visit Nigeria and confirm your suspicions. ,  . . above all stick to your boyfriend and encourage him to formalize your relationship, he cant remain in Germany forever. . you are a woman, according to african culture a woman's place is her husband's home. if you really love him and want to spend the rest of your life with him . .accept his origin/country for what it is. Nigeria is developed as par infrastructures to a certain degree ,  u dont find snakes in cities ,  . are u going to live in the village for ever? you only go to his village for visit, but your permanent residence should be in one of the cities. for the records there are so many English, American, Scots, Germans, Australians, French people living comfortably with their nigerian spouse in places like port-harcourt,lagos, Abuja, calabar, jos etc . . , and there are the arabs, chinese, lebanese, indians, syrians living comfortably in the northern part of Nigeria like kano, maiduguri, Gombe, kaduna etc,   these are big cities in Nigeria. . my dear katy you need to allay your fears. your children need to know their father did not fall from the trees. HE HAS AN ORIGIN. you not bringing them over, (you are depriving them of that privilege).
NB. we Nigerians respect and love foreigners just the way we love each other not minding our ethnic diversities.

moral ills are prevalent in every part of the world . . . .we can do ourself a favor by understanding that inter racial relationship can survive just like every other relationship, the key to the success is respect for the other person's culture. love and tolerance conquers the unconquerable.
