first test the battery voltage use a DVOM If u have a battery load tester use it to test the battery general condition then note the voltage an a peice of paper quick reminder
then search online the average amp draw of a car stereo if possible get the amp draw of your car radio then use your DVOM to test the radio amp draw if it is higher than normal then buy another radio. uf it is normal then perform a starter motor voltage drop test the video guides are all over youtube
