I agree it has to do with individual experience however, after my experience with some Nigerians, Oga, anything plastering and POP is now done by Cotonou guys. That is my personal preference though. But how many houses have I built that I will argue with you? You obviously should know better. But I think the skilful and honest Nigerian artisans in that field are not common.

5300 blocks = N216,000.

Very fair deal. I had to talk my head off before I was able to get it for 4500 /100 blocks.

Cement: 100bags x N1,800 = N180,000
Sharp sand: 2 x N28,000 = N56,000
Gravel: 2 x N25,000 = N50,000
Digging and blinding =N35,000
Block Setting(bricklayer) = N4000/100 blocks I.e
N216,000
12mm iron rod: 56 x N1,300 = N72,000
16mm iron rod: 12 x N2,500 = N30,000
8mm iron rod: 18 x N900 = N16,200
Welder: N40,000

segcymoor, can you kindly comment on the above? Can you share the estimate of this new project? I mean the project with the pix directly above.

Still on the pix above, is it my eyes or the camera angle? The window seems to be smaller at the top and larger the bottom plus where the walls met also seems tilted. counting blocks seems to show everything is order but visually, it looks like convex lens was used as they seem to converge.
