prekumohtim:After this group stage, there will be play off between leaders of different groups. Na that stage go hard. |
Donshegxy10:But Biggie punished them after Liquorose had won the HOH game. See, just know the show just didn’t want both wild cards to progress so far . |
Dotez:That would have been too obvious. They know what they are doing. The previous week when Maria won it, she would have saved Pere. But then, all of a sudden, Big Brother said no one will go home that week. Then the next week, he punished Pere and Maria right before the nomination by saying they cannot be saved because he knew that the new HOH (Liquorose) would likely save Maria. Reason it na. Why didn’t he punish them on Sunday in the live show? I think behind the scenes, people have expressed their displeasure that people who came in as wild cards are surviving more than normal housemates. |
15 people for nomination today! Why didn’t big brother do this for last week? It’s obvious he just wanted either Maria or Pere to go, especially when he cancelled their save and replace chances. |
doyin01:Forget that thing. There is difference between Mercy’s fairness and Maria’s fairness and sophistication. Maria stood no chance from us the bias voters right from the day she walked in the house! |
Iyaebe:It’s fellow ladies that hate, not all Nigerians. Me as a guy, I like whity sef. The truth is that the average Nigerian babe can’t stand a fairer more pretty lady. On a good day, fair fine babe nor go drag with them for real life, but since it is now a reality show, the viewers, who are 90% female see it like it is their pay-back time for any fine babe. It’s like when you give a woman power, they abuse it more than men would. It gives them satisfaction to be able to f*ck up a fine girl. Only way Maria would have stood a chance is if she would scrub the floor and wash all the housemates’ clothes every day, and then the female viewers would say she is humble. But as far as she is half-caste, any attitude she displayed would be seen as unforgivable rudeness. |
It’s the worst BBN season ever! The organisers don’t even know what is good for them. They think they always have to do what most viewers want every time. They could have evicted only two people, or at least put all for nomination this past week and then weed out the more boring people. By now, the organizers should know the housemates who give them content and those who don’t. Viewers have a say, but many don’t mind removing a competitor to their favorite. The onus is now on the organisers to try to keep such entertaining housemates till towards the end of the show. I don’t think headline sponsors will put in 3 billion naira in future seasons if this continues. We the viewers are the cause, too! Right from the beginning of a season, many of us just look to the end and already have a winner in our minds, and want to eliminate any competition whether that competition is exciting or not. We are just not emotionally matured enough to watch reality programs. Las las, the BBN seasons in the future will become boring because no housemate will want to come out of their shell for fear that voters will kick them out, and the show will come to a natural end due to lack of sponsors. |
The show has no plan, or will I say, it is poorly organized. Every week, whatever just enters their mind, the so-called Big Brother just does. How can Big Brother use Maria and dump her just like that? If she had known, when she was HOH, she should have refused to do that stupid “make the housemates impress you, or nominate six people for fake eviction” task. Even Ebuka too tried to make her select 2 people to go home, on Sunday live show! You used her to entertain us and you didn’t protect her enough. She deserved to remain in the house till the last day judging by the content she gave, especially when you still have some more boring people in the house: at least, you could have put everyone for nomination the week after she was HOH. Viewers deserve some blame too. Naturally, any pretty lady that participates in BBN always has haters from the viewers, who are mostly female (cos many ladies kind of beef themselves). The fact she is half-caste and a bold person even adds to the hate. Big Brother made the housemates never trust her because she executed the fake nomination thing excellently well, in addition to the fact that she had to pretend she wasn’t a wild card to survive the first week. Maria is a strong lady, while BBN is a wack, poorly planned show and should be scrapped from our television until the organizers do a better job on planning it. Good riddance! |
crazymommy:https://www.sfaf.org/collections/beta/heres-why-you-test-positive-for-hiv-if-youre-undetectable/ This link will help you understand more.
|
crazymommy:https://www.avert.org/living-with-hiv/antiretroviral-treatment/what-does-undetectable-mean From the link you posted, I think this is what is confusing you. Because you saw “by standard tests”, you automatically thought they mean antibody tests with strips. That’s wrong. “Standard tests” abroad where they have facilities for PCR/viral load tests everywhere is not the same thing as “standard tests” here in Nigeria. In the link, I can bet you that they are referring to the PCR/viral load tests as their standard tests, not the ordinary rapid antibody strip tests we do here in HIV screening.
|
crazymommy:What do you do for a living? If you are a medical personnel, then your licence for practicing what you do should be revoked! Stop arguing and demonstrating your ignorance! The fact is this: ONCE YOU TEST POSITIVE FOR HIV USING THE ANTIBODY STRIPS WHICH PEOPLE CALL HIV SCREENING, YOU WILL BE POSITIVE FOR LIFE, WHETHER YOUR VIRAL LOAD IS UNDETECTABLE LATER ON WHEN You USE HIV DRUGS! If you still argue, then you have a thick skull. |
azpekuliar:Bros na lie. Once you test positive with the HIV strips, you will be positive for life with the test strips which test for antibodies (the antibodies in HIV people remain for life). However, if you do PCR test (which only very few advanced labs do) which checks for the virus itself, it will be undetectable if the person is on HIV drugs. (This “UNDETECTABLE”, is not the same as “negative” o). Once you positive, you are positive FOR LIFE, judging by your antibodies! |
In my life, I’ve had exposures with 2 different HIV ladies (no protection). What saved me was strips in my house after the action, and the post-exposure drugs I took almost immediately. For the first lady, we were just starting to date, and she didn’t even know her status, until after the first intimacy we had, and when we casually tested in my house that same day with the HIV strips, we found out she was positive. The next day, I started HIV post-exposure prophylaxis for 30 days o, no time. Later, we broke up because she opened up to me that she was seeing another guy, actually. And me sef, my mind no carry her again. For the second lady, she knew she was positive, but didn’t tell me. One day, we started ‘action’ with protection, but for some reason, we ended up without protection, after which my come clear (reason why you should know your partner’s status before you start anything o, whether you wan use condom or not). I then told her ‘let’s do test in my house since I have strips’. She initially refused and said she was scared of needle pricks, but when I got angry, she confessed that she was positive and she only found out 5 months ago, but that she was now on HIV drugs. I thought she was joking o, but after we tested in my house, she was really positive. I weak again. I just drove her home to be sure she was on drugs. She showed me the drugs, and I immediately knew those were the same drugs I used for my post-exposure prophylaxis after my first exposure with my ex. Omo, I just asked her for one tablet and swallowed one tablet from her drugs to start my post-exposure prophylaxis right there. The next day, I went to hospital to get new supply for the 30-days prophylaxis. Anyways, later on, we reduced our friendship and communication. We are still friends, though. After over six months after the exposure, I am still HIV-negative. That is the end of my story.Condom is good, but please, test any body you want to start having sex regularly with. And please even try to test them regularly, and hope they are faithful, while you must be faithful too, or at least test whomever you want to do away match with. HIV no dey kill jare. It’s just the stress of taking drugs every day for the rest of your life. And by the way, the first HIV lady got married recently to a HIV-negative man, I believe, because she told me that even HIV-negative guys were asking her out a lot even when they knew she was positive, cos she fine. |
I just think sha that this is a setup against Rohr. It’s like they want to sack him! So they are making home use the local players, & then, they will say he isn’t good! And then sack him. |
Snakebytee:Abeg shurrup jor! Nigeria na country before? |
Ekpekus:Make them catch cruise na. Las las na still ordinary friendly match. It’s just a lesson for us Nigerians to know our Nigeria-based players ain’t anything. |
The only positive thing I see is our keeper’s long throw. That guy throw be like shot! ![]() |
fartkay:Lozano played the shot to the keeper’s hand. So, the keeper could not hold the ball. I’ll blame our defender that didn’t have pace to protect the ball. |
I even surprise say US even give these players visa. Make them nor escape from hotel, run inside US o . Because it’s looking like they didn’t come to play football. |
Until our economy improves, no way sports including football can improve. With a good economy, plenty children from an early age will be registered in football academies, with access to good football kits, training facilities, etc. Once you start training in standard good football (not “monkey post football” without boot o) from a young age, no way you won’t be good! Only very few exceptional players grown in Nigeria can compete at the international level. For now, we can only rely on our foreign players, and we should even consider more those who grew up abroad as Super Eagles first team! |
See our striker dey dribble himself so try e slip, instead of scoring. |
Nahum777:Na that one be your problem now? |
This match go reach 8 |
Up Mexico. We are winning. |
biggestman:Well, I have taken the PEP twice now. The first one, I was really scared. But for the second one, it was really easy on me. The drugs really work if started within a day after exposure and daily regimen strictly adhered to. You will be fine, I believe. Any symptoms you have may be due to any anxiety you could have. All the best. It’s over 6 months since my exposure and beginning of my last PEP, and I’m still negative. So, I guess I’m good. I hope you will be , too. |
Did you guys see Moses Simon’s miss? ![]() |
zoputa:Kai! People don abuse and bastardize Jesus name tire for this thread! Jesus sef don tire for you . Still surprised people are still hoping for the EH list! Until the advert of the next recruitment, that’s when most people’s eyes will clear. My only consolation is that I did not return the extra double tfare them Farouk and Anyam gave to me that time . Na that one for pain me pass. This country don dabaru finish. No hope again for this generation o. ![]() |
white3663:You can get HIV strips from pharmacies that do wholesales, not the retail pharmacies on most streets o. A roll of 10 strips costs 1,500 to 2,000. Then you can buy disposable syringes (2ml type preferably because 2ml are the smaller needles which will cause less pain) if you know how to withdraw blood from veins. All the best. |
Khonifer:Blood tests are also for antibodies. But a Viral load blood test is different from the normal antibody blood test. Did it cost you money? Also please what hospital? It was free, but there would be lot of questioning from the doctor because you would have to see a doctor first, and then some documentations will have to be done. The process was easy and swift for me because I worked in the hospital at one time in the past; for another person, the process will definitely not be this fast. I can’t mention the hospital name, sorry; also, I’m probably not in the same city with you. |
Just back from the hospital with the PEP. The drug is exactly the one the babe uses. I’ll return the tablet I took from the babe yesterday when I started the PEP with her drugs so that I don’t short her of her medication. Hopefully in 3 months time after an antibody test, I should be fine. Please guys, play safe o.
|
Khonifer:Undetectable is not by using the strips. Being undetectable is by viral load (PCR) blood test. Test strips which check for antibodies will always be positive for life. |
After I took HIV post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) last year after a potential HIV exposure and which turned out to be successful cos I’ve been negative since then, I’m in another mess again o due to another babe I met not too long. We had something today (protected sex at first which later turned unprotected), and I then suggested we do a test cos I always have test strips in my house. She refused initially, but after my anger, she agreed. But before we even did it, she said she was positive. I thought she was joking o, until I did for both of us in my house, and really, she was positive—2 bands on her strip while my strip had 1 band. My only consolation is that she is on drugs (she said she started her HIV drugs June/July this year immediately after she found out about her status), but I don’t know whether her drugs have kicked in enough to make her have undetectable viral load in her body. Well, I just drove her home to be sure she was really taking the HIV drugs, and she truly showed me her drugs. To cut the story short, I just asked her for one tablet of her drugs, and I took it right there to start my post-exposure prophylaxis, since it is the same as the PEP drugs. Hopefully, I will properly continue the PEP drug schedule from tomorrow when I go to one private hospital like that and get my own drugs, and I really hope I get the drugs tomorrow o. |
