there is ntn like ebira extracted from the Hausa's they are only close because of the religion. speaking about language I would have 100% support you if you say the Yoruba language but there is still similarities BTW Igbo and ebira language the difference is that a pure word in Igbo will mean something entirely different in ebira. I happen to have most of them as friends and neighbour

let me chip in some religious history about my tribe (Ebira). It all started when almost every ebira indegine surname are all Islamic names, being a land mix with the two religion we always happen to argue a lot and they end up telling me that our fore fathers are all Muslim and we Christians deviated. so I decided to ask my dad whose dad answered a Muslim name(my present surname) but later converted into Christianity before his death. According to my dad since okene land was in d central Christianity came from the eastern southern part with their love and humanities but when Islam came everybody with the fright everybody had to answer a Muslim name so as to be recognise as one of them but they all continued in their traditional life style. All my grandfathers siblings all answer a Muslim name and that's same for all families it was later on their children after traveling chose the religion they wish to embrace begin to convert or either remain Muslims. all of my grandfather's house hold converted into Christianity but to be well recognised in okene land you have to be a Muslim, one of my uncle had to convert into Islam to succeed in politics. You can only apply to 2 schools on d DE form(1st n 2nd choice) but its adviceable to choose d school u did ur jupeb since you'll b applying with awaiting result on ur DE form. If u re not sure of urself u can still apply for jamb but its not compulsory

I love my place bcus we are mixed up of d both religion all family is made up Muslim and christian and I still think that's why there can't be much of religious crisis but teaching a Christian Islam and vice versa its just to say the government don't respect our beliefs. we both value our religion and know one will want his or her wards to deviate imagine a pastor's son came home and start reciting some Quranic versus or an Imam son start praying in d name of Jesus which is actually against their belief government should stop this joke.

Romans 12:20 may also help. It doesn't matter if these peeps are not Christians. Your good deeds can transform their hearts and have more positive impacts on their lives than the noise your church makes through loudspeakers.

Nigerians will have something to say..Christianity is not easy to act when Jesus was on earth he didn't just preach love he acted it, he didn't just preach humility he acted it by washing of d feet if we are truly Christ followers please how many churches followed what Jesus did years back but we can hold Bible and preach..ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS..And if God can stoop that low to wash humans feet then the Pope can do so in a universal way which is the meaning of Catholic..
