One glaring reason why if you divide Nigeria into one hundred the feelings of marginalisation will still remain. Lets all join hands and make this country great irrespective of race, gender, religion and ethnic difference s.
My brother I don't think so.
The reason these things happen is that we rely on money being sent down from the FEDS, remove that money and nobody will tell him to vamose. it is because of the oil money. TA orji knows very well that Abia is a cash cow that why he is doing all these, and no governor is obliged to invest in his state so the likes of TA orji takes advantage of the situation. If the reverse werethe case it would have been the best man for the job irespective of his origins. The problem of Abia state is oil money and the unitary system Nigeria practices.

f00l so it is GEJ that will give your sister a job simply because she has a masters degree. So if there are 50 million people with masters degree GEJ should provide them jobs. Look this is the advice I continue to give to people worldwide not just Nigeria: if you are going to attend any university because you want to look fora job after school then it is an exercise in futility, it is a waste of time. University education or masters degreeis not a ticket to being well off. I for example did not, because I just didn't want to, my mind was and still is elsewhere.

WHAT TRUTH DO YOU WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW, THAT BIAFRAN TRIED?

2. A BATTLE IS NOT WON BY MAN TO MAN ONLY, THAT IS WHY A WISE MAN WILL RUBISH A STRONG MAN WITH TECHNIQUES AND INTELLECTUAL PROWESS.

3. IN THIS DISPENSATION, DON'T BELIEVE IN YOUR PHYSICAL POWER ONLY, IT WILL DO LITTLE. INTELLECTUAL POWER IS ALL YOU NEED TO DECAPITATE A MILLION PHYSICALLY STRONG MEN.

4. I BELIEVE BIAFRA DID NOT LOSE ANYONE. IT IS NIGERIA WHO LOST THOSE WHO DIED DURING THE PERIOD. WE DO NOT KNOW A NATION CALLED BIAFRA, BUT ALL WHO DIED IN ABAKALIKI, ABA, ENUGU ETC ARE NIGERIANS. THESE PLACES ARE STILL IN NIGERIA TILL TODAY.

THANKS.
Accept the truth and it will set you free. We know very well that nigerians said they will crush Biafra in 3 days but it lasted 30 months and Biafra surrendered after putting up a good fight. So buhari should not turn history upside down.

It is a well known fact that the brits supplied the Nigerians with more British made small arms than they the brits used in the whole of WWII. PoliticsRe: Stanley Azuakola: Let’s Really Be Objective Aboutgov. Theodore Orji by cocoduck: 3:40pm On Dec 07, 2014
Op thank you very much.
All of this is because of the Nigerian system of things, lack of true federalism in thiscountry is our main problem and it gives rise to other problems like corruption. If Mr.Orji were compeled by the system to pay a certain tax to the federal government every month and pay salaries of workers in the state using money generated from his state he would not be spending money on frivolous things. The false federalism we practice in this country is our main problem, period. Personaly I want a united one Nigeria but not the type of one Nigeria we practice today. If today's youths were serious they would be championing the call for true federalism, but they prefer to lambast the president as if true federalism is achieved by executive orders. It is a collective exercise and we should unite our voices in calling for it, not wasting our time calling for old bags that put us in this problem. If not the let Nigeria break so that people like Mr Orji would be eaten alive since at that time he would not have the protection of this lopsided state.

From what I read, the lawyer of the deportees did not do his homework and should refile the case. then from the comments I am not surprised that there is a mutual hatred between the people of this country. I want to see that 1diot that will tell me one Nigeria nonsense. when something bad happens to any nigeirian the first thing Nigerians will ask is what part of Nigeria the person is from then they will react based on the answer they got. It is sometimes good for the wind to blow so that we can see the fowl's romp. Now this is one of the reasons this country should
break apart.

I am afraid we may not v d nigeria of our dream for a very long time except God in his mercy decides to dash us good leaders. As long as electing leadership is concern it may takes those who are well elightened a lot of work and time to elighting d average Nigerian what democratic leadership is all about. As at now an average Nigerian will elect their leaders for d very wrong reasons. 2011, I tried asking pple why they are going to vote our current president and I heard them say bc he his from d minority, he was once poor, he was persecuted by d cabals who didnt want him to take over from Yar'dua etc and I asked do you know his performance as a former Governor and almost all d pple I spoke with didnt care about his performance as a Governor, they didnt even want to access his performance as acting President. They claimed as an acting and substansive President he cant do anything bc he's not serving his own tenure and even today some foolish pple still say he cant take serious decision in his first tenure but that when he gets 2nd he will perform and I am like a man who couldnt do much in almost 6years how much will he do in another 4years. The truth is Nigerians deserve d leaders they get. The only hope Nigeria has is that d few enlightened Nigerians will work very very hard to enlighten d majority of Nigerians who v very very bad idea about leadership.
The ultimate solution is simple. you want a progressive Nigeria? the go for true federalism. I want a Nigeria where I don't mind who the president is and where he is from but I care who is my conunty mayor and my region's governor is and what he stands for. Our governors are big spoilers.

Look you don't play politics by abusing the president. Edwin Clark has every right to be worried about GEJ's safety, because the way and leaders abuse and talk about him is very very uncivilized. when they abuse him, they feel good but when any of GEJ's supporters talk back, the person has committed a mortal sin. Just read the comments above by apc boys and you will marvel at how animalistic they are. What exactly did the man say that is bad or wrong? Going by the way you people abuse GEJ. you have change your ways and act civilized for once, you don't have the monopoly of abuses or violence.

US economy is not rich or sustained by agriculture. US and other rich countries are rich through inflow of revenues from industrial output and hitech services. Agriculture in the US or in any rich country only supplements the economy. Lazy drones in Nigeria depend only on doles from Abuja. The worst of the drones live by greater share of the doles they unduly get through a purposely created 36 stsates and Abuja political structure that favours them with a unitary government system; a unitary govt system being wrongly practiced in a multi-ethnic/religious Nigeria. That is why, some Nigerians including perhps you, spin the yarn that agriculture can tomorrow make the money for a country to be rich. Unitary govt system makes Nigerians focus on Abuja doles and ignore Agriculture which is supposed to supplement the oil-driven economy. Repeat, no rich country, including the US, is rich from its agricultural proceeds.
Go and read about the history and make up of US economy, AGric has always been the base, What where Africans kidnapped for? to do rap music? was it not to work on PLANTATIONS for white people? The US grew rich from agro business my friend, any other business is an offshoot of agriculture, be it oil or space ship manufacturing, you think people there play with their agro business? they don't, food and clothing comes first then shelter, these three basic needs are quickly met by AGRIC. Agric should be the base economy on which every other economy is built up on.
I know very well that Nigeria is made to favor just a few people, and we need true FEDERALISM or out right break up

Bundle of deception. Agriculture can only make you feed well, but not fetch enough local cash or foreign money to build even a rail line from Abuja to Kaduna, or run Nigeria under present unitary govt system. Move over to developed Western countries, there a basket of Banana or groundnut from Third world countries sell for less than one Euro. In any case, there is no part of Nigeria that cannot produce enough food to feed people in its area. Reality is tht once crude oil cash stops coming to Nigeria, today's apostles of one Nigeria shall declare independence from Nigeria - take this fact to the Central Bank.
No sit at home and wait for oil money to line your pocket and fatten your bank account, what exactly has the oil done for me as an individual? very little. Those who cling on oil money are greedy lazy thieves who are not different from their leaders they lambast as corrupt. Agriculture is not just using hoe to till the soil. we are talking about industrial agric, it is the base of the American economy, the biggest economy in the world, agricultural economy gives life to any other thing because you will not drink fuel you lazy bones. You want easy life. nothing's free even in Freetown.

Abdulsalim Abubakar also made the move for democracy as we have it today... Some dont just want to give way.

About Biafran scientists, they are there but the economy is not enabling. No matter how we put it, it still have to boil down to the economy.

Help us o Lord.
well, we are not enemies even if I am igbo, the only thing is that we missed several opportunities to make Nigeria great. Ie Gowon said the money is not the problem but what to do with it, he then embarked onreckless spending on frivolities,if he at least laid a foundation of development all we need is to build on it, it is unfortunate that we have to start from scratch which you and I know is not easy to desern what is bein done until we actually start building on that foundation, then the progress will be easily seen.
PoliticsRe: How Nigeria May Collapse In 2015 By Rudolf Ogoo Okonkwo by cocoduck: 11:57am On Dec 02, 2014
I read this long epistle with keen interest but stopped when you typed must be blamed on GEJ. That is really wrong by all ramifications. He merely happened to be there at the wrong time. many people think that oil prices fell like magic, no, go back to obama's 2008 US election campaign and listen very well to him, he made it clear that the Russians were having too much petro dollars to make trouble anywhere in the world and oneof the best ways to stop them is by bringing down oil prices. so that was the time for yar adua to start work but he was sick till 2009 when he died, then came GEJ and according to your essay 2010 is the year that recurent expenditures was lowest, well, with boko haram it is bound to rise, so the question is what where obasanjo abacha ibb and Gmb do back in those days that the civil service for example was smaller? and why did Gowon chase the biafran scientists away because Nigeria would have been a weapons manufacturing country by now if he were far sighted. Why does the legislature take 25% of national budget? and why is there no true federalism in Nigeria today? These are things when done right we wouldn't even care about oil prices.

Nigeria can't just start producing weapons because they don't have the technical know how. U first need to understand ballistics before u can think of the design for a weapon. India has technical know how in terms of IT that's why u see them in most telecom coy's in nigeria. U dat u complaining dat nigeria can't produce its own weapons, if dey take u to school to study ballistics I doubt if u'll pass.
That is exactly why Gowon should bury his head in shame. Did Biafra have any of these things? no but We were able to invent military grade weapons even with the blockade. Do you know ogbunigwe? Biafra invented that and other weapons and was so cheap and effective that Nigerians decided to adopt war tactics that even went directly against humanity like deliberately straying to attacking civilians population and shedding innocent blood. what happened after the genocide? Gowon made all the Biafran scientists to go into exile instead of integrating them into the army and making use of their technical know how. Now "great" Nigeria is begging for weapons in 2014 just as she begged in 1967. These people should all bury their heads in shame.
