It felt just like a dream when I got my BFP. I was over the moon with so many thoughts flooding my mind, like how the baby would look like. I couldn't even wait for the bump to start showing early enough to make my mockers see how my God haven't forgotten me, but God knows best.

For the FTM; if you feel any discomfort please talk to your doc. I didn't listen to my body when I started feeling mild cramping thinking it was normal, it went on for almost 2wks before I decided to check with my doctor who confirmed my greatest fear. But all in all, I'm happy for this journey thus far which shows I am fertile.

I heard bitter kola is not good for medicine, nzu is not good for baby and it causes shortage of blood. This two would have been my best options because I can't stand d smell of ginger

you're right about the nzu and bitter kola not been safe.
However, I believe for the bitter kola, that as long as you don't ingest it you're safe. Just pop half a piece into your mouth and leave it there. No chewing or anything. It worked so well for me, although only for two weeks, before I was back to square one.
Until I found relief in garden egg (or guava). Just that you'll have to keep chewing like a goat. Eventually chewing gum also worked (which strangely never worked before).

Bros and Sis, after 15 or approximately 17 years in school, went for NYSC, be check and satisfied by the federal Government. Common Microfinance want to recruits, me to render service to them and they will decide to set test for me to write as if I want to be a lecturer or am looking for admissions in their bank. I think its bullshit.

Why test here and there? Its because they 'Nigerians' dont believe in their teachers and lecturers. The pitiable thing there is that, the person conducting the test does not even know it.

So we all know we get the question every week, on what to feed to babies just being introduced to solids. over the last 3 or so years i have been on NL, there has been a mountain of recipes and tips shared.

Understandably it can be hard to search back for items on NL and it is a bit tedious re-typing when you know you have done an epistle of 20 recipes sometime last year. so to kind of ease things off I have started a baby food / weaning/ introducing solid thread. this is for recipes and food related ideas for babies 6 months plus.

Please feel free to quote and paste links to any food recipes you have saved from this newborn thread, other threads or even websites .

Can't really remember when exactly I started feeding my son with noodles but I go with Akorkor recipe, I use my stew to make the noodles and mash with fish or egg yoke and he likes it. I think you can cook it without the seasoning though.

Make it with stew instead of the noodles seasoning. You can make it more nutritious, include lots of crayfish and shredded debonned fish. Noodles is my baby's next best after semo..

Hello mummys, is noodles safe for a 7 month old? My baby is extremely picky and feeding solids have been difficult, sadly we're still doing majorly breastfeeding,
but recently I tried noodles and boiled egg, she loved it, she practically pulls my hand towards her mouth impatiently for the next spoon.

I just want to know if it safe especially as a lot of yarn has been said about these noodle's seasoning

my baby and urs must be twins.. She's 7 months today. She "swims" instead of crawling, she also slides too.
She also goes on all fours, and rocks back and forth like she were dancing. That one is funny to watch.

Just like your baby, she holds on to something especially the edge of her cot and goes in a kneeling position.

This morning, while rocking back and forth on her fours, she took two steps to crawl forward and stopped she's back to swimming.
