Great job man! |
segcymoor: You will understand better if you are familiar with lekki/ Ajah axis. That is how it's being done here due to the nature of the soilThe suck-away looks very solid but don't you think a septic tank would have been better because of the borehole that is within same compound? With this, I am refering to contamination by sewage (or sewage water);especially bearing in mind that the water table is quite shallow in this environment. Just a thought ( and no challenge on your method). ![]()

The report of expenditure you gave is nice. |
kkonsults: You are Right sir, and to also retain moisture in the concrete.Okay. But can u educate the class on the essence of moisture retention? |
segcymoor: Casting of ground beam thenI noticed you used metals for your form work as against the conventional planks or even marine boards in use; from my observation, I believe the height I am seeing is equivalent to 3 planks which is about 90cm or maximum 1 metre. Am I right?

frosbel: My question is, can Nigerians not see that this is a scam ? Why do they keep following these Men ?I stopped paying tithes to churches. I simply use the money to help people. |
Tallesty1: some are more interested in gaining wealthYea, and it does bring to mind the saying 'what shall it profit a man to gain this world and lose his soul' ? |
nora544: Adeboye will get the land because he has big nigerian politicans behind him who will help him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!A very good point but I think oyakhilome has his backers too. |
Tallesty1: The apostle of old followed one Jesus Christ but the pastors of today each have a different god and fake jesus. Most pastors in Nigeria are just business men, forget the miracles and healing, my great-grand father who was a pagan performed many miracle and wonders.Lol...it is true because I sometimes wonder if they are winning souls for the same kingdom of God. |
Spotless180: how many land will rccg buy? they better leave this one for christ embassy. men of God shud not fight over trivial things. We can't just ask one party to give up. One of the parties involved is the criminal. Someone must be laying claim to what doesn't belong to him. |
nora544: That shows me that both are only business man who want to have their own empire and that must be big!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Exactly! If this whole thing is about soul winning, it should not get to this. |
voltron: You are only beginning to see the vicious deception in these false prophets of God. you even begin to question why God has not struck them with lightening as in the days of old. Those capitalist religious yahoo-yahoo boys with their false monthly propheciesI can't but agree with you based on what is going on. |
spyder880: When we say imported in construction soils, it means that the soil was excavated elsewhere and brought into the site. The 100 trips is because of the depth of the land, see the earlier pictures from the start of the thread. The size of the compound is also big. Welcome broThanks. Well appreciated. |
In all honesty, I question these pastors for going to court in the first place because I don't think the apostles of old would let it degenerate to this or am I missing something? |
THERE is palpable tension in Christendom as the land dispute between Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy is about to escalate. The fear is predicated on the rumored plan of Christ Embassy to commence the development of the vast land which spreads across Oloke, Asese, Maba and Gideon villages along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State. Oyakhilome’s men reportedly mounted their bill on the contentious land days back. A move insiders said would spark off another round of war between the two very popular Pentecostal churches. Having done this without a challenge from RCCG, ENCOMIUM Weekly was told that Christ Embassy will, any moment from now, do the ground breaking ceremony of their camp ground which had been delayed for year as a result of the protracted case. Contacted on Sunday, July 13, 2014, to confirm or debunk if the land tussle has been resolved amicably, an official of RCCG, Pastor Kunmi Oyekunle said the matter is still on. He said Christ Embassy cannot lay claim to the disputed land since it doesn’t belong to them. But reacting to the recent development, Christ Embassy told our reporter it was immaterial whether or not they have started developing their property. What is important, according to them is that the land belongs to the church that is now in almost all the continents in the world. “I don’t know the purpose of this phone chat. What is important is that we have a land there (at the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway). Whenever we are ready, we would build our camp ground there,” the Christ Embassy’s official, Pastor Kenneth said. In March 2013, there was a big fracas between ‘mercenaries’ of the two leading Pentecostal churches on the controversial land where some allegedly lost their lives. It was alleged then that the Christ Embassy thugs led by one notorious Omo Onile (a native land speculator), Lukman Jimoh a.k.a Ogo Oluwa to intimidate Pastor Adeboye’s men. The matter was so serious that RCCG had to petition the Inspector General of Police (IGP), asking him to wade into the matter which was going out of hand. The church, in the said petition, while recounting how they came about the property, said that despite the fact that the land falls under the government acquisition area, the church had in June 1999, paid ratification fees for the land to late Alhaji Tajudeen Ogoluwa (Lukman’s father), who gave the church a Deed of Surrender signed by him and witnessed by one Waidi Ogunsesan. RCCG added that it was also given allocation of the land for 99 years by the Ogun State Government in a letter signed by the Director-General, Bureau of Lands and Survey, Surveyor Gbenga Ogunnoike. RCCG equally alleged that Ogun State Government issued a Certificate of Occupancy with the number 025748, dated November 7, 2006 and signed by the governor. The IG, it was further gathered, directed the Ogun State Police Command Headquarters, Eleweran to resolve the matter between the two clerics (Pastors Adeboye and Oyakhilome). Nothing had been heard about the matter until information recently filtered in that Christ Embassy’s signboard is now conspicuously placed on the controversial property, a move RCCG have vowed to resist. - UCHE OLEHI Source: http://encomium.ng/pastors-adeboye-oyakhilome-land-dispute-escalates/ |
