The idea of xmas has generated alot of controversy over the years, even amongst the christian faith. There are some christians who believe today being the 25th of December marks the birth of jesus christ. While others believe Jesus was born on the 16th of dec., There are some other set of xtians who believe jesus was born in october and not in december as it is widely celebrated. However, It is also said that Christmas is the celebration of the death of Christ. It is even scriptural that Jesus was sent to the world to die and cleanse us of our sins. John: 3v16. But personally i think the time/reason of xmas does not matter. What matter is that we're celebration christ our saviour.

What is your take on this issue??

Yea! We do share food to our neighbours during festive periods such as xmas and new year. But many a time the food given to us by our neighbour ends in our trash-can. I don't know what's wrong. My mom is so supersticious. Who know weather ours goes to their dustbin too. Seriously, the value of love during festive period is no longer relevant.
