Its single cell as it has one fan. But thats how ot was bought. The fan have been worked in before. When i pour water on the condenser it starts cooling well. Once it dries up, it stops working. Cools to a fault early mornings or nights. Means it has to do with the condenser cooling. Again the thermostat does not kick in for a while....guess, cos the AC not working well

the condenser is not doing its job, it either the fan or the condenser, heat exchange, heat exchange, small sense no good.

Make we explain how this thing works, you no gree, okay na stop using the ac system. That water you poured on the condenser cools the condenser and removes heat from the hot refrigerant that is comming from the compressor, if it does not do it on its own, maybe the fan is not blowing well, try using your house fan and place it in front of the condenser and see what happens,
for me I will check the condenser for blockage using an infrared thermometer, or If you can, just replace the condenser and the fan. Since that is what you want.

Heads up....i took the car for scan but didnt meet the guy incharge of the scan, after i explained the issue to some other guys i met there, they refered me to another guy in the vicinity who they described as an expert in gear repairs. On checking the gear the self-acclaimed expert told me that my transmission oil is extremely bad and the gear oil filter is broken. He poured out the oil and brought out the filter, lo and behold the oil is very thick, black and smelly and also the filter is torn. He has gone to get fresh oil and a new filter. Will keep this space updated with the outcome.

insert your finger into the oil he brought out of the tranny feel for gritty particles, if there is none, then rejoice and put the recommended tranny oil for UR car, if there are gritty particles , then sorry.

When you switch on the AC, the car's idle sound changes, right? So now the car needs more energy to run, because it (the compressor) must pressurise the system, the energy to do that is gotten from the engine, which means more fuel, Energy cannot be created or destroyed but can only be converted from one form to the other. Just as Gazzuz said, it's a catalytic converter efficiency bellow threshold code, which can be caused by misfire, that is raw gasoline being pumped into the cat, from one or more cylinders that do not contribute to the engine power output, which to me partly explains the inability of the car to accelerate, so if I were you I would stop driving the car until it is fixed, you may end up frying the catalytic converter.

For a cylinder to contribute, to the power or for an engine to run, there must compression, fuel and spark at the exact right time, so we must know which cylinders are missing fire, and why, before anything is changed.

You need a scan tool not a simple code puller, though it is tiny but I think the lights I see there are airbag, ABS and check engine light, get a scan tool (I did not say buy) like emmm the Autel maxidas, you will be able to do a comprehensive Scan on all the systems, but please don't take your car to kazeem

scan the car, for codes and pending codes, The car brain box or ECU needs some signals from sensors like the Crankshaft position sensor, the can shaft position sensor to start, if you can get a good scan tool even some basic scan tools are able to give you live data, you check the signals these things send to the ECU, sometimes when it's cold they work, but as soon as they heat up they stop working.
Scan the car is all I can tell you for now.

the brain box uses that sensor to know the temperature of the engine, and weather it is a cold start or not, so it was getting a wrong temp and acting on it it refused to give activate the injectors, this sensor and other sensors like Crankshaft position and cam shaft position sensors are important and lack of any will make the car not to start of if it does, run rough. Don't take your car to kazeem.

I am so grateful to Mr Gazzuzz,i don't even know where to start from. At 1st my mech service d injector mouth,nozzle,changed fuel filter and even planning to change my fuel pump but i declined. So i decided to seek for an advice from nairalanders and immediatey after posting my complaints,Mr Gazzuzz came to my rescue,i did exactly wat he told and now early morning hard starting is all ova. the current rate of compression can be checked via a pressure gauge to rule out the compressor.

OP replace the condenser(brand new), filter(comes in condenser), and expansion valve. If the compressor is bad have it replaced again.

By the time this ac finish with this guy, him go don buy new car. If he can let him take it to you.

By the way i put a paper in front of the condenser, it sucks the paper in....not with force though. So i guess its flowing in the right direction

if you don't want to understand how it works, then I am sorry, I can't help you. The AC system is very delicate and precise so you must know what you are doing, not just moving like a robot. Sorry mate.

Let me explain how the AC system works.
The compressor pressures the system, it sucks the gas from the big hose and forces it into the small hose ( low pressure side is the big hose, high pressure side is the smaller hose), when this happens, the temperature of the high pressure gas rises, then it goes into the condenser as a hot high pressure gas, the condenser is a radiator for the AC system it gets rid of the heat in the gas, when it is too hot then the fan kicks in to help on the heat exchange, then the removal of heat will make the gas to become liquid and goes to another radiator in the cabin compartment, this radiator is called evaporator, ( As its name implies it is the exact opposite of the condenser, if you know your state of matter in ss1 physics abi chemistry) but the refrigerant must pass through a device called the expansion valve in some cars or orifice tube in others, before getting into the evaporator, evaporate into a cold low pressure gas, your blower motor blows air over the cold evaporator and cools the car interior.
