Truly evil. They’re scary people. IjeBos: |
feedthenation:Every gremlin who jumped on the bandwagon to call him a criminal will suddenly stay silent. |
budaatum:I can’t pretend to understand why they do and say the things they do. I know why. But I don’t understand it. You know you wouldn’t get close to, hug or kiss someone with a respiratory infection but you want to crucify an 85 year old scientist for telling you to wear a mask and stay at least 6 feet away. It boggles the mind. |
If you “have a feeling” social distancing works, why do you think Fauci made it up? You allowed party politics rid you of your god-given common decency. The whole time you’ve been spreading conservative misinformation and dangerous rhetoric that endangers people’s lives, you didn’t actually believe in what you were saying. At the height of Covid, people like you spread so much misinformation that others died listening to them. And you’re still not backing down despite knowing better. And for what? Just for talking points ? Mtchew basilico: basilico: |
I don’t click on any links you guys share on here. You should know that by now. Don’t share a link and ask me to go read it. I don’t trust any of you chronically online fishers. As for social distancing, it is a proven method to mitigate spread of droplet borne diseases. You guys often choose to extract the least bit of knowledge from an opportunity where you could learn so much. And then refuse to expand your worldview because you’re fine with sticking to whatever confirms your bias. Social distancing works. The scientific discussion is what amount of social distancing is adequate. That’s where the 6-feet rule comes in. Some scientists are not sure if 6-feet is enough. While some think it’s adequate. Depending on the size of the causal organism and their air buoyancy, some might travel further than others in the air. That’s what he means by the 6-feet is not a magic rule. It doesn’t mean he recommended social distancing out of thin air. In fact the more distance the better. A true scientist who is not ego-driven learns from changing circumstances and updates their behavior and recommendations based on it. IF he was initially against masking and then changed his opinion, it’s because he reviewed the studies of fellow scientists, the mechanism of spread and realized masking was good. At first he told people who were rushing to the stores to hoard masks and PPE not to do that because it could lead to a shortage for healthcare workers dealing with actually infected people. It wasn’t until they studied the virus more and realize asymptomatic people could spread it too, did he change his opinion and recommend universal masking. And that was the appropriate thing to do. That’s the mindset of a scientist. Their recommendations are not based on ego or rooted in stone. It evolves with studies and evidence. I can tell you for free that the more distance you put between yourself and a sick person, the better for you. Take the free advice and keep yourself safe. If you think it’s not science-based, go to your nearest hospital, stand by someone with tuberculosis and have them cough in your face. Until you’re willing to do that, anything you are saying is ludicrous and not worth considering. basilico:
|
basilico:How does one reason with someone who thinks social distancing and masking are conjured up preventative measures? How? You don’t think keeping one’s distance from an infected person and covering up your mouth around others can limit the spread of disease? If you really truly think this, you’re actually beyond help. Why don’t you go to a hospital filled with sick people, hug the infected patients and have them breathe in your face since it’s all conjured up? My Gosh. your deliberate choice to toe the line of incredulity is truly truly exhausting. Lord have mercy. |
Only in your delusional reality basilico: |
You ramble a lot of right wing jargon. I will not waste my time responding to all of them. But an employer has the right to terminate your employment if you pose a risk to other employees or clients. Anyone who refuses to vaccinate for a contagious illness is a risk to others. Yes they have the right to refuse a vaccine but other people do not consent to getting infected by them. Your right ends where the wellbeing of another person begins. The best solution is to terminate the employment so that everyone can keep their right. The employee’s right to refuse a vaccine stays honored and their colleagues can also keep their right to not be exposed to a preventable illness. Everyone wins. basilico: |
kodded:Right. Because we are dealing with a very rational president who wouldn’t go after people for hurting his emotions. |
Dr Fauci is a national treasure and I applaud him for standing up to Rand Paul and these republicans who forget the millions of people who did not die because of Dr Fauci’s expertise. We need to remember that COVID-19 was a novel virus and much of the protocol was “a learn as you go” situation. God bless Dr. Fauci for doing his very best to keep Americans informed and protected! It's crazy that people don't understand science yet feel justified in crucifying those who do the best they can based on their vast knowledge and experience in a rapidly evolving public health emergency. This is all a disgraceful witch hunt to satisfy a personal vendetta while deflecting attention from much more critical and current crises. |
basilico:I’m assuming a typo. Okay what happened when the WHO corona task force actually innovated and produced an injection to combat the virus? What did you guys do? You demonized it and turned it into what it wasn’t. No one believes anything you guys say because you don’t even know what you’re saying half the time. Nothing is utterly impossible in real science .debatable but I don’t want to drag you down a knowledge path that will confuse and discombobulate you. Was trying to make it simple for you .laughable 🤣 |
ijebosb:I honestly feel sorry for trashing him sometimes. But he makes it too easy |
GloriousGbola:I’m sick of republicans 🤣 |
basilico:you’re not making the point you think you are making. It is still a steupid line of thought. Accept that move on So if I asked you if there any way you can give me a child so that I can propagate my genes,,😝😝😝 ,Well that would mean you’re sharing the st***pid-man title with Trump too. Because everyone will immediately look at you and say that was a weird unrelated question to ask. You can’t even come up with a decent analogy to attempt to drive your argument home. |
![]() GloriousGbola: |
basilico:Yes because you guys were already turning it into a racist mongrels fest due to Trump’s rhetorics. They so wisely chose not to fan the racist flames he was igniting. Not to mention that covid viruses are not new. This was just a new mutation. Why would they rename it specifically to appease Trump’s racism? There are a few mutations of the HIV virus. Do want them all renamed based on the area they were first discovered? Here is his full video asking doctors about all the possibilities of beating the virus. He muses it would be good if they could come up with UV or a bleach agent that would knock out the virus in minutes from the lungs.Which is where the virus attacks..Yes because he’s a steupid man. Watch the video. He is asking those Fauci doctors what possibilities are within the horizon at that particular time.Again he’s a steupid man. I don’t need to re-watch the video that I’ve watched a million times before, just so that I can gaslight myself (the way you have) into believing he’s making sense. You don’t even have to be an expert to recognize the stupidity of that moment. Middle schoolers taking elementary school biology wouldn’t ask those questions. Makes me wonder if he even passed high school. He has kept his transcripts hidden so we’ll never know. How did he cause it to spread given the backdrop. He formed a taskforce at the WH headed by Mike Pence with Fauci and Dr Birx at the taskforce.Let’s start from him dismantling the pandemic response system Obama had set in place because he can’t stand having Obama’s name on things. His ego and hate for Obama has done a lot damage to Americans. That action alone set America back weeks in our initial response. And when the information was provided to him early in the year (Jan) that there was to be an outbreak on our hands soon, he refused to act on it for months until it was too late (April). Can we talk about his demonization of scientific recommendations that led to people forming conspiracy theories (like you) and ignoring safety guidelines thereby putting themselves and their neighbors at significant risk? That’s not something he did wrong? His administration mismanaged PPE availability and distribution because he never prioritized it. He said masking was voluntary. Look I’m not interested in rehashing 2019 politics with you because I’m sure all this has been said by me or others before, but you guys tend to ignore facts when it doesn’t align with your narrative. So pls stop wasting my time. Fauci is worse than that German doctor Memgel or something. Dr Fauci was running the show .The taskforce removed all obstacles that would have taken 20 years plus to roll out a vaccine. Every COVID action Trump took had Fauci input..Every action.as the chief advisor to the WH COVID taskforce.I’m sure you didn’t know Fauci until republicans told you to hate him. That’s how much of your own autonomous thinking you’ve handed over to them. Dr Fauci on IVM and HCL. He blocked them so big pharma could sell the vaccine .You don’t even think before you lie. Where was ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine blocked? In America? The same medications that MAGA fools were getting from their farmer neighbors and guzzling to their own detriment? How were they getting it if it was blocked? Oh you mean Fauci didn’t instruct healthcare workers to give these medications to covid patients? Yea no, that’s not how health science works. No doctor or nurse worth their salt will administer a medication that hasn’t been studied and rolled out for a particular disease even if Jesus himself commands it. Me and my colleagues will resign before we risk our licenses to give a medication that hasn’t been approved just because MAGA has a conspiracy theory about it. I don't think you can hold.my muster when it comes to covid-19. You are too biased for heaven's sake.Too biased out of ignorance or lack of knowledge.More maga drivel. You are the most amusing poster on this thread. I’ll give you that. |
You people still don’t feel embarrassed using this defense? “He asked is there a way we can inject bleach?” Is that’s so different from me saying he asked us to drink bleach? Pls use your thinking cap well before responding. This is premium slowness at work. Drink, inject bla bla bla, the fact is that he’s standing in a public office where hundreds of millions are looking up to him for guidance and he’s suggesting /inquiring (however you want to frame it) about putting bleach in the human body. And your concern is that I’m using drink while he meant inject. As if any route would make a difference to the harm it could cause Y’all are abhorrent. I know it was the accumulation of embarrassment from this incident and other similar events that made him turn so violently against Fauci. He embarrassed himself publicly and he’s taking it out on the man who had the wisdom and knowledge to know better. A smarter man who people looked up to instead of him. basilico: |
basilico:I wasn’t even on this thread in 2019. How do you know what I called him then? That’s how you assume and lie. Regarding bleach , he asked doctors behind him in a press conference whether they can come up with something to hit the lungs directly and kills the virus. He asked Fauci and Dr Birx spefically if I'm right. He never told anyone to drink bleach ,anyone who drank bleach is an im..becile who’s not worth breathing the same air as I do.Rewrite history as much as you like, he asked a stupid question borne of the deepest ignorance anyone in modern history can muster. A 5 year old wouldn’t have asked that. And that’s who we are supposed to listen to instead of a career scientist? Shame on all of you for giving up the use of your thinking faculties for party politics. Democrats and Fauci did and still do everything to blame Trump for COVID. Explain what Nancy Pelosi meant when she said covid will be Trump's Katrina. We don’t blame him for causing it. we are not dvmb like republicans who go on wild fishing conspiracies that don’t make sense. We blame him for his handling of it and causing unnecessary excess deaths than would’ve happened if he stood up early on and led the country like a sensible leader. Fauci I wrote years ago will die a broken nan.You can try, hope, pray and wish that your fellow ghouls will be successful in harming the man who has spent his life serving Americans. But everyone can see you’re the broken man. So, I don’t need to tell you that what you wish for him could happen to you. It has already happened to you. I doubt this is who you were in the past. Something is irreparably broken and I am sure there’s no fixing it. Normal people just look at you and laugh and move on with their lives. You may know but your knowledge is within the corridors of Trump hatred.Trump can’t even tell the difference between DNA and RNA. He wouldn’t know the difference between the reproductive/replication cycles of a bacteria versus a virus. Meanwhile I had to have 4.0 in biochemistry, microbiology and organic chemistry to even get admitted into my healthcare program. Both you and him are loudmouth ignoramuses in this field as far as I am concerned. My knowledge is enhanced (not limited) by rejecting the egos of men like Trump in healthcare settings. Ego has no place here. He got his feelings hurt because people wanted to listen to scientists instead of him. And for that ego bruise he suffered, millions of people died that didn’t need to. We will never forgive him for that. I sincerely hope you don't look at what parties your patients voted for.Thankfully, political party of affiliation is not a question on the triage and intake assessment. And if anyone is well enough to yap about politics from their hospital bed, then they need to be discharged so they continue recovery at home. I only care for acutely ill patients. None of them is well enough to worry about politics when they’re trying not to die. |
basilico:Some of those death were avoidable. Trump was told ahead of time before it became widespread and he chose to ignore expert advice on preventing the spread. The blood is on his hand. Fauci was the one dictating policy on COVID exerting ubdue influence on the WHO ,the intelligence community and the medical profession in general. They listened to Fauci not to Trump.Obviously because he’s the expert. I know y’all’s orange buffoon with little man syndrome hates when people don’t worship him. But I’m sorry to break it to you, no healthcare professional in their right mind would listen to Trump over Fauci. So we can all drink bleach like he said we should? Nonsense The mess you talk Biden cleared was created by Fauci .I’m glad he refused to play their silly game. If there's someone who knows a lot about COVID outside of the medical field , I rank somewhere. I probably kbis a lot about it medically tgan you do. You’re a delulu malu 🤣🤣🤣 |
basilico:Are you crying? |
basilico:I’ll buy one |
basilico:you and who? You really think anyone pays attention and remembers the gibberish you spit on here? That's a plain lieCovid started in 2019. Trump left in 2020 (ish). Biden entered and spent four years cleaning up trump’s ego driven covid mess. Do you expect more people to die in the one year that Trump was overseeing Covid than the four years Biden spent fixing his mess? Logic really isn’t your forte |
One thing about Trump, when he fails, his ego will never let him rest. He will try everything to change the narrative and convince the public he’s not the failure that he actually is.
|
Dr. Fauci is an American hero, who led this nation through a most difficult time and, successfully established the healing process. It is incredible and most un-American that Senators like Sen. Moreno and Sen. Rand Paul would attempt to dishonor and discredit this most noble and courageous man. Calm, dignified, and transparent. The world owes Fauci a medal.
|
basilico:I didn’t think I’d have to explain to you that higher recruitment due to the lower standards is not the same as high morale among the already existing service members. Mind you they needed to lower standards in the first place because people aren’t interested in joining anymore. Does that support your argument of high morale? Generally a lot of people don't want the war in Iran owing to lethargy and negative hits from the media and politiciansTwo pages ago you said the opposite. The serving are not trading bullets so far ,it's not a ground war which many find unpalatable.Yet they’re somehow ending up dead and we are receiving the wounded week after week. Pls speak only of what you know! |
basilico:Did the news that Hegseth desperately relaxed recruiting rules to allow old men and drug users to get recruited, not make it to your timeline? I bet you chose to ignore that bit because it doesn't fit your lopsided narrative.
|
basilico:And so? |
The American general public does not support this war. (See consensus pulled from several sources and summarized below) But you’ll believe whatever conservative-washed reality you’re want to believe. Therefore I’m not interested in convincing you. And even if in some weird reality you’re right (you’re not)and the general public supports the war, the military are a distinct population whose actual lives and limbs are on the line. Permit me to say you’re not using your full thinking capabilities if you’re inclined to believe their morale will match the general public who don’t have to be at the frontlines of the war. Gosh. The things one has to explain to certain grown men boggles the mind. basilico:
|
What does rambling this have to do with military service members morale? basilico: |
You’re engaged in conversations above your bandwidth. Other administrations never needed to lie to Purple Heart families and the public to boost morale. As someone who serves alongside the military, I’m going to tell you for a fact that there’s nothing more demoralizing than having your sacrifice downplayed by liars and ghouls to soothe their egos. Morale is at an all time low right now because of this administration. And their lying and obfuscating is not helping issues. Imagine going to war not knowing if your corpse will be left behind or your name scratched off the KIA list so that some sweaty smelly egomaniacs can look good on paper. You’re a very ridiculous human being for saying this. Soldiers do not need to be lied to in order to boost morale. They need respect. They need their sacrifices acknowledged and compensated. They need to know that it is worth dying for. They need their honor. Stfu please basilico: |
basilico:It’s a shame that when a soldier dies, the govt wants to lie and deny that it happened. Nothing kills morale faster than sweeping aside the sacrifices of those who gave their lives. Soldiers know that they might die but the honor can sometimes make it worth it to them. Their families get compensated for their sacrifices and their name makes it into the immortal halls of military service fame. Disregarding that historical practice will surely make it so that no one will be willing to take the risk. If you take that away, what would be the motivation? But reason is not your strong suit so I don’t expect you to understand. |
