I just Discussed with an NNPC Staff and he reconfirmed that there is no way NNPC will not need Experienced Hire considering the fact that about 170 full staff will be retiring Mid November 2020 and another circa 200 in February 2021. The staff is not in a position to speculate any date for notificationss but you can work out a time frame when you think NNPC will need you considering those retirements and Interviews/Promotions.

Goal post has been shifted again to February 2021. What of the staffs that retired this year? Their exit did not create space at all?

What I heard o: a fellow EH applicant friend called a staff who replied him that they are writing their exams presently. The plan is that those who pass will be promoted and some who don’t would be paid off/retired, and that the EH Recruitment is still on.

My extrapolation is this: the recruitment is still on, but EH may be called much later, as a lot of processes and structuring of the corporation will take time. So, I will put my mind for next year. Just my thoughts o.

Please anyone with useful info should help. A friend of mine who works there told me that EH recruitment has been cancelled. She got in during 2012 recruitment. But the info I am getting from this platform says otherwise. Please if you have the right info, I'd be grateful.

Ask your friend like this, ‘When did they cancel it? Was it before or after the GMD’s interview where he said that the EH recruitment is still on?’ If your friend had no idea of the GMD’s interview, then konk him or her for me.

Most info suggests that the list has been ready since late June/ first few days in July. I think, it is fair to say that the list will be released before the end of August/ at most early September. I just pray that nothing comes up to cause further delay.

When people like this are part of the applicants, why won’t MKK say that the EH delay is due to the applicants not fit/possessing adequate skills for the jobs? Only God knows what the interview panels saw during the EH interviews.
