Or he could go back in time and stop his stuepid self from starting the steupid war. basilico: Just asking. Iran is firing at commercial vessels mostly carrying oil or gas An oil spill would poison fish and damage marine ecosystems. To me firing at non combatants at war , that could easily lead to willfully damaging mother earth is more serious than taking out bridges or power stations . What you think ? Which one you think is worse?
Or maybe Trump should just pull out the troops , let Iran charge oil tankers extortion money , then go ahead and develop a nuke. All the while chanting Death to America and Israel every single Friday. Maybe the principal never negotiate with terrorists should be shelved. |

Couldn’t have said this better. Trump is a master at making fools of his followers. Allen Clifton: Donald Trump just posted something that highlights a few really bad and embarrassing things about him and how people view this country.
First, threatening war crimes is extremely serious. And yes, a president threatening to target civilian infrastructure, such as power plants, "including those located next to, or in, the Capital City of Tehran," constitutes a threat to commit a war crime.
Which is exactly what Trump did this morning — again.
As many recall, he made similar threats back in March. You know, way... way back when we had "won" this war for the first five or six times. We've "won" it roughly 40 times now, by this president's estimation.
Another thing this highlights is just how unhinged and deranged this president is. It's not even that shocking anymore to see someone in his position publicly threatening to commit war crimes. With any other president, repeatedly threatening to openly commit war crimes would be a major scandal.
With Trump, it's literally just another Wednesday.
Which brings me to my next point — and maybe why my second point is what it is: almost no one takes him seriously.
Could he follow through on this? Of course he could. He's mentally unwell, a failing president, and he's becoming more desperate by the day.
The problem is that whether or not he follows through on this threat is largely irrelevant because few people take these ramblings from him seriously. That's what happens when you have a president who lies faster than people can fact-check him.
You know, the kind of president who claims they "totally obliterated" a nation's nuclear capabilities last year while citing the reason they started a war months later as being to "prevent them from having a nuclear weapon" — a justification that clearly contradicts the earlier claim of the "total obliteration" of that nation's nuclear program. Yet those are still the two talking points he's sticking to. Two conflicting statements that cannot possibly both be true, but that's the story he's going with.
Or a president who has repeatedly made claims that simply aren't backed by reality, such as saying Iran's military has been "totally destroyed" even as it continues launching attacks on other nations and American lives have recently been lost. I'm not sure how a non-existent military can keep attacking other countries.
Then there's the aforementioned 40-plus times this president has claimed we've "won" the war, even though it's clearly still ongoing, with no end in sight.
That's not "4-D chess." It's just lying and incompetence.
When a nation has a president who rambles like a crazy drunk at a local bar, incoherently making wild claims and pushing nonsensical conspiracy theories, who has a reputation for making bold declarations only to immediately backtrack by saying, "They want to make a deal, so I've decided to delay..." — people eventually stop taking the raving lunatic seriously.
Which is quite the testament, considering this is the President of the United States we're talking about.
The last main point this post proves is just how increasingly desperate Trump is becoming. From Fox News hosts to members of Congress, we're seeing more and more people on his side openly tell him he needs to find a way to end this. Even they're running out of bullsh*t excuses to keep defending what I think will go down as one of — if not the — most incompetent acts by a president in this nation's history.
Trump has no plan. Trump has no strategy. Trump has no leverage.
He never has.
This president really believed Iran was going to go just like Venezuela. So when it didn't, he had absolutely no idea what to do.
Let's be real here: they never once — not at all — had any plan for what would happen if the Iranians closed the Strait of Hormuz.
Absolutely none.
Which is why we're essentially five months into this war, heading into the sixth, with little to no sign that it will be ending anytime soon. Instead, we have a flailing president and a Republican Party barreling toward a midterm election they desperately don't want to face while this war of Trump incompetence (or, as I sometimes call it, "Trumpcompetence" is still ongoing.
And here's the thing: Iran knows that — which is exactly why this president has no leverage.
This is just a sad and embarrassing time for this country. We have a president who is so mentally unhinged, erratic, and such an international joke that his threatening war crimes is largely shrugged off because he's such a lowlife, unethical piece of crap and such a blowhard that few people take him very seriously at all.
Yet MAGA thinks the world respects the United States more than ever?
That belief, in and of itself, proves what a brainwashed, delusional cult it is. There's not a nation on Earth — ally or rival — that respects this country more now with Donald Trump as president.
It's either our allies, who loathe us right now; our enemies, who are laughing at us; or the handful of nations that know Trump is naïve and foolish enough to be manipulated, bribed, and played for their own interests.
But trust me, absolutely no one respects this nation more with this orange buffoon as president. No one.

It irks me that there are people incapable of recognizing the truth of others’ experiences unless it happens to them personally. That’s the default setting of conservatives. This is what happens when you spend years demonizing empathy.
Laura Loomer just admitted she was propagandized by Russia for five years, and she only figured it out because she heard air raid sirens with her own ears.
Think about what that means…these people cannot process suffering as information. They can only process it as experience. That’s why they shrugged at kids in cages, shrugged at deportation raids, shrugged at scapegoating immigrants, shrugged at entire communities living in fear. It never happened to them, so it never happened.
And take a wild guess which party amplified all that Russian propaganda? Still happening btw…

This is your typical right winger. Obsessed with other men’s peri-anal issues while comfortably ignoring monsters in their own party. A 46-year-old neo-Confederate, Charley Chronister, of Westmoreland, TN has been booked into the Sumner County jail on charges of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse.
According to NewsChannel 5, Chronister called police himself. When they arrived, they found a body. Detectives say he admitted to arguing with the victim — his mother’s cousin — before beating her to death with a hammer. He then allegedly stripped the body, tried to clean up the blood, and sexually assaulted the corpse.
He’s being held without bond. The victim’s identity hasn’t been released.
His Facebook is a decade-long shrine to MAGA-style grievance politics — featuring him proudly declaring “I WILL NOT APOLOGIZE for being christian,” sharing a Confederate flag-wrapped newborn welcomed to “DIXIE,” reposting a “Christian genocide” rant from Jeanine Pirro, sharing an image of an assault weapon painted with a Confederate flag “to piss off a liberal,” and mocking refugees while posing as a champion for homeless veterans under the “America first” banner. He even shared a shirt printed with Ezekiel 25:17 — vengeance and “the tyranny of evil men.” Turns out the evil was coming from this Bible-thumper.
Every flag, every scripture verse, every “America First” meme — just camouflage.

We are being led by a bunch of asinine buffoons 4 out of 6 medical experts contacted by Reuters said there’s no solid evidence that mandatory testosterone screening would improve combat readiness. Medical guidelines only recommend testosterone for patients with confirmed deficiency and symptoms. Prescribing it without that — which this plan risks — could cause infertility and other serious long-term harm.
The Pentagon hasn’t explained how abnormal results will be evaluated, or whether the screening applies equally to male and female service members, whose hormonal needs are completely different.
This is the same Pete Hegseth — a Fox News host turned defense secretary with zero medical training — who reversed the military’s flu vaccine mandate with no scientific basis, then had to walk it back after a flu outbreak hit the troops.
This administration keeps making medical decisions for service members without medical evidence.

There’s no place for neither sharia law nor Christian nationalism in civilized society. Well done Italy. Not usually a fan of the Death Penalty but I wouldn’t be strongly opposed to it in this scenario. No one should be allowed to use religion , culture or traditions to attempt to dictate how a woman lives her life and uses her body. Italy’s highest court has upheld the convictions of five Pakistani relatives involved in the murder of 18-year-old Saman Abbas, who was killed after rejecting a forced marriage and demanding the right to choose how she lived.
Her parents, Shabbar Abbas and Nazia Shaheen, and her cousins, Ijaz Ikram and Noman Ul Haq, were sentenced to life imprisonment. Her uncle, Danish Hasnain, received 22 years in prison. The Court of Cassation rejected their appeals, making the sentences final.
Saman was killed in Novellara, northern Italy, on the night of April 30 to May 1, 2021. Prosecutors said the murder was carefully planned as punishment because she had rejected a marriage to an older man in Pakistan, reported her parents for abuse, and insisted on choosing whom she loved, how she dressed and how she lived.
After she disappeared, her boyfriend raised the alarm. Surveillance footage showed relatives heading toward nearby fields with digging tools shortly before her disappearance. Her parents fled to Pakistan, while other family members attempted to escape through France and Spain before being arrested and extradited.
Saman’s remains were found in November 2022 near an abandoned farmhouse after her uncle provided information. An autopsy confirmed that she had been strangled.
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said the final verdict ended a painful judicial saga and declared that Italy has no room for anyone who uses supposed cultural or religious justifications to deny a woman’s freedom, dignity and life.

I know our resident raakhuns agree Arizona pastor and "anti-woke" church leader Dale Partridge is facing heavy backlash for making remarks on social media in which he claimed Black people and other minority groups were meant to live under white rule.
Partridge promoted the view that diverse societies fail, claiming that God established specific "orders" and that Black people and other races were intended to live under white, Western leadership.
Critics immediately condemned the remarks, pointing out that the theological and political arguments he used echo racist ideologies and segregationist rhetoric from the past.
Observers highlighted that his views reflect a larger, extreme faction within the Christian nationalist movement that seeks to integrate deeply patriarchal and racially hierarchical ideas into modern political and social structures.

A non-steupid person would’ve considered what happens when a racist person is put into a position of authority. Can you change the course of a person’s life if a racist judge sentences them to life imprisonment when another person who committed same crime is given 10 years and get out in 5 years for “good behavior “? How about racist police who investigate themselves and find no wrong doing in their own actions? Therefore, crimes against communities of color get swept under the rug? The system is not racist but who makes up the system if not people? Did the dense “gentleman” consider that it’s a possibility that all those individually racist cops possibly arrest more black people at higher rates than other races so they can have skewed statistics of how black men are more inherently violent? As we can clearly see that they go after black Boys even when the described perpetrator is white. What if there was no evidence to exonerate said person? That marks the end of their life as we know it. Once you’re in the American prison system, it’s almost over for you. You can’t make a steupid person see reason.
