armyofone:God bless our troops. Amen. But they are already preparing to shaft it to the veterans who served the country and dedicated their youth/health to further the American cause. If they are able to get it done without heavy push back, they’re coming for the active troops benefits next. Anything to save a buck for the oligarchs. You’d think a govt like this would understand the benefits of a motivated military. Unless they plan to conscript the boys of poor families to fight for the country, they will have a hard time finding patriotic soldiers to fight in this war they’re inevitable courting by threatening our allies. |
basilico:Yet not one policy mentioned. Almost like we were right to recognize it’s just a culture war carefully crafted to be distracting and inflammatory. Christians do in fact say fire and hell stone will fall on unbelievers. If that’s not a threat I don’t know what is. What you mean to say is that minority groups have freedom like you do and that doesn’t sit well with you. You don’t like that you are not allowed to harass people without consequences, So you feel oppressed! Wait wait, are you saying that other races are oppressed because they can’t say the N word? And this is your evidence that democrats have extreme policies? Are you for real? You’re either a child, a doofus or a clown. For this specific comment about the N word never mention my moniker again. This is too slow for me to deal with pls. |
bemeruca:Lame response. Let me live obliviously without him in my head while he’s recklessly swinging his pen in ways that affect my and everyone else’s wellbeing. |
bemeruca:Let’s hope his reckless behavior didn’t cause this. Messing with federal agencies that control air traffic is not something any president has done before. |
Air traffic controllers are extremely important. Not a job to be messed with. Indiscriminately firing and freezing the hire of new ones causes panic in the sector and can lead to stuff like this. I guess investigations will reveal what actually happened. Let’s pray his recklessness was not the cause. And that his recklessness won’t lead to future disasters SpaceX: Yankee101: DrAda: Roboto11:

This a bit rambly but show me the policy pls.The specific policy that places LGBTQ people above non-LGBTQ. basilico:What does this mean? Pride flags are flown on embassies. Banned.okay and? If the embassies are choosing to do that, how does that place them above you? The question again is, where is the democrat policy that instructs embassies to fly pride flags? We have Black History month. Noone would dare declare a white history month🤦🏽♀️ why would white people need a white history month? We have BET . Noone would dare try launching a WET.[/quote]again 🤦🏽♀️ cisgenders are transphobic if they oppose trans in sports, prisons ,you don’t have to participate. Or commit crimes 2 gender choices on govt IDsPut the gender you are on your ID. Where’s the policy that forces you to put something else on there? Christians are well the most persecuted people but few raise their voices in support .Not in America we are not. In northern Nigeria maybe. But in America we’re the oppressors. Christians here feel persecuted if they can’t force others to live by biblical principles. As far their own personal lives, no one has ever stopped a Christian from living according to their religion. I’m free to go to church, display my religious faith in my personal space, pray at my own time. Wear Christian clothes etc. But I can’t try to convince others to join me especially in a professional environment. I can’t pray unsolicited for people who didn’t ask for it. I can’t choose a job in an establishment that’s funded by public money and then refuse service to members of the public whose money pays for same establishment just because they are “unchristian”. This is not persecution. I don’t feel persecuted by it at all. Because if a Muslims asked for the same liberty to foist their beliefs on me, I’d be livid. So I understand my boundaries and theirs. Keep your religion in your home. A quote about clinging to their guns was derogatory but noone said anything .?? |
bemeruca:Haha so funny 🙄 |
armyofone:I’m praying they find a solution |
Livelystone01:Me and anti spam bot today 😮💨 Here’s to hoping I don’t get banned again What was the specific LGBTQ policy that placed them above other people? Are you conflating rainbow people being loud on the internet and flashing their queer personalities with govt policy and laws? Because those are not the same. And I didn’t see any laws stopping non-LGBTQ people from being themselves either. So you may not care what people are doing in their bedrooms, buts it’s obvious you care that they exist publicly and that’s your personal bias. But we all have our biases. so, own it. Don’t claim it’s democratic policy placing them above others. |
Raumdeuter. I’m going to attempt to rephrase my earlier response to you without adding the links I used previously. Let’s see if I can skate by without getting banned again. Trump’s tax cuts show lower rates on paper. But he removed virtually all deductions that families use to save on taxes. So while their paper rate is lower, they’re owing more because their taxable income is now higher. The first year after his tax cuts went into play, people were shocked at how much they owed when they filed. Because they read the tax cut part but didn’t read the part where he made it so they couldn’t deduct as they usually would. This was all over the news then. I’m sure you remember. You’re right individual households’ situations differ. But if there’s something most middle class families have in common, it’s that they have kids, students, home maintenance expenses etc. so giving them a “cut” but removing their deductibles is like giving with one hand and taking with two. And I know he knows this. The only people his tax cuts favored were millionaires/billionaires and corporations who’s rates went from 35% to 21% and now he’s proposing 15% for them. The $500 tax cut the average person got but ended up owing thousands in back pay means nothing. |
We don’t want communism. And we don’t want unbridled capitalism either. It breeds oligarchs. Gets top heavy and collapses on itself. That’s how empires collapse . An unchecked oligarchy with fed up serfs. What could possibly go wrong? raumdeuter: |
bemeruca:Me. But I’m back. I hope |
nateevs:How else are we going to maintain our 250 military bases around the world? 😬 |
raumdeuter:They banned me and my kitchen account. I’m not sure if you can even read this. I had a whole response typed out for you. 😫😫 |
When you give a $500 tax cut but the family doesn’t get to deduct as much expenses they normally would, then they owe money because the IRS said they underpaid. Is that a tax cut? You know what you are doing. Stop it. raumdeuter: |
basilico:My taxes went up the first time Trump went into office. And he’s proposing to extend the same individual tax rates which are set to expire this year but cut taxes for corporations and billionaires from 21% to 15%. Usually people can deduct things like child care or home renovations etc from their taxes. I was not able to do either when Trump passed his first tax laws because he changed the things that people can deduct. He also reduced child tax credit. A lot of people who usually didn’t owe taxes after filing were owing when tax season came. Stick to your own personal taxes wherever it is you live. You’re not the one paying my taxes so you don’t tell me what I paid or didn’t pay. I’m being lied to by who? By my bank account that knows what went in and out of it? Why dont you come and educate me on what’s happening in my life? Ugh you are very irritating. |
raumdeuter:But republicans are increasing the taxes. What are you even saying? Trump’s tax plan increases taxes for everyone under $360k a year. And his first tenure too. Taxes went up for all regular folks.
|
armyofone:Unfortunately that’s an unavoidable side effect 😀 |
I’m glad you’ve come around A lot of ignorant people especially here in nairaland often equate DEI to blackness. No matter how you explain to them, they don’t have the capacity to understand Omoawoke: |
The unfortunate thing is that they were told this time and time again before they voted. People were shouting their voices hoarse trying to explain to them that voting for Trump was a vote against themselves. They turned a blind ear to it. They were more invested in hurting anyone who didn’t look like them or belong to their religion. He who the God’s want to kill, they first make mad. Tellmeastory: |
ObaIgwe1:💯💯 |
Yep. Unquestionably so. Don’t forget to add the place of women in their society and how it compares with the republican policies on women’s rights. The Venn diagram is a circle GloriousGbola: |
Glad you guys are responding to him on that topic. Because we’ve rehashed this same topic over and over before so he knows what my response is going to be. So posting it again to me means we have to go back and talk in circles AGAIN. Personal responsibility personal responsibility. But we use our billions to subsidize the mega wealthy. Who “innovate” ideas then privatize them at 1000% mark up the moment it becomes profitable. When they start failing, we bail them out with public funds. Give them year tax cuts in the millions and billions. Where’s their personal responsibility in all that? Meanwhile a republican lawmaker on TV is asking children to go to work after “all I was a paper boy before child labor laws”. That’s how far back they want to take us. Innovation is dying in America because people feel (rightly so) that the game is rigged and that they’ll never succeed. The whole hyper capitalist “give it all to the rich and hope their conscience will let them drop some crumbs upon the poor masses” is obviously not encouraging people to get creative and see what new things they can bring into the society. Where’s the time even? When most people are either at work or in traffic or in bed for the few hours of sleep they can get. The same people working day and night to get by can’t afford childcare, healthcare, parental leave, can’t buy homes, etc. any kind of policies to help them is frowned upon by republicans. Ask republicans to vote then for increased wages, they always vote no. They’re invested in maintaining a slave vs oligarch class. Funny enough half of their voters can’t even afford to go to the dentist yet they keep voting for them because they’re distracted by useless culture wars. ObaIgwe1: |
This is a good plan. I give FG thumbs up for once in their lives |
IjeBos:They choose to rewrite facts as they go. The more Trump does the project 2025 agenda, the more they’ll start to act like they never denied it was his goal. They might even start to brag about it. |
IjeBos:Shock and awe is the strategy. I never agree with Steven Bannon but on this one he’s right. And he bragged that it’s working. They’re intentionally causing maximum chaos so that everyone’s attention is scattered all over the place while they quietly achieve their goals for their broligarchs. It’s always going to be something chaotic happening every 8 hours. |
IjeBos:Right. They’ll be in court years from now fighting for their dues. Meanwhile Buy them out and replace them with bootlickers who won’t challenge him when he is about to do something unconstitutional. And who even elected Musket? |
basilico:Or maybe judge just wants children to be able to get education |
