Witcher: What's this... This unnecessary, Most of the civil service in Nigeria are poverty alleviation scheme Anyways I do not particularly like the word 'work.' Human beings are the only animals who have to work, and I think that is the most ridiculous thing in the world. Other animals make their livings by living, but people work like crazy, thinking that they have to in order to stay alive. The bigger the job, the greater the challenge, the more wonderful they think it is. It would be good to give up that way of thinking and live an easy, comfortable life with plenty of free time. I think that the way animals live in the tropics, stepping outside in the morning and evening to see if there is something to eat, and taking a long nap in the afternoon, must be a wonderful life. For human beings, a life of such simplicity would be possible if one worked to produce directly his daily necessities. In such a life, work is not work as people generally think of it, but simply doing what needs to be done. what you have written looks crazy but it's philosophically sound, though not practical because of the inherent nature of man |

NO place like home.
33 years of back and forth between Nigeria and the US, been all over the world. I miss Naija like crazy when I'm out of the country.
In fact, the euphoria that I had when I first left Nigeria for the US back int he 80's is almost the same kind of Euphoria I get now when I'm going back home after leaving Nigeria for just about a month or two.
I'm not saying don't travel out if that's your dream but for most people, you will still come back home sooner or later. Just a matter of time. how old are u sir? |

Joshua schooled in Mayflower shagamu, Nigeria is what makes him thick .. in a competitive sport like boxing, you need confidence and the best way to boost your confidence is to go to your root, visit where you grew up, see thing that helped shape you
to me any time I feel abit down I just drive around my child hood neighborhood , I visit my primary school, secondary school and other places that seem so big and scary to me back then and I see how tiny it had shrunk or how old I have become.. this to me is the best therapy a man can ever have.. it works 99% of the time
many Nigerians calling Nigeria shithole do so because they are poor and disadvantaged , if you can gurantee your own comfort (inverter/solar , good estate, little change in the account and good ride) you would understand Nigeria is a very very lovely place to enjoy your life,

DMerciful: Nigerians especially the West and North hated GEJ because he is from a minority tribe. They hated the fact that GEJ was making institutional progress and they fear their rubbish legacy would be desecrated so they started unnecessary attacks through occupy lagos and malicious publications by Lagos-Ibadan press. This was done by the West under pretence that GEJ refused to give them speakership even though GEJ made effort to put Mulikat but was frustrated by Tinubu who chose Tambuwal for his people. While the North intensified Bokoharam, kidnapped their own children, Sanusi went on rambling of NNPC missing $20 billion which Price Waterhouse Corper audited and found nothing substantial. NNPC is still loosing money till tomorrow, subsidy has doubled and fuel price has also doubled, we have borrowed over 10 trillion yet the roads are bad, electricity bad, security and crime has become a disaster, there is general unhappiness in the country, electoral gains made by GEJ has been reversed, elections has gone back to pre 2007 when results were written in politicians bedrooms. In all honesty, the west betrayed the South for nothing! This is a contender for best Nairaland comment of 2019 |

safarigirl: Jehova's Witness is a Denomination, under the Religion of Christianity
Except JW adherents are not Christians and now believe in something other than Jesus Christ, this your topic is woefully ignorant and the Mod that pushed this to FP should be ashamed of whatever education they supposedly got. The Jehovah's Witness regard themselves as a religion, the only true religion. They believe that all other 'christian groups' are not true Christians. They often refer to themselves as a religion in other to distinguish themselves from (other) Christian denominations. The JWs all over the world believe in the above, and if Serena doesn't believe in it, she won't be regarded as a witness. I have studied the JWs for over a decade and half, those guys beliefs will shock you. I suggest u do a research on them |

And he has the audacity to say it is now more difficult to steal public fund? No, Mr Sagay, stealing is now institutionalized such that rigging money is given official state approval. Alexaonfleek: ok fine it's Catholic.its also easy for a priest to retire but getting married is a different thing entirely. If a priest wants to retire all he has to do is to notify his bishop and the bishop will allow him to,but he has to remain single If he wants to get married he will have to get a letter of approval from Rome or so,I can't remember the whole procedure but Google it up. well, the fact that he wedded in a Catholic Church means he did all that was required of him to get married as a retired priest. Are u a Catholic? |

I stand to be corrected tho It's a catholic Church. You can see the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Crucifix behind the alter. I believe the Priest retired and married. No qualms in that |

The real victims like the Leah Sharibu's of this world don't deserve to be called Christians alongside fakers like you. And what has your insult changed? How many people has it converted? You have a lot of knowledge about Islam that is why i followed you, but the way you go about insulting Muslims and their religion at the slightest provocation is a misuse of the knowledge you have. You can make more engaging and convincing argument without actually insulting anyone. Glory to Jesus |
