100. The Saraki administration commissioned a firm of consultants to assess and complete the palaces of the state’s first class chiefs, many of which had been abandoned by past administrations. The gesture culminated in the building in the building of ultra-modern palaces (and also renovation of existing ones), as well as equipping them with an 11 KVA Mikano Sound proof Generating Set.

101. The Saraki government also constructed Guest chalets for the Council of Chiefs at Ilorin, purchased brand new official limousines for each of the first-class chiefs, and approved an increase in the allocation to the Traditional Councils from 2.5 percent to 5 percent to boost their welfare.
He did not do anything spectacular fo his state,he was a greedy man who looted the state dry with his vassals. He couldnot turn Kwara to USA like he promised during the election campaign.

Marriage contract comes out of love ,respect and being capable to treat the woman/man according to the standard of living he/she is used to or better standards than he/she used to have.

In many cases, the Poor marrying the rich could mean a narcissist marrying an empath whereby the narcissist will destroy and devalue an empath who married him/her for love and tries to improve his/her standard of living.

Narcissists marry for benefits not for love and respect.Marriage is no a poverty allievation contract that is the job of the Govt and religious association.
A rich relative’s daughter married from a poor family uptill now the family regrets their decision. The man is always spending her money recklessly till the point of bankruptcy. He devalues her, cheat on her, beats etc.
Narcissism develops from childhood trauma and poverty which unfortunately many Nigerians have this trait due to prolonged period of hardship, child abuse and societal problems.

*Ekene's Broadcast*

I run a manufacturing business and a trading business.

The biggest challenge in my manufacturing business is not power, or infrastructure, the biggest challenge is getting honest staff. Everyone we hire is appears to be on a mission to steal as much as possible. Inflated invoices, recording less than the actual number of units produced. The worst part of it all is that all the fraud we've uncovered is not done by a single person, it's usually many staff who collude with each other, from production, to sales, to finance, even top management. There was a year I overhauled management 3 times in a year. But I've found a solution sha, I now use Indian management. So competent, so honest and so straightforward. I thought they were expensive at first with all the visa fees, accommodation, house staff, but now that losses due to staff theft have been reduced to a minimum, and efficiency increased, the Indian management has turned out to be cheaper than the previous Nigerian management. Now, all sensitive positions involving money go to Indians. Nigerians are only allowed in non-sensitive positions. I used to criticize companies like Dangote Group that hire so many Indians when there are many unemployed Nigerians, but now, I understand their decision.

My biggest challenge in the trading business is the same, getting honest staff. The form of trading occurs in the open market, and involves staff having access to huge sums of money running into a few millions. I know how much I pay to security companies to provide escorts for the staff, not to prevent robbery, but to ensure that the staff go straight to the bank to deposit the money after the day's sales and not disappear with my money. This money spent on security companies is even enough to be declared as profit. We have to spend on CCTV, biometric scanners and other things that wouldn't not be needed if staff weren't looking for the slightest opportunity to steal.

It got so bad at a point that my main criteria for employing staff was no longer conpaetency but honesty. At least, competency and skills can be learnt, but once you're dishonest, you're dishonest.

We always complain of the economy and how they are no jobs. I know people abroad who would have loved to set up job creating businesses in Nigeria but they can't because they can't get any trustworthy person to run it.

I know people in Nigeria with so much money, they want to start factories and other job-creating businesses but they can't because they are occupied elsewhere and can't get any trustworthy person to run the business. So instead of investing in the real sector and creating jobs, they'll just buy treasury bills, while the thieves are shouting no jobs.

Many big businesses would have been born in Nigeria if we could engage in partnerships, but we cant because you can't trust anyone. This is one advantage the Indians and Lebanese have over us in Nigeria. They can pull resources together and do mega-business, unlike Nigerians that because only one person must do everything since we can't partner, end up with small, tiny businesses.

Start a poultry and they will be stealing your eggs. Some will even go
ahead to be killing the chickens so that they'll be allowed to take them home.

Start an entertainment/viewing/game center and they'll be pocketing
your money. On the days you're around at the business, the money
realized will be x10 of the money realized when you're not around.
Because they're eating your money.

Lease out a vehicle to a driver to use and watch as he'll finish you.

Start a restaurant, the same thing will happen. More than half of the
total food ingredients will end up in their personal kitchens.

Even ordinary provisions shop, they will find a way to steal.

You'll see them with that their evil, wicked saying "na where person dey work, na there e dey chop, na e make dem dey callam workchop/workshop"...... Just imagine, justifying theft at work.

And you'll see these people point their crooked fingers at politicians when they're not any different. I usually say the reason most Nigerians haven't stolen billions of government money, is simply lack of opportunity. Stealing is everywhere both privates and Governments .

Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria.
We need genuine Salvation in Christ Jesus. *Spread the word now*

Foreign AffairsRe: Ethiopia, The Country That Follows A 13-month Calendar,7 Years Behind The World by cocolacec(op):
The dominant religion that people follow here is orthodox Christianity. This means that those who follow this religion, which will be around half the population, fast for 200-250 days a year approximately. The way they fast is not the way you will imagine, fasting for Ethiopian means instead of abstaining from eating, they abstain from all animal products, i.e., eggs, meat, dairy. Fasting also leads up to religious holidays, and Ethiopia has loads of them; not to forget that people fast every Wednesday and Friday throughout the year. It also means the restaurants will always tend to have a few delightful spicy vegan stews on the menu.

Absolute Independence
It is the only African country that has never been under the colonial control—and it is a fact that the locals will never get tired of boasting. The Italians managed to colonise it in 1935 and remained to rule the country with the military for six years. However, the Ethiopian forces opposed the military rule the entire time, eventually freeing the country from the oppressors. Some locals like to describe the situation as, “We waited until they had built us railways and nice buildings… and then kicked them out

Foreign AffairsEthiopia, The Country That Follows A 13-month Calendar,7 Years Behind The World by cocolacec(op):
Ethiopia, the country that follows a 13-month calendar, and is 7 years behind the rest of the world!

Ethiopia might not come to your mind when you think of a place for a vacation, and that’s where you will be going wrong. It is one of the most intriguing places that we know of, and there is enough to support the fact. The country is a melting pot of scenic natural wonders, fascinating history, rare wildlife, and deep-rooted identity. In short, visiting Ethiopia is like a trip back in time.

It is one of the most scenically beautiful and fertile countries in Africa, which is exactly the opposite of the presumed notion of being famine and drought infected. Its landscape is graced with things as diverse as castles, deserts, rare wildlife, and much more, you must be wondering why Ethiopia is an underrated travel destination. Well, this is because many are not aware of some of the mind-blowing facts about this country. Read on to know more.

13 months in a year
There are many cultures around the world that have and follow their own calendars, which is exactly not the same as the Western Gregorian calendar. However, despite that, they abide by the rule of 12 months a year. An Ethiopian year is comprised of 13 months, and is seven years behind the Gregorian calendar. In fact, Ethiopians celebrated the new millennium on September 11, 2007; this is because the Ethiopians continued with the same calendar that the Roman church amended in 525 AD.

While the first 12 months have 30 days, the last month, called Pagume, has five days and six days in a leap year.

Till date, Ethiopia uses its ancient calendar, which hardly creates any inconvenience for travellers because of the calendar difference. However, most Ethiopians these days are now aware of the Gregorian calendar, and some even use both calendars interchangeably.

Ethiopia, being one of the few countries in the world, still uses its own calendar system. The country celebrates some important holidays on days that are different from the rest of the world.

It is believed that a goat herder way back, centuries ago, noticed that his flock is attracted to a certain kind of bush, and later decided to try it for himself one day. Well, after that day, his herding capability significantly improved and made him more efficient. Legends say that coffee industry took it off from here. So, now you know the origin of your morning coffee shots.

Land of the oldest people
As per various archaeological findings, the Afar region in Ethiopia suggests in several ways that the country might be the place, from where we originated. In 1974, Lucy was discovered here, a 3.2-million-year-old hominid skeleton, which makes it the oldest fossilised skeleton.
