ite that, I am jobless for a year now. I passed several tests and interviews, yet no job. A lot of my friends who learnt handiwork and ignore university education are doing well. They are financially sufficient and have a business doing well for them. While as a graduate, I am struggling to feed twice a day. I am broke and unemployed. And I know a lot of my graduates who are in my shoe too. So, I wonder if our investmhlent in university education in modern Nigeria is worth it. Cause many graduates are worse off compareds to the artisan who learnt handiwork in Nigeria.

Why did you choose to betray yourself? First of all, it is not called handiwork it is called learning or acquiring a technical skill, just as the Bible said that faith without works is dead' that peice of paper is worthless without one technical skill or the other, especially in engineering' there are many tools and a type of thinking faculty that your prospective employer expects you to have and you cannot get these skills in Nigerian universities.

I believe in this project because in Nigeria right now this type of engine will be very economical for electricity generation, boat propulsion even in rail transport, the most exciting thing is that I will use discarded materials for most of the parts, in just 3 months I acquired so much knowledge, though my pocket is no longer fat, but if that is the price I have to pay so be it. Right from child hood I knew that office jobs are not for me.

Point of correction, GEJ did not perform below par. Nigeria getting to where she deserves to be is more like a marathon than a sprint, it takes a lot of time hardwork and tears to get going, it takes much more to maintainthe foward movement.
