Both cars are still been driven in 2019, is it not what you have you will cherish. Toyota is not dragging luxury or refinement during those times, they just wanted to prove they could make reliable and fuel efficient rides.

Nice concept...However, this would only work for a 12v battery system.

It won't work for a 24v battery system as the output of most laptop chargers are less than 24v.

I once used sumec 1800 and the original Piston and rings is about 2k.. I would advise you take the gen to where you bought it and tell them to direct you to a good engineer that will work it for you. I made a mistake giving mine to a road side engineer and he uselessed the gen. Had to sell it off and buy thermocool

Just buy two or three tokunbo laptop chargers(depending on the capacity you want with the same voltage and current rating, and a pwm charge controller(30a works very well) , it works perfectly. Just add a diode in each charger's output
