SkyBlue1:Please educate them. |
NairaBaba:That is great. But do these prices have to do with the location of your site? I find ur carpentry abd iron bending fees incredibly cheap. That is really gud. God bless your works. |
I don't know who to believe again sef. But I think the marketers are trying to squeeze as much as they can from GEJ's administration as they are uncertain of Buhari's disposition towards paying them. But one thing is certain. I am now more educated on this subsidy and IMO it is utter rubbish. I won't take to the streets like most of us did in 2012. |
This is serious. |
segcymoor:HAHAHAHAHA . I agree with you sir! |

erico2k2:Come my friend, stop jumping to conclusions. I am in a profession that makes me a globe trotter. I can categorically tell you that the uk and USA still have some very old trains. The only place I can't say for certain is Japan because I have not had the opportunity to go hinterland. Please don't assume everyone in this forum is not exposed. Rather you should try to understand the perspective from which one is making comments. If this perspective is not known, just ask the person concerned to justify himself. For example, I have strong justification for saying electric trains can work in Nigeria despite the rampant power outages.Do you know there is a place in that Nigeria where the light has not blinked for the past 15yrs? Yes, I mean blinked no matter the weather and it is in that same Nigeria. And concerning the private sectors owning the bullet trains, I know also. Afterall, (in the UK) Virgin Trains is not government neither are the international trains at King's cross pancras owned by any state but like I said earlier, we have basis for what we said. All you need do is ask and we will defend ourselves. No be fight o o ![]() |
Following as usual. ![]() |
mufutau55:Oga, I am good sir. We need to talk as regarding my interest at that y our end. I asked after you in 2 or more posts before I modified them. As for the roof, I don't think the argument that the water is drinkable will hold water in Nigeria. Reason being that how many people who will live in a house with such an expensive roof will drink the rain water? Most will depend on bottled water from water dispensers, or treated water from boreholes. However, if the price is competitive, I don't mind using it. For now though, I am thinking of the Metcoppo. |
segcymoor:Congratulations sir. 2% of your proceeds will help me a great deal. ![]() |
The bungalow is better because of so many advantages. In the future, u will appreciate it better.you can maintain ur bungalow as you deem fit,you can do what u like in ur compound, you can do major renovations whenever and where ever u like in the building. Ur decision and plans do not need to be dependent on neighbours. Your neighbours may be pigs and may litter the whole compound- you can only shout. Please, there is no comparison, the advantages outweighs the disadvantages. As for proximity, will you be working at this your work place for ever? What if you get a better offer somewhere that is closer to ur bungalow in future or somewhere that is equidistant from both? Please go for the bungalow if the finishings etc is at par. |
ROSSIKE:I know ur type and silence is the best answer for you. Anyway, FYI it was botched projects by past administrations. You better learn to get facts before jumping to conclusion. So you'd know, a train at this time and age should be ntn less than the one below.
|
Not bad actually. To think I was one of those that condemned the this project. You can't blame me especially not after botched similar projects. |
spyder880:I really like what I saw but the price is . And I wonder the distance between the purlins to be used i.e. is it going to be same as a long span or shorter distances? And truth be told, how many of our carpenters knows how to fix these?@ spyder, I would love to see a pix of a roof it was used for? |
shikshark:Please tell them. Although it might be difficult to say precisely since there was no direct mention of it being Qatar airways. |
Why did this thread stop? This is one of the most technically advanced thread I have visited in the property section. I stand to be corrected by Hajj aka mufutau55. FastShipping:I think because it is not the final finishing. After all, no one will know how it looks after we finish it with tiles, etc. I must state however that this necessitates plastering of other sections with no such finishings. |
@ OP (HSL), I tried reaching you. Can you please give me an estimate for parapet in a main building of 14 x 24 metres and a BQ of 14 x 7 metres? Also an estimate for roofing if I am to use 0.55mm SOUTH KOREA stone coated step tile roofing sheet. Thanks. |
This is quite challenging. Not ashamed to humble myself before my God any where I find myself. |
oluwalfa:I second this motion. |

Just go directly to the aluminum companies like tower around you. I think it is cheaper getting directly from them. |
niceguy7:I agree with your suggestion. |
Congratulations to phyno. |
I remember being onboard an arik flight that landed at 18:15hrs and we were rushed to board because of rain and time. Despite the hurry, we could not taxi till the rain stopped at 1900hrs. As soon as i saw them serving refreshment before take off, I knew we were going no where. We were told that there is no night movement after 1900 hrs. We ended up sleeping in Asaba at our expense. Very useless airport in my opinion. |
