obafemee80: Police cars are formidable and specially designed cars that pack collection of performance parts that eclipse anything you can find at your local dealer.
They can accelerate rapidly ,chase down traffic offenders ,force other vehicles off the road, bump into them, spray powerful jet of water ,as well as stay in place and idle for extended periods of time.
These are high performance cars that are used to respond to emergency incidents. They are fitted with special bumpers designed to force vehicles off the road and also equipped with high-output engines, larger radiators/ fans and enhanced electrical output/powerful alternators.
Typical examples are the US Police departments Dodge Charger,Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Tahoe.
United Arab Emirates' Abu Dhabi Police Lykan-Hypersport and Dubai Police Bugatti Veyron are typical examples demonstration cars .These high performance and highly expensive hypercars are used to improve the public image of the Dubai and Abu Dhabi police force.
Their primary function is to convey normal police officers between their duties . They are also used to respond to emergencies, and as such are normally fitted with visual and audible warnings. Typical examples are the police patrol cars in Nigeria .
Riot control vehicles could be divided into three sub-categories. Modified trucks equipped with water cannons, modified stock cars and modified APCs (Armored Personnel Carriers). Their function is to help the paramilitary arm of the Police Force ,like the Nigerian Mobile Police (MOPOL) force, to counter incidents of civil disturbance.
5) Unmarked Police Cars
Unmarked police cars are mostly used for traffic enforcement or detectives. Many forces also use unmarked cars to fulfill some of the roles mentioned above.
Note that some police forces do not distinguish between patrol and pursuit cars, like in the case of Nigerian Police Force ,where one vehicle (standard production car) fulfill some roles it wasn't designed for.
Slymonster: Thats good. People need to know whats right.
But UCH don't camera cameras around in the hospital. Anyone could have taken the pictures, ranging from the people that brought him in, to other patients and patient's relatives in the hospital.
I don't see them winning this case. Although it is unprofessional to take one's picture (be it patient or otherwise)and post online, without consent ,but here the UCH don't have any law (or posters) restricting use of phones or cameras in their hospital.
priceaction: WHAT if it was one of those that rushed him took the pics? Even it could be policemen that escorted them. It is very common even within accident scene, it may not have anything to do with the hospital. It will be foolish of the hospital managements to do that insstead of giving emergencies.

robosky02: Maradona describes Cristiano Ronaldo in two words
Argentine football icon, Diego Maradona has hailed Juventus star, Cristiano Ronaldo as a “sorcerer.”
Maradona stated this after the magical Juventus star fulfilled his pre-match prediction by scoring a hat-trick against Spanish side, Atletico Madrid.
Juventus share price shot up by 20% after reaching the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday to pay back another chunk of Ronaldo’s £85m transfer fee.
Reacting to the player’s performance, Maradona told Marca, “There are players who have been touched by a magic wand. We Argentines are proud that Lionel Messi is Argentinian.
“The other one is an animal. Ronaldo is pure power, and now he’s also a sorcerer. He said he’d score three goals and he scored three goals.”
The Portuguese captain netted his eighth Champions League hat-trick to draw level with Messi and to extend his record tally to 124 goals in 160 matches. He has scored 63 times in the knockout stages.
But Lukaku did similar thing for Manchester united, even on away soil, yet the hype isn't there. To be among the world best once, comes with lots of interests.

AlexReports: PDP chieftain, Uche Onyeagucha, causes chaos at INEC centre in Imo
Nigerians were shocked as they watched on Channels Television as the [b]All Peoples Democratic Party agent and chieftain, Uche Onyagocha, tore the certified INEC result sheet of Ideato South Local Government Area in Imo State, which made the officials take an abrupt break in the collation process.
As observed on television this morning, the PDP agent had demanded that the result from the said Local Government Area should not be announced, alleging that party agents were not allowed at the collation centre. But other party agents rubbished this allegation and urged the State Returning Officer, Prof. Francis Otunta, to proceed with the announcement. According to them, what the PDP agent alleged rather took place at Mbaise LGA where the PDP candidate, Emeka Ihedioha, vote was said to be inflated
However, when the returning officer proceeded with the result announcement after consultations, Onyeagucha stepped up and tore the result sheet. This prompted another party agent to do the same to other announced result sheets.
Meanwhile, a source stated that the real reason the PDP agent tore the result sheet of Ideato LGA was because it was clear that the candidate of AA, Uche Nwosu, had won Ideato with a wide margin. Also, the PDP camp was said to have been thrown into panic as signs emerged that Nwosu might win the overall election and be returned as the Governor-elect, following the inability of the PDP candidate to secure the 25% of the votes cast in 18 LGAs of the state, as required by law.
The apprehension of losing was said to have become more intense within the PDP camp as the result from Abo Mbaise was rejected due to alleged over-voting. Out of the results announced so far, Nwosu has won in 5 LGAs, while Emeka Ihedioha’s PDP has won in 4 LGAs. APGA also won in one LGA, while Hope Uzodinma of APC has not won any LGA
Number of local governments does not necessarily mean largest clan
Faber: Bro get it right...u are correcty but lemme finnish work for u

sonature1: Senator Mao Ohuabunwa has been there for God knows how long It's not his father's house Congratulations to Orji Uzo
This your comment can show your level of political ignorance. He's only a senator from 2015, although he has represented his federal Constituency in the past.
kingi777: Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba will emerge victorious as a member representing Okigwe South Federal Constituency through Accord Party. For now, APC has no legal candidate for February 23rd election.
Nwajiuba is a different breed of politician during his first time at the federal house of representatives. One of the political office holders that maintained zoning principles and did not contest for a second term. I hope he has not changed his ways. I wish him all the best.
miracood: u had a degree in medicine...(something many people will die to get)

Most times there are frustrations to go into residency, which could have been his first option. Alternatively, joining the forces seem to be a way to be part of the federal government structure. To know how challenging it is for a placement for residency, try visiting a federal /university hospital during an interview date. You'll be shocked with thousands of doctors seeking for a very very limited positions.
