The series seems more intent on world building than actually building or developing the characters. There's hardly any character I'm invested in as they are mostly bland. Maybe it has more to do with the actors.

With each following episode I continue to lose interest little by little. No character development whatsoever. No interesting angle, no character to demystify, no one whose scenes you anticipate with hunger. The main character is also one very uninteresting and uninspiring one.
Just focusing on World building and beautiful VFX doesn't make a great show.

Funny how Amazon has stopped reporting viewership numbers or mellowed on the promo.
