Peter Obi's tank was placed on a solid foundation, a cemented stand while the corps member's tank is on a wooden planks which can collapse once the wooden planks become weak. It could cause bodily injuries to innocent children who may lean in the tank while fetching water .

The tank could also fall on people around and kill them. The tank could burst due to the possible impact when it hits the ground and the community will be without water again.

I love PO's strategy which suggests to me he's following elrufai's instructions. Elrufai once said, if you want to be lagos governor, begin grassroots campaigns as soon as election is won, do that for 4 years and you'd unseat the godfather ( Tinubu) in Lagos.

From day one, I didn't join others to attack Elrufai given his great strides in Kaduna and as FCT minister in those days. Anyone who has visited the state will know. My problem with him is his stubbornness and unguarded utterances. They said he's the sponsor of bandits in KD and now that he's no more in power, they're reinforcing.. if he can run woth PO, Nigeria will be better for it.

Before the Naira depreciated badly against the Dollar, I go the market to buy groceries. The stupid & the greedy market women were selling foodstuffs at an exorbitant rates that were even higher than the price MOST SUPERMARKETS were selling.

Guess what? They blamed it on the Dollar.

They would conjure up stupid phrases like “Nigeria Lo’n Pebi” meaning “Nigeria is what they call this place”.

You see some greedy Car-Dealing nonentities selling “accidented” & “flooded” vehicles at mind boggling prices that can ALMOST buy you a “USED CLEAN TITLE” vehicles; and they blame it on the Dollar - EVEN NOW THAT THE DOLLAR IS RAPIDLY DEPRECIATING AGAINST THE NAIRA and IMPORT DUTIES have been reviewed downwards to stabilize the economy.

I could go on and on.

Ask yourself this question, if any of these Loan Shark Businesses were your own, what “debt recovery” method would you adopt in dealing with these callous Nigerians, who borrow money without the intention of ever paying back?

In conclusion, I don’t blame these Loan Shark Companies.

If you do not want to be humiliated by the Loan Sharks, THEN STAY AWAY FROM THEIR MONEY. Simple as ABC.

The owner of landmark already said on several occasions that his business is worth over $2m and he pays tax of over N2b yearly with tickets revenue of N2500 per individual with more than 20,000 visitors weekly. Do you still have issues finding and digesting that piece of information.

Landmark pays about N2B in tax yearly, many other igbo companies pay much more than that in tax.

Say what you know please , Another igbo man Nicholas ukachukwu has more than 213 hectares of land in Abuja running into several billions of naira.

Another igbo man Is investing in new automated manufacturing of big trucks in Nnewi . All these are far richer than landmark in brand , revenue and scale of business. Lagos is what it is ,just another business frontier for igbos and nothing else.

If igbos start investing in oyo, osun, ondo, ekiti ,kwara , that's when I will get worried but as long as it is Lagos, Abuja , eastern states parts of ogun etc , I will sleep with my 2 eyes closed

I don't understand this unnecessary hullabaloo about Landmark and his bar beach that he claims he used 200m$ to develop.
I guess this man must have calculated the ocean as part of his investment in arriving at the 200m$.
Landmark should go back and read his C of O if he has any, everyone is a tenant on any land in Nigeria,there's no total ownership of Land anywhere in this country.
That's why Government can demolish any property anywhere and pay a compensation to the supposed owner,I can count how many properties that were demolished in other to build the overhead bridge in Cele Express,Abule Egba,Ajah and many other places in Lagos.
I'm still puzzled as to what we can consider a pubic good other than a road going from Lagos to Calabar in less than 7 hours.
I believe the Government mustn't give into to this emotional blackmail by Landmark and instead move their caterpillars to demolish any part of the business that need to be scrapped for the remaining 17 million Lagosians and 200 million Nigerians who will use the Road.
I dread the day a citizen will wake up and oppose Government if it wants to build an overhead bridge in a city like ikotun egbe.
Emotions must be discarded if we will ever develop in Nigeria.
