries that sit idly by and watch them decimate their cities. You cannot burn cars and buildings in Mecca,Medina,Sanai or Tehran if someone made a cartoon of Jesus Christ(Who is GOD, not prophet), so why should the Australian authorities allow immigrants to cause chaos in their cities? They have themselves to blame for not protecting their Homeland.
PoliticsRe: Fg Approves Construction Of Anambra Airport by cjrane: 1:15pm On Sep 16, 2012
Methinks it wouldn't be a bad idea to liase and support the Asaba International Airport for this venture. I think it would be a waste of resources to build another airport in Aguleri just to sell aviation fuel, while there is a brand new International Airport in Asaba.Trucks can haul the aviation fuel to be well handled at the Asaba International Airport.
PoliticsRe: US Temporarily Closes Embassy In Nigeria by cjrane: 12:42pm On Sep 16, 2012
In spite of president Obama's offer of handshake and peace to the muslims and in spite of risking his political future to help muslims in Libya, they still kill his ambassadors and plot to attack his embassies around the world. Why? because a CONVICTED FELON in America made a video. Not a US politician or preacher or a responsible citizen. (Unlike muslim Sheiks and respected islamic scholars that preach violence against christians even in UK mosques) I hope by now,it has become clear that only a fool believe islam is a religion of anything but war. see what the Qur'an advise muslims to do and you will see that is exactly what they have been doing;

..“Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them.” Qur’an 2:191“Kill the Jews and the Christians if they do not convert to Islam or refuse to pay Jizya tax.” Qur’an 9:29“Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood.” Qur’an 9:123“When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them. “Qur’an 9:5“Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable.” Qur’an 3:85“Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam” Qur’an 5:33“The infidels are unclean; do not let them into a mosque.” Qur’an 9:28“Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies.” Qur’an 22:19“Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them.” Qur’an 47:4“Muslims must not take the infidels as friends.” Qur’an 3:28“Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an.” Qur’an 8:12“Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels.” Qur’an 8:60

If you have truely read this thread include news stories from Abacha and Obasanjo's era, I am at loss how you concluded Abacha is more corrupt than Obasanjo undecided ?.
I believe Abacha was not corrupt at all.
Abacha might have been less corrupt than OBJ, i really can't argue who stole more. But that he isn't corrupt at all? That is stretching it too far.
How did he come about all the billions (More than $2 billion dollars) his family has so far relinquished to the Federal Government in order to keep more than $ 4 billion discovered? Do you want to make me believe his salary as Chief of Army staff or 5 years as Head of state would have amounted even up to $1 billion dollars in savings?
I think it is a mockery of my gray hair, that you want me to judge Abacha from the 2 pages you have pasted here, instead of the entire 5 years i lived every minute of it under his "endless" (Borrowing Newsline Frank Olize's) transition to civil rule program.Check yourself...
